In this paper, a high-level semantic recognition model is used to parse the video content of human sports under engineering management, and the stream shape of the previous layer is embedded in the convolutional operation of the next layer, so that each layer of the convolutional neural network can effectively maintain the stream structure of the previous layer, thus obtaining a video image feature representation that can reflect the image nearest neighbor relationship and association features. The method is applied to image classification, and the experimental results show that the method can extract image features more effectively, thus improving the accuracy of feature classification. Since fine-grained actions usually share a very high similarity in phenotypes and motion patterns, with only minor differences in local regions, inspired by the human visual system, this paper proposes integrating visual attention mechanisms into the fine-grained action feature extraction process to extract features for cues. Taking the problem as the guide, we formulate the athlete’s tacit knowledge management strategy and select the distinctive freestyle aerial skills national team as the object of empirical analysis, compose a more scientific and organization-specific tacit knowledge management program, exert influence on the members in the implementation, and revise to form a tacit knowledge management implementation program with certain promotion value. Group behavior can be identified by analyzing the behavior of individuals and the interaction information between individuals. Individual interactions in a group can be represented by individual representations, and the relationship between individual behaviors can be analyzed by modeling the relationship between individual representations. The performance improvement of the method on mismatched datasets is comparable between the long-short time network based on temporal information and the language recognition method with high-level semantic embedding vectors, with the two methods improving about 12.6% and 23.0%, respectively, compared with the method using the original model and with the i-vector baseline system based on the support vector machine classification method with radial basis functions, with performance improvements about 10.10% and 10.88%, respectively.

PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero) or Inalum is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) which is a pioneer company and the only one in Indonesia engaged in the production of Primary Aluminium (ingots, billets and alloys). Currently, Inalum is faced with problems with 42.39% of employees having period of employment less than 5 years in 2018. Conditions of productivity performance also declined from 2014 which was 135.35 tons of aluminium per employee per year to 117.67 tons of aluminium per employee per year in 2018. This becomes basic policy to implement knowledge management and learning organizations within the company. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the effect of knowledge management with the focus of tacit knowledge on organizational performance through learning organizations. The independent variable in this study is tacit knowledge management, the dependent variable is organizational performance, and the intervening variable is the learning organization. Data collection using a questionnaire with a total sample of 100 respondents. This research uses SEM analysis method which has previously been tested for validity and reliability. The results of this study indicate that tacit knowledge management has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance, tacit knowledge management has a positive and significant effect on learning organizations, learning organization has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance and tacit knowledge management has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance through learning organizations. Keywords: Knowledge Management, Tacit Knowledge Management, Learning Organization, and Organizational Performance.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to figure out the paths about transformation of tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge, i.e. tacit knowledge explicating (TKE) in real estate companies, and determine the influencing factors of TKE in Chinese real estate companies to enable enterprises make better use of their knowledge resources.Design/methodology/approachThe study adopted an exploratory design method using thematic analysis and grounded theory, and semi-structured interviews were conducted to collect data. The interviewees consisted of employees in different positions, who come from Chinese real estate companies with different ranking ranges and different knowledge management levels. Data collection was divided into two rounds for the identification of transformation paths and influencing factors.FindingsThis study has shown that 11 paths about TKE divided into solidified organization process and construction of organizational infrastructure go into effect within the real estate companies. Factors influencing TKE in real estate companies concern three main categories: organizational distal factors, contextual proximal factors and individual factors, including 21 subordinates in total. Furthermore, correlation between TKE paths and influencing factors is established.Research limitations/implicationsResearch results may lack generalizability due to the method adopted. Therefore, researchers are encouraged to verify the outcomes of this research.Practical implicationsThis research provides a new idea and solutions for the tacit knowledge management in real estate companies.Originality/valueTo the best of the authors’ knowledge, this study is the first to systematically identify paths and the influencing factors of TKE in real estate companies, contribute to the incipient but growing understanding of achievement of “tacit to explicit” and enrich the corporate tacit knowledge management literature.

The transformation of the tacit knowledge of a company’s human resources into permanent organizational capital in spite of possible staff turnover is of business interest. This research focuses on the management of tacit knowledge to resolve labor incidents and reduce resolution times. We present the GESTAC model, a name derived from the first syllables of the Spanish words “gestión” (management) and “tácito” (tacit), which identifies, locates and rates people in the business domain capable of resolving a labor incident logged by a user employed by the company. In order to achieve its objective, the GESTAC model follows the tacit knowledge management paradigm, according to which tacit knowledge that could eventually resolve the logged incidents is identified, captured and stored in a permanent database, and then evaluated and disseminated to the people who have need of the knowledge. This could lead to the knowledge source being automatically rerated, and the entire process restarted. The aim is to contribute to the state of the art, showing that by applying tacit knowledge management to a specific domain the GESTAC model is able to reduce incident resolution times with respect to traditional systems. The model was prototyped (GESTAC_APP) using the multiagent systems paradigm.

Purpose The post-globalization epoch has placed academic institutions internationally in competitive situations where knowledgeable, effective and capable decisions have come to provide the comparative edge. Academia has turned to explicit – and even conceptualizing on tacit – knowledge management to elaborate a systematic approach to develop and sustain the intellectual capital needed to succeed, in response to the employment market demand for its products. To be able to do that, you must be able to visualize your organization as consisting of nothing but knowledge and knowledge flows. The use of web-based technologies in academic institutions for their diverse practices has been widespread in colleges and universities for several decades. These applications include surveying stakeholders, assessing classes, reporting on faculty development and assurance of learning (AoL) data to mention a few. Further advances have led to the integration of applications that not only enable the sharing of knowledge but which also support the reporting requirements necessary to obtain and retain accreditation, for example; likewise, satisfy the supply of intellectual capital to the employment marketplace. The purpose of this paper is to portray the relationship between AoL and accreditations at large in business schools, with the particular articulation of a modus operandi and relevant model that could facilitate curriculum improvement likewise. Design/methodology/approach Observational research (or field research) is a type of correlational (i.e. non-experimental) research in which a researcher observes ongoing behavior. There are a variety of types of observational research, each of which has both strengths and weaknesses. A select set of business schools and leading accreditation agencies have been observed and reported upon in pertinence with the expected practices and modus operandi toward assuring learning. Findings The use of web-based technologies in academic institutions for their diverse practices has been widespread in colleges and universities for several decades. These applications include surveying stakeholders, assessing classes, reporting on faculty development and AoL data to mention a few. Further advances have led to the integration of applications that not only enable the sharing of knowledge but which also support the reporting requirements necessary to obtain and retain accreditation; likewise, satisfy the supply of intellectual capital to the employment marketplace. In this paper, the author aims to portray the relationship between AoL and assessment at large with real-life examples and approaches. Research limitations/implications Observational research types are organized by the extent to which an experimenter intrudes upon or controls the environment. Observational research is particularly prevalent in the social sciences. It is a social research technique that involves the direct observation of phenomena in their natural setting. This differentiates it from experimental research in which a quasi-artificial environment is created to control for spurious factors, and where at least one of the variables is manipulated as part of the experiment. Henceforth, other research methods may be engaged in to quantify and investigate the phenomenon of AoL vs international practices reported upon as per internal and external forces acting on business schools. Practical implications The diversity of approaches followed by business schools and encouraged by accreditations agencies is immense and at times may be connected to the choices such schools make as to how they ought to measure the learning curves of their constituents. Herein, a practical AoL approach is transcribed, as liaised with assessment and evaluation data. Social implications Academia has turned to explicit – and even conceptualizing on tacit – knowledge management to elaborate a systematic approach to develop and sustain the intellectual capital needed to succeed, in response to the employment market demand for its academic products and services. To be able to do that, you must be able to visualize your organization as consisting of nothing but knowledge and knowledge flows. Originality/value This research is conceptualized upon as per the international standards and expectations from the field with an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business framework in mind and aims to link AoL to curriculum management and through e-Assessment in a practical manner.
