AbstractThis contribution defines a methodology for the direct offline programming of robotic high-precision assembly tasks without the need for real-world teach-in, even for less-accurate lightweight robots. Using 3D scanning technologies, the relevant geometrical relations of the offline programming environment are adjusted to the real application. To bridge remaining accuracy gaps, tactile insertion algorithms are provided. As repetitive inaccuracy compensation through tactile search is considered wasteful, a method to automatically adapt the robot program to continuously increase precision over time, taking into account multiple influence sets is derived. The presented methodology is validated on a real-world use case from electronics production.

AbstractIt is generally agreed that one origin of machine bias is resulting from characteristics within the dataset on which the algorithms are trained, i.e., the data does not warrant a generalized inference. We, however, hypothesize that a different ‘mechanism’ may also be responsible for machine bias, namely that biases may originate from (i) the programmers’ cultural background, including education or line of work, or (ii) the contextual programming environment, including software requirements or developer tools. Combining an experimental and comparative design, we study the effects of cultural and contextual metaphors, and test whether each of these are ‘transferred’ from the programmer to the program, thus constituting a machine bias. Our results show that (i) cultural metaphors influence the programmer’s choices and (ii) contextual metaphors induced through priming can be used to moderate or exacerbate the effects of the cultural metaphors. Our studies are purposely performed with users of varying educational backgrounds and programming skills stretching from novice to proficient.

The efficiency of the functioning of boiler units depends on the availability of reliable information on the progress of technological processes. The lack of control and measuring systems for the composition of the exhaust gases leads to low efficiency of the boiler unit, in particular, due to poor-quality fuel combustion. Therefore, in modern operating conditions of boiler units, it is relevant to develop technological solutions focused on finding and minimizing the causes and mechanisms of the formation of harmful substances in exhaust gases. Due to the fact that replacement of outdated boiler units with new ones requires significant capital investments, a promising direction is the modernization of existing boiler units. It is a low-cost and efficient way of rational use of fuel while simultaneously reducing the level of harmful substances in exhaust gases. It remains relevant to ensure the functioning of the control systems for the composition of the air-fuel mixture (AFM) with a given speed and high reliability of maintaining the excess air ratio (EAR) at the stoichiometric level. In the article the high-quality algorithm is proposed for the operation of an automatic control system for the combustion of fuel in boilers of medium and low power by regulating the ratio of the components of the AFM for the burner with feedback according to the signals of the oxygen sensor. The algorithms for the operation of the frequency regulator of the ratio of the components of the AFM in various operating modes are considered. The developed algorithms allowed maintaining the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio in the boiler furnace, reducing the level of toxic emissions into the atmosphere and increasing the boiler efficiency by optimizing the fuel combustion process. The AFM ratio programmer is made in the LM Programmer technical programming environment and works with Windows operating systems (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10) and oxygen sensors manufactured by Bosch. The visualization of the control process of the fuel combustion process is made in the technical programming environment LogWorks 3 and operates in the environment of Windows operating systems.

Bromide 1 - (β-phenylethyl)-4-amino-1,2,4-triazolium (Hypertril) has the properties of a beta-blocker and of NO-mimetic, is assigned to the IV class of toxicity. All these effects make Hypertril a promising drug for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The aim of this paper was to study the cardioprotective action of Hypertril in terms of the effect on the morpho-functional parameters of the myocardium in rats with experimental chronic heart failure (CHF). CHF was modeled on 80 white outbred rats weighing 190–220g by administering doxorubicin at a cumulative dose of 15 mg/kg. Hypertril and the reference drug metoprolol succinate were administered within 30 days after CHF modeling, intragastrically at doses of 3.5 mg/kg and 15 mg/kg. Morphometric analysis of the cellular structure of the myocardium was carried out on an Axioskop microscope (Zeiss, Germany), in an automatic mode using a macro program developed in a specialized programming environment VIDAS-2.5 (Kontron Elektronik, Germany). The administration of Hypertril to animals with CHF led to an increase in the density of nuclei of cardiomyocytes, the area of myocardiocyte nuclei, an increase in the nuclear cytoplasmic ratio and an increase in the concentration of RNA in the nuclei and cytoplasm of cardiomyocytes compared with the group of untreated animals, which indicated the presence of a pronounced cardioprotective effect in the drug candidate. In terms of such indicators as the density of surviving cardiomyocytes and the content of RNA in them, the nuclear-cytoplasmic ratio of Hypertril is significantly (p < 0.05) superior to metoprolol.

The article discusses the methodological aspects of teaching algorithmization and the basics of robotics using the educational constructor LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 in the TRIK Studio environment. The advantages of using the TRIK Studio programming environment to control both a real robot "live" and a virtual one in simulation mode are shown. Based on the methodology for introducing basic algorithmic constructions and types of algorithms by I.G. Semakin, examples of solving a system of problems using commands to control the EV3 robot in the TRIK Studio environment are given. The LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Robot is seen as a new performer in the TRIK Studio environment. The article highlights directions and provides examples of tasks for further mastering the basics of robotics and algorithmization. The parallel study of the basics of robotics with the study of the algorithmization section based on the task approach allows you to organize the learning process in the informatics course based on interdisciplinary and STEM approaches, to implement the requirements of the Approximate Basic Educational Program of Basic General Education (2015).

Abstract In our paper, we consider the procedure for effective programming of an approximating k-ary GCD algorithm of natural numbers in the C++ programming language in the Visual Studio programming environment with the installed MPIR library of long numbers. There are also some theoretical calculations that justify the application of certain solutions. The task of GCD computation has an important efficient in different applications of Number Theory and Cybersecurity.

When organizing training in computer networks on real equipment, educational institutions face organizational, technical and material difficulties. Using network modeling, the above difficulties can be avoided in teaching future informatics teachers about computer networks. The aim of the research was to prove the effectiveness of teaching future informatics teachers to computer networks based on network modeling. The method of theoretical analysis is carried out in order to comprehensively study the state of the problem under consideration. A pedagogical experiment has been conducted for evaluating the efficiency of teaching computer networks based on modeling. The study has been organized in experimental and control groups. Mathematical statistics were used for the analysis. In the course of the study, it was found that the development and implementation of the proposed teaching methodology provides an opportunity for full and high-quality training of future informatics teachers in the field of computer networks, which allows them to solve professional problems in the design, maintenance, configuration and administration of computer networks. Keywords: programming environment; informatics teacher; network technologies; teaching methods; informatization.
