The objective of this short letter is to study the optimal partitioning of value stream networks into two classes so that the number of connections between them is maximized. Such kind of problems are frequently found in the design of different systems such as communication network configuration, and industrial applications in which certain topological characteristics enhance value–stream network resilience. The main interest is to improve the Max–Cut algorithm proposed in the quantum approximate optimization approach (QAOA), looking to promote a more efficient implementation than those already published. A discussion regarding linked problems as well as further research questions are also reviewed.

Purpose. The aim of this piece is to study the manifestations of humanistic pursuits in a literary fiction work. The main interest is related to the interpretation of those existential and sociocultural concepts that underlie the dystopian novel by Lois Lowry. The theoretical basis of the study is based on works on phenomenology and the theory of reader reception. The method of phenomenology is a descriptive method: the phenomena of consciousness cannot be reduced to limited cognitive forms, and therefore language and means of description are important along with their ability to reveal consciousness through phenomena. Originality of the study lies in the investigation of the humanistic aspect of a dystopian society, depicted in the modern literary fiction. The main attention is focused on the phenomenological identification of existential ideas and their manifestation in the literary characters of the given work. The conclusions speak about the tendencies of humanization and dehumanization of a man and society in the context of philosophical, ethical and aesthetic issues, which are the most important and urgent problems of our time. The current study finds out that in the modern dystopian literature and philosophy, the main subject of attention is a human. This human is perceived and depicted as a phenomenon that cannot be grasped by the notions of intimation and essence. The human is a creature whose freedom presupposes a constant departure from nature and habitual reality to the realm of transcendent through the desire to comprehend his or her certain way of existence.

As low weight at birth can be a marker for future risk factors for cardiovascular diseases, public school children who had this positive history were studied S to nutritional status, lipids, glucose, uric acid, blood pressure and socioeconomic conditions. The main interest of the investigation is to find statistically significant correlations among data collected from young public school children from a city outside of the capital of Sao Paulo in Brazil. Results: risk factors for metabolic syndrome presented higher impact considering blood pressure and socioeconomic conditions, calling for better prenatal care and surveillance plus intervention in the low weight at birth children.

Recently, due to the growing interest in powdered cellulosic materials, a large number of studies have been carried out on various methods of their preparation. The main interest is associated with new opportunities for research on nanocellulose. However, for a complete understanding, it is necessary to have information about all powdered cellulosic materials and the peculiarities of their preparation. This paper provides an overview of powdered cellulosic materials, presents their characteristics, and describes the properties of the materials. It is shown that the morphology of its fiber, as well as the ratio of crystalline and amorphous regions of cellulose, has a significant effect on the properties of the material. Peculiarities of obtaining powdered cellulose materials are discussed, depending on the required properties, and existing research in the field of mechanical, chemical and enzymatic processing of cellulose is presented. The main areas of application of various powdered cellulose materials are described, as well as the current situation on the market, examples of both domestic and foreign manufacturers are given. The information on powdered cellulose materials is generalized, their classification is given, which is consistent with the modern concepts described in the scientific works of researchers from all over the world.

This article represents an attempt to approach the notion of colonial discourse and photography more closely with the exigencies that put Morocco under the zoom of the colonial lens. This photographic documentation shows that nations, Morocco, in this case, were annexed to imperial powers through the utilization of various means of representation. This annexation was carried out not only by military officers, missionaries and spies but also by cartographers, travel writers and photographers who never ceased to polish the lens of their cameras so as to be able to represent indigenous identities, as well as their social lifestyles, and cultures. Therefore, the purpose of the present work is to sketch the colonial experience that links the imperializers with the imperialized through chronological documentation of colonial power and domination. Therefore, the main interest centres around the question of rereading this colonial history by analyzing and questioning colonial photography and its role in colonial expansion over Morocco. Besides, it is to unmask the alleged objective embedded in this country's 'civilizing mission'.

AbstractWe consider linear partial differential equations on resistance spaces that are uniformly elliptic and parabolic in the sense of quadratic forms and involve abstract gradient and divergence terms. Our main interest is to provide graph and metric graph approximations for their unique solutions. For families of equations with different coefficients on a single compact resistance space we prove that solutions have accumulation points with respect to the uniform convergence in space, provided that the coefficients remain bounded. If in a sequence of equations the coefficients converge suitably, the solutions converge uniformly along a subsequence. For the special case of local resistance forms on finitely ramified sets we also consider sequences of resistance spaces approximating the finitely ramified set from within. Under suitable assumptions on the coefficients (extensions of) linearizations of the solutions of equations on the approximating spaces accumulate or even converge uniformly along a subsequence to the solution of the target equation on the finitely ramified set. The results cover discrete and metric graph approximations, and both are discussed.

Literature confirms that building a research identity forms the basis of good supervision. Also confirms that, it takes time and commitment, but every good supervisor needs to be a scholar in their field. The study’s main interest was quality value added to doctoral candidates as established researchers and how supervisors’ research identity transferred to doctoral students? In addition, the researcher wished to establish the supervisor’s responses to research identity and application thereof. A qualitative research study was used with a purposive sample of 10 doctoral supervisors at the time of research, were designated using knowledgeable sampling technique. Bourdieu’s homo academicus theory of cultural capital was used to frame academic identities of fit for purpose. Open-ended questionnaire was used to collect data from the participants. The data collected was analyzed using thematic analysis. This study reveals that active participation of supervisors in research is critical, as that is how good quality in research can be measured. The findings also revealed that role and responsibilities of doctoral supervisors could be derived from taking part in research and willingness to learn from others open for training, collaborations and supervision developments in order to develop their research identity in academia.

The paper proposes a protection to dual stator generator, reluctance rotor, from asymmetrical fault. Which prevents the dual stator generator, reluctance rotor, from electrical sage through working process in order to avoid any interruption in the generator-grid connection. The procedure consummated with injecting suitable reactive power during the fault period. The proposed method that makes it possible for wind turbine application via dual stator winding generators (DSWRG) synchronous mod to stay connected to the grid during asymmetrical faults. It has been built according to trusted simulating mode considering all tested parameters according to experiment work. The expirment, consider the DC link side stability and care about the behavior and performance of machine side parameter. As well the machineability is evaluated to ride through asymmetrical fault by observing the secondary side current which has a big role in saving grid side converter. The control takes a response within 200 ms after fault trigger recognition. The generator ability of dynamically remaining connected stable and existing in the network, which is sustained a series voltage disturbance by injecting appropriate amount of reactive power. The main interest required in this paper is the capability of a machine to overcome the asymmetrical fault.

Abstract In this paper our main interest is to introduce a new type of generalized open sets defined in terms of an operation on a generalized topological space. We have studied some properties of this newly defined sets. As an application, we have introduced some weak separation axioms and discussed some of their properties. Finally, we have studied some preservation theorems in terms of some irresolute functions.
