Dinoflagellate-cyst based biostratigraphy is an important tool in the stratigraphical subdivision and correlation of the Neogene Lake Pannon deposits. A total of 66 palynological samples were investigated from the Pannonian (upper Miocene) marl succession exposed in the Pécs-Danitzpuszta sand pit in order to evaluate the biostratigraphical assignment and constrain the age of the strata. Earlier attempts to recover dinoflagellate cysts from this important reference section had failed. In our material, six samples contained well-preserved palynomorphs. One sample from the lower part of the succession (D25) contained a probably reworked middle Miocene assemblage. Samples from the middle segment of the succession (D3, D2, D1) indicate the Pontiadinium pecsvaradensis Zone (ca. 10.8 to 10.6 Ma). Samples from the top of the marl (D219, D221) did not give additional stratigraphic information (P. pecsvaradensis Zone or younger). The palynofacies of samples D3 to D221 indicates a relatively distal, calm, occasionally oxygen-deficient, probably deep depositional environment.

Abstract Background Middle segment-preserving pancreatectomy (MSPP) is an alternative to total pancreatectomy that allows for the preservation of the endocrine and exocrine functions of the pancreas. However, maintaining perfusion to the pancreatic remnant is of critical importance. We describe the first case to our knowledge in which indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence was used to confirm perfusion to the pancreatic remnant during MSPP. Case presentation A 79-year-old man with diabetes mellitus was referred to our hospital for treatment of a pancreatic tumor. Computed tomography revealed a hypovascular mass in the uncus of the pancreas and dilatation of the main pancreatic duct, measuring 13 mm in the tail of the pancreas. He was diagnosed with cancer of the pancreatic uncus via endoscopic ultrasound and fine-needle aspiration revealed a mixed-type intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN), along with high-risk stigmata in the tail of the pancreas. We performed MSPP and the length of the pancreatic remnant was 4.6 cm. The dorsal pancreatic artery was preserved and perfusion to the pancreatic remnant was confirmed by ICG fluorescence. Histopathological examination showed a pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma in the uncus (pT1cN1M0, pStage 2B) and IPMN in the tail of the pancreas. The postoperative course was complicated by a grade B pancreatic fistula, but this was successfully treated with conservative management. The patient was transferred to a hospital 33 days after surgery. Insulin administration was necessary, but C-peptide was detectable and blood glucose was relatively well-controlled. He did not exhibit any exocrine dysfunction when pancreatic enzyme supplementation was administered. Conclusion ICG fluorescence can be used to evaluate perfusion to the pancreatic remnant during MSPP.

Modification method was applied in this research in which the test time span was unequal. The river chosen in this study is the Citepus River, Bandung, Indonesia representing an urban river in a tropical country. </span><span>Methodology and Results:</span><span> Sampling was carried out in the dry season. The laboratory analysis method used in determining the rate of deoxygenation uses the Slope Method of data from the short term incubation, which is ten days. The results showed that the Thomas Slope method's deoxygenation rate (K1) was 0.095 per day in the upstream segment, 0.917 per day in the middle segment, and 0.180 per day in the downstream segment. While the Ultimate BOD (La) value is 46.95 mg/l in the upstream segment, 38.70 mg/l in the middle segment, and 37.60 mg/l in the downstream segment. </span><span>Conclusion, significance, and impact of study:</span><span> The results of this study show that the value of the deoxygenation rate is similar to the theoretical surface water conditions. However, in the upstream segment, there is still a low deoxygenation rate value due to non-optimal activity of microorganisms. This findings will be very useful both in water quality modeling and river management.</span></span>

Abstract Background The colon is among the best options to substitute the oesophagus; it is well known for its durability and good function that makes it most suitable for paediatric patients. The steps of the procedure, postoperative complications, and outcome assessment were thoroughly discussed in previous reports. However, in this report, we have tried to focus on one basic and essential step of the operation, which is fashioning of the colonic flap used to substitute the oesophagus. Results The study included 50 consecutive paediatric cases who underwent colonic replacement of the oesophagus during the period 2010 through 2020. The indication for oesophageal replacement was either oesophageal atresia (27 cases) or corrosive strictures (23 cases). Our standard technique was using a middle segment of the colon (transverse colon) based on the left colic vessels (vascular pedicle) after ligation of middle colic vessels. Variations of the middle colic vessels were encountered that included single, double, or absent vessels. In a single case (2%), the middle colic vessels were multiple, short, and non-branching with interrupted continuity of marginal vessels at that point. In the latter situation, we had to use a different technique by fashioning a right colonic flap based on the middle colic vessels. Conclusion In colonic replacement of the oesophagus, preparing a pedicled flap from the transverse colon based on the left colic vessels was almost always feasible owing to the stable collateral marginal vessels. On a rare occasion, the marginal vessels were interrupted by disturbed anatomy of the middle colic vessels when we had to shift to another technique using a right colonic flap.

Objective To study the characteristics of point-by-point destruction of white matter tracts in patients using automated fiber tract quantification (AFQ). Methods Thirty-four classic trigeminal neuralgia (CTN) patients and 34 healthy control (HC) subjects underwent 3.0 T diffusion tensor magnetic resonance imaging and T1-weighted imaging. The fractional anisotropy (FA) and mean diffusivity (MD) of 100 nodes of 20 fiber tracts were analyzed by AFQ, and the correlations of the FA and MD with the visual analogue scale (VAS) pain score were assessed. Results The FA values of the left thalamic radiation (middle segment), left corticospinal tract, callosum forceps minor, and right uncinate fasciculus were significantly lower in CTN patients than in the HC group. The MD of the left thalamic tract (middle segment), left corticospinal tract, right superior longitudinal fasciculus, and left superior longitudinal fasciculus (anterior segment) were significantly higher in the CTN group. Additionally, the VAS pain score in CTN patients was positively correlated with FA and negatively correlated with MD. Conclusion Specific fiber tract nodes were damaged in CTN patients, which was related to the VAS pain score. Multi-node quantitative studies of fiber tract damage are valuable for understanding the white matter tract damage pattern in CTN patients.

Purpose This article aims to present all aspects regarding patient selection, planning, and implantation technique for a new off-the-shelf pre-cannulated multi-inner branch stent graft. The stent graft comes in 4 different versions with proximal diameters of 33 and 38 mm and distal diameters of 26 and 30 mm. The 4 inner branches are located in the middle segment, which has a diameter of 24 mm. Technique With inner branch technology, the field of application for the treatment of thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms (TAAA) has been further extended. In addition to routine use in elective cases the pre-cannulation of the inner branches predisposes especially for emergencies. Pre-cannulation is intended to reduce the time to cannulation and the radiation dose. All steps of planning, stent-graft deployment, and cannulation of the inner branches are described in detail. Conclusion The E-nside stent graft represents a promising new endovascular therapy in the treatment of acute and elective TAAA. By using inner branch technology, this endograft combines the advantages of fenestrated and branched stent grafts. Indication, planning, and implantation require experience in branched and fenestrated stent graft technology.

In terms of the contribution of public expenditure, it appears that the 20% group (upper class) reaches 45.49% of the total national consumption, the 40% group (middle class) contributes 36.78%, and the 40% group (lower class) only contributes 17%. Middle and upper income groups whose income is not disturbed tend to choose to save rather than spend their money, considering that no one knows when the Covid-19 pandemic will end and when the situation will return to normal. Deflation in July and August 2020 was triggered more by falling prices for a number of food, beverage and transportation groups, indicating the large demand in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The decline in spending amid the Covid-19 pandemic is mainly triggered by the weakening of the purchasing power of the lower class and the tendency of the upper middle segment to withhold spending resulting in further pressure on the income of small and medium enterprises. Based on the results of the ADB survey, it can be seen that 61.1% of MSMEs in Indonesia reduced the number of workers in March 2020, 59.8% of MSMEs reduced workers in March 2020, and 59.8% of MSMEs reduced workers in April 2020.With a contribution of 61.1% to Gross Domestic Product, the recovery of the ultra-micro and MSME sectors is very urgent amidst the pressure of the Covid-19 pandemic. Ultra-micro financing based on digital technology is intended to accelerate penetration and financial inclusion, considering that ultra-micro business actors still have difficulty accessing bank financing due to various factors, such as not having a bank account
