We identified the key genes controlling the late maturation of the Japonica cultivar Isehikari, which was found at Ise Jingu Shrine and matures 6 days later than Koshihikari. We conducted a genetics-based approach through this study. First, the latest mature plants, which flowered later than Isehikari, were segregated in the F2 and F3 generations of Koshihikari×Isehikari. Next, the linkage relationship of a single late-maturing gene with the SSR markers on the long arm of chromosome 3 was inferred by using late-maturing homozygous F2 segregants. Moreover, genetic analyses of late maturity were conducted through the process of six times of continuous backcross with Koshihikari as a recurrent parent by using the late-maturing homozygous F3 line as a nonrecurrent parent, thus developing a late-maturing isogenic Koshihikari (BC6F2). As a result, we elucidated a single late-maturing gene with incomplete dominance that caused the 14-day maturation delay of Koshihikari. The whole-genome sequencing was conducted on both of Koshihikari and the late-maturing isogenic Koshihikari. Then, the SNP call was conducted as the reference genome of Koshihikari. Finally, a single SNP was identified in the key gene Hd16 of the late-maturing isogenic Koshihikari.

In this paper, a multilayer recurrence network is introduced to examine the information linkage between carbon and energy markets. We first construct a multilayer recurrence network of energy and carbon markets, and we define the information linkage coefficient to measure the linkage relationship between the network layers based on the network microstructure. To measure the mutual leading relationship between carbon and energy markets, we construct a time-delay multilayer recurrence network and introduce the time-delay information linkage coefficient to measure the intersystem interaction. The carbon and energy prices, including West Texas Intermediate crude oil, coal, natural gas, and gasoline, from February 22, 2011, to April 1, 2019, are selected as sample data for empirical analysis. The results show that the linkage relationship between oil, coal, natural gas, and carbon prices presents a U-shaped trend in the second, transitional, and third phases of the European Union carbon market, while the linkage trend of gasoline and carbon prices continues to rise. The mutual leading relationship between energy and carbon prices changes in different stages, and carbon price plays a leading role at the present stage.

Fujian is very wealthy in natural resources, which provides a good environment for social development and people’s life. However, with the development of economy, environmental pollution has become an importation problem in Fujian. In order to discuss the linkage relationship between economic development and environmental pollution, this paper selects the data of the secondary industry, industrial waste gas emissions, industrial waste water emissions and industrial solid waste production from 1995 to 2017 in Fujian, establishes the VAR model, explore the relationship between the development of secondary industry and environmental pollution. The results show that the association between the development of the secondary industry and environmental pollution is monotonously increasing. The industrial waste gas has become the main pollutant restricting the development of the secondary industry. Industrial solid waste has made the largest contribution to the development of the secondary industry, indicating a positive dynamic correlation.

This paper aims to analyze the revenue from the tax sector in Indonesia during the period 1990-2016. The variables in the analysis tool consist of VAT, PBB, PPH, Domestic tax, international tax, non oil tax, oil tax, other tax, bphtb, excise, cost in, export tax. The data in this study is downloaded from the website of the central body statistics and other web sites. This research uses correlation test, covariance and granger causality test. From the research conducted do explain that almost the variables of tax revenue in the meticulous have a strong linkage relationship, and mutually correlated very high, with the causality test as the tax revenue variable has a two-way relationship and partly 1 direction and mutually unrelated. So with the results in the can, be sure that the tax revenue variable there is a relationship and relevance.

Lacking training examples is one of the main obstacles to learning systems. Transfer learning aims to extract and utilize useful information from related datasets and assists the current task effectively. Most existing methods restrict tasks connection on the same feature sets, or require aligned examples cross domains, even cannot take full advantage of the limited label information. In this paper, we focus on transferring between heterogeneous domains, i.e., those with different feature spaces, and propose the Metric Transporation on HEterogeneous REpresentations (MapHere) approach. In particular, an asymmetric transformation map is first learned to compensate the  cross-domain feature difference based on linkage relationship between objects; then the inner-domain discrepancy is further reduced with learned optimal transportation. Note that both source domain and cross-domain relationship are fully utilized in MapHere, which helps improve target classification task a lot.  Experiments on synthetic dataset validate the importance of the ''metric facilitated'' consideration, while results on real-world image and text classification also show the superiority of the proposed MapHere approach.

This study surveyed the views of marketing educators, practitioners and graduating students over the increasing gap between marketing theory and practice in Nigeria which has led to the displacement of marketing graduates from marketing positions in many companies across various industries. The survey research design was adopted while a convenience sample size of 180 respondents was used. The respondents were drawn from Marketing lecturers and students in tertiary institutions offering Marketing in the South-east and South-south, as well as industry managers. The study revealed that the level of synergy between marketing theory and practice in Nigeria was poor which results in poor performance of marketing graduates and that the quality of marketing education and methods adopted in teaching the subject matter have high impact on graduates’ performance. It was recommended among others that tertiary institutions offering marketing should seek strong linkage, relationship and knowledge coalition with industry players and employers of labour and that NUC, NIMN and institutional authorities should put an eagle eye on the quality of lecturers, materials and learning environment in order to boost the quality and relevance of marketing education.
