As a result of the Covid-19 outbreak, libraries must change their habits and order in providing library services. Library services, which were initially carried out in person or on the spot, were turned into online services to facilitate and provide convenience for users and librarians. PurposeIn this paper, the moderating roles of leader reward omission and person–supervisor fit in the relationship between job autonomy and knowledge hiding are investigated.Design/methodology/approachUsing a sample of 248 employees in a two-wave survey, we performed a hierarchical regression analysis to test the hypotheses.FindingsThe results revealed that employees with high job autonomy were less likely to engage in knowledge hiding. Moreover, when employees experienced leader reward omission, the negative relationship between job autonomy and knowledge hiding was weakened, and this interesting effect varied by person–supervisor fit.Research limitations/implicationsThis study does not explore the mediating mechanism by which job autonomy affects employee knowledge hiding. Moreover, as this research was conducted in a Chinese context, the generalizability of our findings is unclear.Practical implicationsThis research has fulfilled its practical aims by providing advice on knowledge-relevant job characteristic factors that can be used to stage interventions regarding the provision of autonomy in jobs, and by carefully considering how to create interdependence between jobs without pushing people to engage in knowledge-hiding behaviors. Furthermore, it is important for leaders to help employees identify work goals and directions and not engage in reward omission.Originality/valueThis study contributes to theoretical advancements in the field of knowledge hiding by revealing boundary conditions that mitigate or enhance the impact of job autonomy on knowledge hiding.

Data was collected by documentation based on the value of the employee work goals in 2020 which was then analyzed using statistical path analysis. Subsequently, the second phase was carried out using the qualitative method by collecting data through interviews, participant observation and documentation related to work behavior, teaching work goals, research, community service, and job performance of civil servants lecturers at Mulawarman University. The birth of a child marks the beginning of a new developmental period for the parents. These changes have positive but also negative aspects, such as the increase in fatigue experienced by mothers during this period of time, which can be very limiting and lead them to postpone other life or work goals. However, despite the widespread nature of this problem, there is a lack of information about the duration of this fatigue, with estimates ranging from three months to six years; this prevents mothers from planning this period of their lives adequately. The current study evaluated fatigue in a Spanish sample of 67 women with infants less than two years old and drew a comparison with another sample of 46 women with similar characteristics who were not caring for an infant at that time in order to determine the differences between them and how fatigue in the former group evolves depending on the age of the infant. The results show that fatigue is effectively maintained until at least two years after the birth of the infant.

This study aims to analyze whether self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation, and extrinsic motivation can influence employee performance. The analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method using the AMOS version 24. The sample amounted to 200 people who are employees of various sectors of private companies in the Jabodetabek area. The results showed that self-efficacy led to increased employee performance. The higher self-efficacy in work, the employee performance will increase. Meanwhile, the motivation that affects employee performance is extrinsic, not intrinsic motivation. Extrinsic motivation is a mediator that strengthens the effect of self-efficacy on employee performance. The implication for the company is that the company must continue to improve the self-efficacy of employees through managers provides counseling continuously to employees in determining work goals/targets following KSA (knowledge, skills, and abilities). In addition, managers also need to assign clear, detailed, and measurable tasks to employees. In a pandemic like now, extrinsic motivation must be focused more. Various forms of extrinsic motivation that managers can do, such as: creating attractive incentive/bonus/ commission programs, giving praise to employees who have completed tasks, and giving recognition for good employee work. Further research can add variables that mediate the effect of self-efficacy on employee performance such as creativity variables, and the addition of independent variables such as transformational leadership that can affect selfefficacy, or add moderator variables such as job levels.

This first chapter explains what psychosis is. Psychosis is a treatable mental illness. For many people with first-episode psychosis, symptoms begin to clear up partially or completely within weeks of starting treatment. Although the symptoms of psychosis may be frightening to the individual and his or her family, there are treatments for these symptoms. First-episode psychosis is the period of time when a person first begins to experience psychosis. It is during this time that young people and their families need detailed information about the initial evaluation and treatment. People who get into treatment earlier often do better. In many places, specialty treatment programs now exist that specifically focus on first-episode psychosis. Those programs often provide treatments designed to help young people get back on track in terms of school and work goals.

Finishing high school, going off to college, and getting a first job are visible signs of adult independence and set the foundation for future employment, income, and achievements. Though some may think that going back to school or work could be too stressful for a young person who has recently experienced a first episode of psychosis, psychosocial treatments called supported employment and supported education have been shown to be beneficial. These specialized supports help many young people get back into school, find and keep a job, or pursue both school and work goals. Doing well in school, or going to work, gives one a sense of purpose and achievement. These are important steps in recovery that can be achieved with the right supports from family, friends, and mental health professionals.
