Background: Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) or Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a growing health problem in Indonesia. From 1987 to 2019, there were 102,667 AIDS sufferers. Adolescents aged 15-24 years are a group that is vulnerable to HIV. The purpose of PKM is for universities to play a role in developing public knowledge about reproductive health and the spread of HIV/AIDS among adolescents infection. Adolescents are a group that is more likely to transmit HIV/AIDS because they are vulnerable to risky behavior problems, such as premarital sex and substance abuse. Methods: The target of service is youth in coastal areas. Problems are solved in three stages of activity, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. Preparation is done by conducting a preliminary survey to see conditions in the field. The implementation is carried out by training, using the lecture method, namely the presentation technique, followed by question and answer discussions and exercises as a form of PKM activities. Evaluation of activities is carried out for each stage by collecting and concluding data from each stage of activity. Results: Before distributing 24 questionnaires containing information about adolescent reproductive function and HIV/AIDS to counseling participants, the result was 65%. Meanwhile, from the results of a survey of all participants to assess expansion achievement, it was found that 84%. A significant increase in participants' knowledge was 18%. Conclusion: By providing knowledge to parents, we can reach youth to avoid problems related to HIV/AIDS.

<p>The existing parking area at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar has 675 four-wheel parking areas, which cannot accommodate about 10 million passengers in 2013 and every year there is an increase. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of parking, especially the handling of four-wheeled vehicles in the parking building from entry, dropout, pickup, maneuver, clearance, vehicle rotation and parking slots to exiting the building. Analyze the parking area related to the level of safety and ease of use of parking buildings, especially on the semi-basement floor at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport. The method used for this research is a qualitative method, namely research that is descriptive and tends to use analysis from the data that has been collected and direct observation on the existing parking building at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar. The data collection process was carried out in two stages, namely the preliminary survey and the main survey. The results of research and observations of the existing parking building at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport, especially on the basement floor, show that the construction of a parking building that was built in terms of size, height clearance, slope, parking space layout, facilities are in accordance with the minimum standard of parking buildings, but there are some works such as sidewalks. and a stopper whose placement reduces the parking area and vehicle circulation.</p>

This technical note presents an analysis of the underlying factors of human factors in ship design based on questionnaires distributed on two offshore supply vessels operating in the Norwegian Sea. The concept of human factors in ship design is still evolving. The purpose of this paper is to present a preliminary model of the human factors construct by using a factor analysis method. The results confirm the existence of controllability, workability and habitability as the principal factors of human factors in ship design. Three other factors that emerged are cargo facilities, reliability, automation and maintainability (RAM) and interfacing complexity. Bridging variables found between these factors include elements such as safety, manoeuvring, engine room and bridge design. A preliminary model of how the components or parts relate to human factors in ship design and operation is developed. The model also indicates the parties who are responsible for the various aspects of ship design from a human factors perspective.

ABSTRAKKekurangan Energi Kronik (KEK) pada remaja putri/wanita adalah suatu kondisi di mana remaja putri/wanita mengalami kekurangan gizi (kalori dan protein) yang berlangsung lama atau menahun. Berdasarkan hasil Riskesdas 2018 angka kejadian KEK pada remaja putri sebesar 33,5 %. Data Riskesdas Kalimantan Selatan angka KEK paling banyak pada kategori usia remaja (15-19 tahun)  yaitu sebanyak 41,24% pada wanita hamil dan 38,27%  pada wanita yang tidak hamil. Berdasarkan survei pendahuluan terdapat 58,3 % remaja di Kecamatan Aluh-aluh mengalami KEK. Mitra sasaran kegiatan PKM adalah siswi SMAN 1 Aluh-aluh. Berdasarkan hasil survei dan diskusi dengan mitra, ada beberapa masalah yang dihadapi oleh mitra, yaitu mereka tidak pernah melakukan pemantauan status gizi dan rendahnya pengetahuan terhadap makanan dengan gizi seimbang. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian adalah dengan memberikan edukasi remaja sadar gizi secara daring dengan cara diskusi menggunakan media ebooklet tentang gizi seimbang dan KEK. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan siswi SMAN 1  Aluh-aluh tentang gizi seimbang dan KEK. Sebanyak 62 % meningkat, 20% menurun dan 18% tetap. Rekomendasi kepada pihak sekolah adalah melaksanakan kegiatan edukasi tentang gizi seimbang dan KEK secara berkala untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja dan dapat mengaplikasikannya dalam rangka mencegah terjadi KEK. Kata kunci: edukasi; pemberdayaan; siswi SMAN 1 Aluh-aluh; gizi seimbang; KEK; booklet.  ABSTRACTChronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in adolescent girls/women are young women/women who experience malnutrition (calories and protein) that lasts for a long time or are chronic. Based on the results of the 2018 Riskesdas, the incidence of CED in adolescent girls is 33.5%. Data from Riskesdas South Kalimantan has the highest number of CED in the category of adolescents (15-19 years) as many as 41.24% in pregnant women and 38.27% in women who are not pregnant. Based on the preliminary survey, there were 58.3% of adolescents in Aluh-aluh District experienced CED. The target partners of PKM activities are students of SMAN 1 Aluh-aluh. Based on the survey results and discussions with partners, there are several problems faced by partners, namely they have never monitored their nutritional status and have low knowledge of balanced nutrition. The method of implementing the service is to provide nutrition-aware youth education online by means of discussions using ebooklet media about balanced nutrition and CED and online quizzes about balanced nutrition. Based on the results of the evaluation, there was an increase in the knowledge of SMAN 1 Aluh-aluh students about balanced nutrition and CED. A total of 62% increased, 20% decreased and 18% remained. Recommendations to the school are to carry out educational activities about balanced nutrition and CED on a regular basis to increase adolescent knowledge and be able to apply it in order to prevent CED from occurring. Keywords: education; empowerment; students of SMAN 1 Aluh-aluh; balanced nutrition; CED; booklet.

The construction industry is globally known as one of the most hazardous workplaces. Companies in the construction sector are undeniably often focused on completing projects on time, which results in tight work schedules and increases the risks of regular construction site activities, especially for the public who lives in the area. Inadequate rules and regulations in public safety and construction sites not practicing the safety practices to protect the public from harm are potential to cause public accidents to happen. Additionally, little improvement in safety practices at the construction sites and lack of awareness in implementing proper safety practices at a construction site could cause the increasing the rate of public accidents too. This study merely aims to explore the safety practices to be implemented at a construction site in a way to prevent public accidents from occurring. In order to achieve the aim, this study has two (2) objectives; 1: to determine the experience in handling accident cases involving the public at a construction site, and, objective 2: to explore the safety practices to be implemented at the construction site. For this preliminary survey, the qualitative research design was selected and the total number of five (5) professional individuals specialized in safety and health in construction sites were chosen as interviewees based on their experiences in handling public safety issues in construction sites. The results show the most recommended safety practices that need to be implemented which is barricade all entrances and exits of the construction site to prevent access from the public. This study provides good insights to the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), and Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) in identifying the need for safety practices to prevent public accidents at the construction site in congested urban areas.
