Abstract—This paper presents a method to use the capabilities of distributed computer networks in cryptanalysis of block ciphers. The system is structured based on 3 software. Management software for input data entry, analysis, and keyspace division. Cryptanalysis software on CPU and GPU is installed respectively for client computers in the distributed network is responsible for cryptanalysis of data provided by the management software. The results are sent to the administrative software for analysis and decoding. The encryption process is performed on all computers in the network at the same time in their spare time, without affecting the user's daily activities. The system includes GPU computers that increase the performance of the cryptanalysis by 11 times. This solution has been applied in Windows password detection via LAN Manager hash code.

Data Management Plans are now considered a key element of Open Science. They describe the data management life cycle for the data to be collected, processed and/or generated within the lifetime of a particular project or activity. A Software Manag ement Plan (SMP) plays the same role but for software. Beyond its management perspective, the main advantage of an SMP is that it both provides clear context to the software that is being developed and raises awareness. Although there are a few SMPs already available, most of them require significant technical knowledge to be effectively used. ELIXIR has developed a low-barrier SMP, specifically tailored for life science researchers, aligned to the FAIR Research Software principles. Starting from the Four Recommendations for Open Source Software, the ELIXIR SMP was iteratively refined by surveying the practices of the community and incorporating the received feedback. Currently available as a survey, future plans of the ELIXIR SMP include a human- and machine-readable version, that can be automatically queried and connected to relevant tools and metrics within the ELIXIR Tools ecosystem and beyond.

AbstractBoth industry and science point out the need to integrate PLM and ALM since products evolve from mechatronic to smart products. This paper investigates data management tasks fulfilled when creating or improving design. Particularly, the differences and commonalities in design evolution management of the software and hardware disciplines are considered. This paper introduces a beta version of a hash function based tool, applying the software management mechanism on mechanical revision management.

<p>The Earth, space, and environmental sciences have made significant progress in awareness and implementation of policy and practice around the sharing of data, software, and samples.  In specific, the Coalition for Publishing Data in the Earth and Space Sciences (https://copdess.org/) brings together data repositories and journals to discuss and address common challenges in support of more transparent and discoverable research and the supporting data.  Since the inception of COPDESS in 2014 and the completion of the Enabling FAIR Data Project in 2019, work has continued on the improvement of availability statements for data and software as well as corresponding citations.  </p><p>As the broad research community continues to make progress around data and software management and sharing, COPDESS is focused on several key efforts. These include 1) supporting authors in identifying the most appropriate data repository for preservation, 2) validating that all manuscripts have data and software availability statements, 3) ensuring data and software citations are properly included and linked to the publication to support credit, 4) encouraging adoption of best practices. </p><p>We will review the status of these current efforts around data and software sharing, the important role that repositories and researchers have to ensure that automated credit and attribution elements are in place, and the recent publications on software citation guidance from the FORCE11 Software Implementation Working Group.</p>

This research paper deals with the software management processes concern with the software development. Varity of SDLC models have been designed accepted and used for software development. This model give a theoretical guideline regarding development of the software. Each SDLC has its own pros and cons. The aim of this paper is to analysis some methodologies that gives comparison on SDLC models by studied available, tools, techniques and methodologies of SDLC models.
