In this work, we study a time-fractional ion sound and Langmuir waves system (FISLWS) with Atangana–Baleanu derivative (ABD). We use a fractional ABD operator to transform our system into an ODE. We investigate multiwaves, periodic cross-kink, rational, and interaction solutions by the combination of rational, trigonometric, and various bilinear functions. Furthermore, 3D, 2D, and relevant contour plots are presented for the natural evolution of the gained solutions under the selection of proper parameters.

Two possibilities should be considered for the origin of SARS-CoV-2: natural evolution or laboratory creation. In the authors' earlier report titled “Unusual Features of the SARS-CoV-2 Genome Suggesting Sophisticated Laboratory Modification Rather Than Natural Evolution and Delineation of Its Probable Synthetic Route,” they disproved the possibility of SARS-CoV-2 arising naturally through evolution and instead proved that SARS-CoV-2 must have been a product of laboratory modification. Despite this and similar efforts, the laboratory creation theory continues to be downplayed or even diminished. This is fundamentally because the natural origin theory remains supported by several novel coronaviruses published after the start of the outbreak. Here, however, the authors use in-depth analyses of the available data and literature to prove that these novel animal coronaviruses do not exist in nature.

Stages of natural evolution such as biogenesis and abiogenesis are the well-recognized terms to characterize the very different phases of life development. Traditionally, an abiogenesis is believed as the early stage of evolution that is mainly the chemistry phase dealing with intercoupling between the complex polymer chains when manifestations of life assumes substantial participation of cooperative effects. It its turn, a biogenesis as the subsequent stage of evolution is the period for prevalence of Darwin’s laws showing, in particular, in battle among separate species in the way of variability-heredity contest. In this article, we discuss possible nature of the transition between above stages as a normal result of progress in an evolutionary system simulated by mathematical model of open system with infinite number of conserved links with system surroundings. It is shown that the biosystem, in transition point experiences the deep reconstruction in existing pattern of energy exchange which leads to emergence of the more complicated and advanced stage of evolution. Our study showed that the found transition point can be considered as a singularity point in system evolution. In its turn, the evolution stages with the dissimilar meaning are the physical placeholders for stage of abiogenesis and biogenesis in natural evolution, correspondingly.

The data analyzed in this review indicate that an important feature of the natural evolution of diabetic retinopathy (DR) is the possibility of reverse development of its main signs, including newly formed vessels. The term “spontaneous remission”, proposed by M.D. Davis, may be correct for stating this condition. Spontaneous remission can be persistent and its frequency can significantly exceed the generally accepted 10 %. Signs of remission of proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR), regardless of the cause of occurrence (spontaneous or resulting from treatment) are: absence of ophthalmoscopically detectable neovessels; increased/appearance of the fibrous component of proliferation, which is accompanied by traction deformation of the retina. Therefore, the scale reflecting the stages of evolution of newly formed vessels and the scale of severity reflecting the degree of threat to visual functions in PDR cannot be identical. Since the development and regression of neovessels is a reflection of multidirectional processes, the identification of the phase of PDR evolution is fundamental in the formation of research design. Due to the possibility of using artificial intelligence for the analysis of “big data”, the effectiveness of the approach to the study of DR will largely be determined by the adequacy of the grouping of the source data. In this regard, the analysis of previous experience is relevant, which allows us to improve some principles of systematization of results. Conclusion: The statement of the phase of evolution of neovessels in PDR is fundamental in epidemiological and scientific studies. The identification of signs indicating the likelihood of spontaneous remission of DR/PDR will allow us to provide a differentiated approach to treatment, as well as to study the association with the dynamics of the patient’s somatic status.

Abstract In a previous paper [Fan Z et al. 2021 Phys. Rev. B, 104, 104309], we developed the neuroevolution potential (NEP), a framework of training neural network based machine-learning potentials using a natural evolution strategy and performing molecular dynamics (MD) simulations using the trained potentials. The atom-environment descriptor in NEP was constructed based on a set of radial and angular functions. For multi-component systems, all the radial functions between two atoms are multiplied by some fixed factors that depend on the types of the two atoms only. In this paper, we introduce an improved descriptor for multi-component systems, in which different radial functions are multiplied by different factors that are also optimized during the training process, and show that it can significantly improve the regression accuracy without increasing the computational cost in MD simulations.

<p>Mythistoric genealogies, the claims of divine or heroic ancestry made by the Roman elite during the Republic, provide an alternative lens through which to understand social constructs and political experiences of Romans. However, the relationship between mos maiorum and these mythistoric genealogies remains unexplored in modern scholarship in a detailed and focused manner. This research sets out to demonstrate that mythistoric genealogies were a natural evolution of the Romans’ ancestral veneration which is implicit in mos maiorum.  This thesis focuses on three of the most politically prolific gentes whose social influence spanned the 500 years of the Republic. First, each case study assembles and analyses the evidence (numismatics, literature, sculpture and architecture) that preserved the claims made by each gens and arranges them in such a way as to furnish a linear account of the genealogies. Second, each case study presents and analyses a member of each gens to demonstrate how he exemplifies, retains, or emulates the attributes, instructions and morality of their described genealogy. The historical person is analysed through the lenses of mythistoric genealogy, Paradigmatic Pressure, and Social Capital.  The three case studies demonstrate that the clans of Aemilius, Fabius, and Valerius used their mythistoric genealogies to anchor themselves to the majesty of Rome’s past and that mythistoric genealogy was an integral part of mos maiorum. Furthermore, the connection of mythistoric genealogy, as an evolved element of mos maiorum, is emphasised through the following factors: they serve an educational function; serve as binding instructions; display the retention of events, lives and deeds of heroes; serve as examples meant for the emulation of the past morality; and, finally, can be shaped and reconstructed to suit present situations or political agendas. The results of this research contributes directly to the ongoing discussion of mos maiorum, discusses the social concepts held by elite Romans during the Republic, demonstrates how inter-generational connections were crucial to ideals held by the nobiles, and engages with mos maiorum in-depth (in terms of myth and legend) in a way that has not been done in a ‘per gens’ manner in scholarship, filling a gap in the study of social history during the Republic.</p>

This paper proposes an optimization paradigm for structure design of curved-tube nozzle based on genetic algorithm. First, the mathematical model is established to reveal the functional relationship between outlet power and the nozzle structure parameters. Second, genetic algorithms transform the optimization process of curved-tube nozzle into natural evolution and selection. It is found that curved-tube nozzle with bending angle of 10.8°, nozzle diameter of 0.5 mm, and curvature radius of 8 mm yields maximum outlet power. Finally, we compare the optimal result with simulations and experiments of the rotating spinning. It is found that optimized curved-tube nozzle can improve flow field distribution and reduce the jet instability, which is critical to obtain high-quality nanofibers.
