This paper focuses on the control system of tunnel automatic car washing machine and puts forward a control scheme of automatic car washing system based on PLC control. This design uses domestic Hexin PLC as the core for control and man-machine interaction through touch screen, so as to control and monitor the work of the system. Each switch button, infrared sensor, ultrasonic sensor and limit switch are input to PLC as output signal, and then PLC controls the operation of each working part. This PLC based control system is more reliable, and easy to implement, in the actual use of simple operation, and easy to maintain, and have a good market prospects.

The field-of-view (FOV) of compound eyes is an important index for performance evaluation. Most artificial compound eyes are optical, fabricated by imitating insect compound eyes with a fixed FOV that is difficult to adjust over a wide range. The compound eye is of great significance in the field of tracking high-speed moving objects. However, the tracking ability of a compound eye is often limited by its own FOV size and the reaction speed of the rudder unit matched with the compound eye, so that the compound eye cannot better adapt to tracking high-speed moving objects. Inspired by the eyes of many organisms, we propose a soft-array, surface-changing compound eye (SASCE). Taking soft aerodynamic models (SAM) as the carrier and an infrared sensor as the load, the basic model of the variable structure infrared compound eye (VSICE) is established using an array of infrared sensors on the carrier. The VSICE model is driven by air pressure to change the array surface of the infrared sensor. Then, the spatial position of each sensor and its viewing area are changed and, finally, the FOV of the compound eye is changed. Simultaneously, to validate the theory, we measured the air pressure, spatial sensor position, and the FOV of the compound eye. When compared with the current compound eye, the proposed one has a wider adjustable FOV.

Abstract Landsat 8 Satellite Imagery (Landsat Data Continuity Mission, LDCM) is a satellite product made by Orbital Science Corporation, which launched with The Operational Land Imager (OLI) and Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS) instruments as the latest features. One of the Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS) instruments is called Band 10, that provide temperature information on the earth’s surface. As many research conduct the temperature comparison between satellite imagery analysis and land cover temperature has been come with positive correlation for both of the variable. As to prove the temperature relationship, it is necessary to validate the actual temperature values on the earth’s surface by conduct the temperature survey in the area using the temperature measurement tools. One of the tools is DJI Mavic Enterprise Dual Thermal camera as the camera that capable to take samples data of particular objects categories that included urban areas, waters, vegetation, open land, settlements, and industrial factories. Using the satellite imagery’s temperature data and the land cover temperature data survey, comparing and accuration assessment are needed to see how close the value of both variable. The data processing carried out that both of the data have a positive correlation as the relationship, which have a Pearson correlation value of 0.892 and sig. (2-tailed) at the number 0.000000068. This correlation value showed that the relationship between both data is acceptable as the both data can represent each other to conduct any research. However, as the satellite imagery contains 29,85% of cloud cover, the temperature obtained lower in the Landsat 8 satellite image rather than the actual temperature on the earth’s surface.

Abstract: In this paper a Raspberry Pi based automated solution system focused on the real-time face monitoring of people to detect both face masks and body temperature with the help of MLX90614 sensor has been proposed. This is implemented using Python Programming with OpenCV Library, TensorFlow, Dlib Module. A security clearance system is deployed that will allow that person to enter if they are wearing a face mask and their body temperature is in check with WHO guidelines. A programmed hand sanitizer apportioning machine is mechanized, non-contact, liquor-based hand sanitizer gadget. Liquor is essentially a dissolvable, and furthermore a generally excellent sanitizer when contrasted with fluid cleanser or strong cleanser, likewise it needn't bother with water to wash off since it is unpredictable furthermore, disintegrates in a split second after application to hands. It is too demonstrated that a convergence of >70% liquor can execute Covid in hands. Here, we have used IR sensor detects the hand put close to it, the Arduino Uno is utilized as a microcontroller, which detects the distance and the outcome isthe pump starts running out the hand sanitizer. Thus, the above said system will help the society by saving time and also helps in contaminating the spread of coronavirus. This can be implemented in public places such as colleges, schools, offices, shopping malls, etc. to inspect people.

Research on laboratory room security system has begun to be developed with various kinds of inputs used. In this study, the design of a laboratory room security prototype with automatic doors has been realized using the MLX90614 temperature sensor based on Arduino Atmega 2560. The design of this prototype aims to design a prototype laboratoey room with automatic doors using a door lock solenoid and a temperature sensor MLX90614. In addition, this system is equipped with a counter to reduce and add people in the room using the FC-51 infrared sensor. Data retrieval is done by detecting human temperature before entering the room, when the temperature input is met, the door of the room will open with a maximum limit of 10 people. The results showed that the system was functioning properly, indicated by the state of the door that could open when it received an input of temperature between 35-37°C, the door remained closed when detecting of temperature other than 35-37°, and the door remained closed when the object in the room was up to 10 people.

With the exponential rise in the use of drones anywhere anytime, malicious use by outlaws is increasing as well. This calls for protective, detective, preventive measures to counter these attacks. This paper aims to review literature on drone detection and classification that utilizes a myriad of modalities ranging from using thermal infrared sensors to radar detections. In addition, there is a summary of a detailed discussion on drone classification along with recent progress and development in drone detection using machine learning, all of which is performed in an attempt to identify means to thwart such attacks. Furthermore, some future research directions, related to this new field of study, are discussed.
