Digital image watermarking is an active research field since it provides protection, security, and authenticity of data. This paper presents development and implementation of a blind and robust watermarking application for ID images under a print-cam system. In the present case, the images are watermarked and printed on ID cards and then detected freehandedly with a smartphone camera. In order to design an efficient and robust image watermarking application, the attacks produced in print-cam processes, such as geometric distortions, must be resolved. Accordingly, the proposed watermarking approach is applied in the Fourier domain. Then, a frame-based projective rectification is integrated to deal with geometric distortions by using detection of Hough lines. Moreover, better robustness against print-cam watermarking attacks was achieved compared with the existing methods, and an Android application was designed and implemented based on the proposed scheme.

Tomatoes ripen relatively quickly, so tomato farmers must be able to properly sort the tomatoes for distribution. Farmers typically sort the tomatoes by hand. Tomato farmers are generally experts at manually sorting tomatoes, but humans have many limitations, such as being tired and unfocused. Because these issues can lead to inconsistencies and inaccuracies in sorting, a tool is required to help with the process. As a result, it is necessary to create an Android application to aid in the sorting process. The reason for using Android as a platform is that it is a tool that a large number of people own. The LVQ algorithm is used as a learning algorithm to find the best model for tomato recognition. To build the model, the algorithm requires features. Colors with Hue, Saturation, and Value (HSV) are used. The Personal eXtreme Programming (PXP) system development methodology was used to create applications that recognize the level of ripeness of tomatoes. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is the analytic tool of choice. The application was successfully developed on the Android platform based on the test results. The application's use results in an accuracy of 80%. Green and red tomatoes are the most well-known types of tomatoes. Turning tomatoes are difficult to identify because many of them are mistaken for green tomatoes. Enclosed areas pose a greater risk of transmitting infectious and bacterial diseases. The proposed system helps prevent disease by tracking students’ daily body temperature before entering the school premises. Each student will be provided with a unique QR code containing the student information, such as their name and class. The QR code needs to be scanned first by the camera-equipped smartphone before reading the body temperature. The thermometer will record the student’s body temperature and send the information to the smartphone via Bluetooth. The student’s profile will be updated with the recorded daily temperature. An Android application will be developed to scan the QR code and display the students’ profiles and information. In order to design a battery-less system, the system will be integrated with a wireless power transfer circuit. Based on the simulation results, the wireless power transfer circuit can be used as a wireless charger for the smartphone used in the system or for charging the thermometer’ of the thermometer.

There are still many elementary schools that have not implemented an information system for processing student grades online because of the assumption that this is still not needed, even though in fact the use of computerized information systems can help schools in improving the academic process to be more effective and efficient. Information systems with web-based applications that are now often found still have shortcomings, namely the mobility of their use is still lacking compared to Android-based applications which are now easier to use and access anywhere. The use of web applications as a means for teachers to input values as well as an android application as a means for parents to be able to monitor their children's academic scores is considered to be the most appropriate solution in implementing this information system, but differences in platforms between Android and the web make it difficult for data to be integrated with each other. Therefore we need an interoperability system in order to integrate applications from different platforms. Then an android based academic score monitoring application was made with RESTful web service. The selection of the RESTful web service system itself is because this system applies the concept of a client server where the server to be created is a web-based application that is used by the school to input student grades, and the client application is an android application intended for parents / guardians of students to get information regarding the value of his child. The output of this research is an application system for monitoring the academic scores of elementary school students by implementing the RESTful web service system in its application as well as the results of the application testing questionnaire based on the usability aspect of the application with the final result of the application eligibility percentage of 87%.Keywords: Monitoring Student Values, Platforms, Information Systems.

Along with the increasing crime rate of data theft that occurs, it takes a good room security system to maintain data security for a particular agency or organization. Something A good security system is a security system that can be monitored and controlled remotely using the internet or better known as IoT (Internet of Things). In this thesis will designed an IoT-based room security system using the Android application, this system works using several modules including RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) module, camera module and door lock solenoid. The RFID card in this RFID Module functions as an identification process for people who want to enter into the room. In addition, this RFID module also functions as a trigger for the camera to work to take pictures a picture of the person who wants to enter the room. The data obtained from the two modules later will be sent into the Android application. The admin of the room can carry out the verification process to allow or deny people who want to enter the room. The results of testing this system can be runs well when the internet speed of the access point is fast and stable, but less optimal when the internet speed of the access point is running slowly.

The Android system operates on many smartphones in many locales. Websites and web tools have their own requirements in day-to-day life. To reach the maximum users, the app and website should handle all the resources such as text strings, functions, layouts, graphics, and any other static data that the app/website needs. It requires internationalization and localization of the website and app to support multiple languages. The basic idea of this chapter is to present an approach for localizing the Android application according to the location data that the app received from the device, but many users do not allow the “access location” feature so this approach will be a dead end in this case. The authors have proposed some other techniques to achieve this feature of localization and internationalization by implementing the “choose language” service so that the app can itself optimize its content and translate it into the user's native language.

Since the boom in science and technology, humans have been trying to invent machines that could reduce their efforts in day to day activities. In this paper, we develop a personal assistant robot that could pick up objects and return it to the user. The robot is controlled using an android application in mobile phones. The robot can listen to user’s command and then respond in the best way possible. The user can command the robot to move to given location, capture images and pick objects. The robot is equipped with ultrasonic sensor and web camera that helps it to move to different location effectively. It is also equipped with sleds that play important role in object picking process. The robot uses a tiny YOLOv3 model which is rigorously trained on several images of the object. There are some possible improvements that can be achieved which could help this robot to be used in several other fields as well.
