The research presented in this paper is dedicated to the development of a path planning algorithm for a moving object in a dynamic environment. The marine environment constitutes the application area. A graph theory-based path planning method for ships is introduced and supported by the results of simulation tests and comparative analysis with a heuristic Ant Colony Optimization approach. The method defines the environment with the use of a visibility graph and uses the A* algorithm to find the shortest, collision-free path. The main contribution is the development of an effective graph theory-based algorithm for path planning in an environment with static and dynamic obstacles. The computational time does not exceed a few seconds. Obtained results allow to state that the method is suitable for use in an intelligent motion control system for ships.

The fly ash as a byproduct of coal-fired power plants constitutes vital ecological problems. In Turkey, approximately 15 million tons ofashes are generated via the combustion of 40 million tons of lignite yearly. Worldwide, a number of investigation and applications wereundertaken to utilize fly ash in order to overcome the environmental problems. One of the application area of fly ashes is the production of building bricks. Characterization of fly ash samples from Seyitomer and Yatagan coal-firing power plants were conducted inthis study. TCLP 1311, ASTM3987-85 and EN 12457-2 leaching tests on the cylindrical fly ash/lime brick (FA/LB) samples which wereproduced from Seyitömer and Yatagan thermal power plant fly ash-lime mixtures were performed to determine the leachability ofsome chosen trace elements. The results show that the release of all trace elements was lower than the hazardous material limit valuesof waste acceptance. Thus, non- fired fly ash bricks are an advantageous way to solving environmental effect of disposal of fly ashes.

The relevant provisions of the mortar rebound method in the national code GB/T50315 “Technical Standards for site testing of masonry engineering” is only focus on mortar rebound method of sinter bricks, but whether the rebound curve of sintered brick mortar can be used for non-sintered brick mortar is uncertain. Therefore, the rebound curve of non-sintered brick mortar needs to be further studied. The mortar rebound method of sintered bricks is used as a model for the research process for mortar rebound method of other blocks, and the mortar of three widely used blocks of concrete products in masonry structures is selected as the research object. In the end, the mortar rebound curves for mortars of three widely used blocks are obtained through relevant tests, the results showed that the mortar rebound curves of sintered brick and non-sintered brick are completely different, thus broadening the application area of the mortar rebound method.

Abstract The article considers the use of cascade and multi-pass implementation models of corporate information systems in case of business and technological uncertainty. A review of waterfall, iterative and spiral ERP-systems implementation models is given. The business and technological uncertainties inherent in software systems implementation projects are introduced. The basic principles of development complex applications in ERP-systems are analyzed, including the rules of evolution and functionality. One compares business uncertainty for refined requirements in the waterfall and Agile-based implementation models, which operate with a change request and allocation requirements to a new round of development respectively. There is no or minimal technological uncertainty in ERP-systems implementation projects, however high business uncertainty exists, which can not be decreased by any basic implementation approaches. The application area of the waterfall and multi-pass implementation models is clarified for ERP projects from scratch, rollout and evolution under business uncertainty.

Abstract The existing partial discharge models, their diagnostic value, and application area are analyzed in the article. The models are considered from the point of view of their improvement or the possibility of creating new diagnostic methods for electrical equipment based on the characteristics of partial discharges. As an example of the implementation of a new approach to partial discharge modeling, a quasi-deterministic model is considered, which makes it possible to obtain information on the real number of cavities in the insulation of high-voltage equipment.

The relation between Reinforcement learning (RL) and Causal Modeling(CM) is an underexplored area with untapped potential for any learning task. In this extended abstract of our Ph.D. research proposal, we present a way to combine both areas to improve their respective learning processes, especially in the context of our application area (service robotics). The preliminary results obtained so far are a good starting point for thinking about the success of our research project.

The article investigates the features of the industrial application of information technologies in healthcare. Information technologies have become not only an integral part of economic and social life, but also in some sectors the leading basis for the implementation of activities. At the same time, there are both basic formats of their application that do not depend on a specific sphere, and specific ones that are characteristic of each specific industry. The ratio of ordinary and unique programs varies depending on the application area. Healthcare is characterized by a large number of unique technological products that directly help in the treatment of patients, and at the same time, there is a shortage of basic, including managerial digital technologies, which are either completely absent or are implemented to a small extent.Currently, several digital projects are in the process of development and implementation, aimed at optimizing interaction not only at the doctor–doctor level, but also at the doctor–patient level. The main tasks of these projects, in addition to automating an appointment with a doctor, medical examination, preferential medicines, regardless of the region where the patient is located, are to achieve solutions to issues related to the problems of early diagnosis of diseases remotely and in a short time. The need for this was clearly demonstrated by the coronavirus pandemic.

The sports industry has caused differentiation in marketing strategies with the effect of globalization. As a result of this differentiation, manufacturers have put the demands of their customers at the center of production. In the study; It is aimed to reveal the interaction elements within the scope of the retro marketing application area activities in the promotional videos of the Nike brand to impress people. The sample of the study consists of 4 promotional videos: Nike Air Max 2090 Cloud, Explore Air Force I City, Build Your Nike Air Max 2090, Nike Air Max 720 Day, featuring augmented reality technology with the retro products of the Nike brand. Density sampling method was used while determining the sample. Density sampling covers the best or most information-rich examples of the investigated phenomenon, rather than extreme or unusual cases. "Basic Qualitative Research Model" was applied as a research method. The main purpose of basic qualitative research is to reveal and interpret the meanings created by people. As a pattern in the study; document analysis technique was used. Documents used in qualitative research consist of four types: Public records and personal documents are the first and second types, popular culture documents are the third type, and visual documents including movies, videos, and pictures are the fourth type. This study consists of videos in the visual documents section of the fourth type. Analysis of the data obtained in our study; It was carried out according to 5 main titles and 10 sub-titles within the framework of "Retro Marketing Application Area in Sports" As a result; The Nike brand used augmented reality technology to present its products with a combination of old and new features to its consumers within the framework of retro marketing and to enable them to establish an emotional connection with the past. Under the title of images of the retro marketing application field in sports; It was observed that the redesign of AirMax and Air Force shoe models, which are identified with the brand and the titles of giveaways and themed games/events were emphasized in game day promotions. Keywords: Sports Industry, Communication, Retro Marketing, Augmented Reality, Promotion.

Inertial measurement units can nowadays be found in a wide range of applications, from consumer electronics to precision surveying systems requiring high accuracy. IMUs are also widely used in aviation, especially for UAVs. The gyroscopes and accelerometers in IMUs have specific operating modes that would result in specific errors typical of such instruments. This paper reviews the typical errors of IMUs and the accuracy that can be achieved with these instruments today in each application area.
