The article examines the aquathermolysis process of high viscosity oil from Strelovskoe field developed by RITEK LLC using steam injection. Laboratory modeling of non-catalytic and catalytic aquathermolysis in a high-pressure reactor was performed. Laboratory tests have demonstrated the high efficiency of the iron-based oil-soluble catalyst developed at Kazan Federal University in the destruction reactions of resinous asphaltenes. Samples of the initial oil as well as products of non-catalytic and catalytic aquathermolysis in the presence of iron tallate and the solvent Asphalt-Resin-Paraffin Deposits were studied at temperatures of 200, 250 and 300°C for 24 hours. In addition, the gas composition of the oil aquathermolysis products and the viscosity-temperature characteristics of the oil samples were determined. The studies have shown that catalytic aquathermolysis has a significant effect on the changes in the composition and properties of oil from the Strelovskoe field. It was found that the presence of a catalyst contributes to decarboxylation reactions, increases the degree of desulfurization and decreases the viscosity of oil samples. Keywords: high-viscosity oil; aquathermolysis; catalyst precursor; steam thermal treatment; viscosity.

The method of Arps fall curve as an effective method that allows reliable and efficient prediction of well flow, a necessary parameter for optimal and correct choice of well operation is considered in the article. Forecasting the flow rate of wells in fields with high-viscosity oil stocks is one of the most difficult tasks in the development of oil fields. It is proved that the use of the Arps method simplifies this task, as it gives the correct results quickly and easily. The importance of the choice of well operation methods is analyzed. It has been proven that the analysis of reduced production is a means of identifying productivity problems in wells to assess their future productivity and expected service life. The use of the Harmony Enterprise platform is designed to analyze the performance of oil and gas wells and inventory assessment, to create common corporate work processes, use technical knowledge and exchange interpretations, which allows you to identify promising assets, evaluation and development strategy. The results of this work are very important and necessary for further research and analysis of the fall in production and analysis of the well.

The presented work discusses increasing oil recovery factor using physicochemical EOR methods. This article presents the field pilot tests results related to cyclical gel polymer flooding technology as applied under the conditions productive reservoirs rich in high-viscosity oils (viscosity in reservoir conditions above 300 mPa s) of the Buzachi North oil field, extending the boundaries of application of these methods. The work used the methods of hydrodynamic modeling, mathematical analysis; the necessary parameters of fractures and super reservoirs for calculating the working volumes of the injected compositions were estimated using tracer studies.

This paper presents a new and innovative oil skimming device, which combines a bubble barrier and awater jet suction. The basic design philosophy of this device is based on the following two principles: (1) no oil-water separation on the water surface, and (2) no damming nor enclosure of oil by solid elements. By adoptingthese two principles, the device can have a very simple structure, light weight, which is quite different frommany conventional oil skimmers, can solve many problems that the conventional oil skimmers suffers from, such as poor responsibility to the high viscosity oil or low maneuverability of the vessel trailing the skimmer withhigh water flow resistance. The author prototyped an experimental model and conducted experiments toconfirm the effectiveness of these principles. It was found that the combination of the bubble barrier and thehigh-pressure water jet suction was effective for oil recovery to give a future vision of the oil recovery system.

Abstract Production monitoring is essential not only for fiscal applications, but also for production optimization and efficient reservoir management. So, production measurements must be both accurate and frequent enough, revealing a consistent trend of well operating parameters. This is especially important for reservoirs of complex geology, like oil rim reservoirs in poorly consolidated sandstone formations with presence of aquifer and gas cap drive. Production monitoring can be implemented with different technologies, accuracy of monitoring is however affected by different factors like gas content, viscosity and temperature of produced fluids. Paper presents pragmatic approach and analysis of applicability of different measurement technologies: compact two-phase separator and two different multiphase metering technologies applied at oil wells of Tazovskoye field operated by LLC "Meretoyakhaneftegaz", which production conditions are very challenging due to high gas volume fraction of the produced fluid, high viscosities and low temperatures.

Abstract Due to the decrease in "easy" oil reserves, oil companies are focusing on "hard-to-recover" reserves, in particular, high-viscosity oil reservoirs. Shallow oil reservoirs are mainly concentrated in the Cretaceous horizons, in the western region of the country, along the Caspian coast. One of them is a high-viscosity oil reservoir, consisting of three Cretaceous horizons. The average viscosity of oil in reservoir conditions is around 746.7 cP. The current achieved oil production is only 5% of the initial recoverable reserves, and designed oil recovery factor is 38% and implies the full-scale application of thermal methods of EOR. The objective of this work was to choose the most suitable thermal method of EOR and to assess the prospects of applicability with the calculation of economic feasibility. Considering the geological features of the reservoir, the cyclic steam stimulation was chosen as the optimal method to increase oil recovery. In order to assess the expediency of this technology, was initiated project on thermal modeling the technology based on the current geological and hydrodynamic model of the field, using the results of laboratory studies, calculations were performed on imagined horizontal wells, and carried out the analysis of technical and economic efficiency. According to the results of calculations on the hydrodynamic model, the production rates using the technology of cyclic steam stimulation in horizontal wells are 30% higher than the production rates of "cold production", and the difference in accumulated oil production over 5 years will be 20–30%.

The article analyzes the organizational structure of the project management development with regard to the field of traditional oil reserves, functional responsibilities and areas of responsibility of its participants, as well as the mechanisms of their interaction during the implementation of work to form the organizational structure of managing a large and unique project – the development of high-viscosity oil deposits. It has been revealed that in modern business conditions the implementation of projects for the development and recovery of high-viscosity oil fields based on the traditional organizational structure of management is not effective enough. The main reasons that impede the successful implementation of projects for the development of new deposits based on the traditional organizational structure of management are identified. A new organizational structure for managing a field development project is proposed, which includes a single center of responsibility for the field development project. By the example of the Ashalchinskoye field, the economic effect of using the formed organizational structure for managing the project for developing the field in the form of a possible additional annual oil production was calculated.
