Older adults often need some level of assistance in performing daily living activities. Even though these activities are common to the vast majority of individuals (e.g., eating, bathing, dressing), the way they are performed varies across individuals. Supporting older people in performing their everyday activities is a major avenue of research in smart homes. However, because of its early stage, this line of work has paid little attention on customizing assistive computing support with respect to the specific needs of each older adult towards improving its effectiveness and acceptability. We propose a tool-based approach to allowing caregivers to define services in the area of home daily living, leveraging their knowledge and expertise on the older adult they care for. This approach consists of two stages: 1) a wizard allows caregivers to define an assistive service, which supports aspects of a daily activity that are specific to an older adult; 2) the wizard-generated service is uploaded in an existing smart home platform and interpreted by a dedicated component, carrying out the caregiver-defined service. Our approach has been implemented. Our wizard has been successfully used to define existing manually-programmed, activity-supporting services. The resulting services have been deployed and executed by an existing assisted living platform deployed in the home of community-dwelling individuals. They have been shown to be equivalent to their manually-programmed counterparts. We also conducted an ergonomics study involving five occupational therapists, who tested our wizard with clinical vignettes describing fictitious patients. Participants were able to successfully define services while revealing an ease of use of our wizard.

Precise and clear Business Process Modeling (BPM) can be used to implement the all of processes according to the user’s needs. On the other hand, cloud computing has become a solution for data storage and more effective and efficient computing processes. State Polytechnic of Malang (Polinema) is one of the vocational higher education Institutions in Indonesia that requires business process modeling to facilitate an integrated understanding of process flow. This study aims to describe the business processes of the financial realization system and the structure of cloud computing that can be used. This research used Bizagi for designing Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) in modeling business processes of financial system realization. This paper describes the business model of the financial realization system at Polinema. This study proposes the use of an Infrastructure as a Service IaaS-based cloud computing service model using a hybrid cloud approach to support the work of the system.

When creating a Digital Earth, huge amounts of data are generated through remote sensing and various sensors to observe our planet. Big Data has become of particular value in the context of the development of the Digital Earth. At the same time, every day there is more and more information, which creates serious problems for their collection, storage, processing, ensuring their security and legal regulation. The advent of cloud technologies has made it possible to provide computing support for collecting, storing and processing Big Data, while the heterogeneity of the amount of data collected is growing and it becomes difficult to determine their legal regime, jurisdiction and protection in general. The report analyzes the sources of Big Data used for the development of the Digital Earth, the peculiarities of their collection, storage and processing through cloud technologies, analyzes the prospects and risks of the development of the digital Earth in terms of the security of Big Data and their legal regulation.

In this paper we deal with a method for the determination of numbers in a Pascal triangle that are simultaneously triangular, tetrahedral and pentaedroidni. The collected results, obtained by mathematical analysis, were verified by computer. For this purpose, we used the C# programming language as well as the computer laboratory within our University in order to test the results. The results collected by computer confirmed the accuracy of the results obtained by mathematical analysis.

One of the main tasks in teaching mathematics is to develop students’ constructive thinking. In order to effectively accomplish this task, it is necessary to make a good selection of instructional materials and teaching aids. In order to make good selection and improve the teaching of mathematics, it is, also, necessary to include a statistical analysis of the certain factors’ impact that affect mathematics curriculum. For the purpose of this research, we used the software computational approach ANFIS (adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system) to determine the qualitative impact of several factors on improving students’ ability to create constructive thinking.
