This study aimed to determine the effect of zakat empowerment with MSMEs on the economic people empowerment according to the mustahik perceptions. This research used descriptive analysis with Cartesian coordinate approach. The results showed that the quality of LAZISMU in the MSMEs empowerment program in each dimension of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy was almost entirely good quality. The tangible dimension can be shown through the ease of procedures for submitting assistance and the period of its realization. The suitability between everything described by the officer with the reality on the reliable dimension is the main priority factor. The politeness, friendliness and communication skill of officers in the empathy dimension are factors that must be maintained. While transparency in providing information on survey results on the assurance dimension is a low priority factor. The monitoring on the impact of empowerment on the responsiveness dimension and the strategic location of the LAZISMU office on the tangible dimension was considered excessive. There is an effect of zakat empowerment with MSMEs on increasing the people's economic income in terms of service quality according to the perceptions of mustahik. This research suggests LAZISMU Magetan for accelerates the realization of assistance proposals and the ease in applying for assistance.

In the process of manipulating agroecosystems, man adopts strategies that often conflict with those of the nature by imposing its interests and objectives to increase the food and fiber production. As a result, populations of certain species of herbivores, such as insects and mites phytophagous, become numerically so high that they damage the crops to the point of reducing their productivity and, consequently, their economic income. The aim of the mini review is to provide a bibliographic summary of parasitoids of the Order Hymenoptera collected from insect pests in Brazil. The research was carried out in studies related to the theme with emphasis on the quantitative aspects of the genera, and species (Taxonomic groups). A bibliographic search was carried out that contained papers published from 1998 to June 2021. The mini review was prepared in Goiânia, Goiás from March to June 2021 using the Electronic Scientific Library Online (Scielo) and internet. Thus, biological control aims to reduce the population level of a species classified as a pest, keeping it below the level in which it is capable of causing economic harm.

Abstract Objective: This study examines the demographic characteristics of patients and caregivers hospitalized with NAFLD and the impact of patient anxiety and depression on caregiver burden. Methods : One hundred and forty-five patients with NAFLD and their caregivers were studied. Both patients and family members were required to complete a general information questionnaire, patients were required to complete the Generalized Anxiety Scale (GAD-7), the Patient Health Depression Questionnaire Scale (PHQ-9), and caregivers were required to complete the Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI). Descriptive analysis, univariate analysis, and multiple stepwise regression were used to analyze the effects of each factor on caregiver burden. Results: The results of the univariate analysis showed that patients' marital status, chronic illness, GAD-7, and PHQ-9 scores, and caregivers' literacy, relationship with patients, full-time caregiving, recreational activities, daily caregiving hours, and monthly economic income were influential factors of caregiver burden (P < 0.05). The multiple stepwise regression analysis results showed that the four factors of concluding patient's PHQ-9 score, caregiver-patient relationship, daily caregiving hours, and monthly economic income significantly influenced caregiver burden (P < 0.05). Conclusion: caregiver-patient relationship, length of caregiving per day, and monthly financial income affect caregiver burden. In addition, depression in patients hospitalized with NAFLD is one of the main influencing factors of caregiver burden and should be taken seriously.

ABSTRACT Objectives: Depression is prevalent among older persons, which seriously threatens their life satisfaction. This study aimed to explore the internal mechanisms by which depression influences life satisfaction among the elderly, as well as the mediating and moderating effects of ostracism and economic income, respectively, in a sample of rural older adults across China. Design: This was a cross-sectional survey conducted as part of the project “Thousands of People and Hundreds of Villages (2019).” Setting: Participants were rural older adults from 31 provincial-level administrative units across China. Participants: The sample composed of 1,754 participants aged 60 years and over. Measurements: Depression was assessed with the depression subscale of the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales, life satisfaction with the Satisfaction with Life Scale, ostracism with the Ostracism Experience Scale (OES), and economic income and other control variables with related demographic scales. Moderation and mediation analyses were performed using the regression-based approach as conducted by Hayes (2013). Results: Depression negatively predicted life satisfaction among the elderly. Ostracism played a partially mediating role between depression and life satisfaction. Economic income moderated the effect of depression and ostracism on life satisfaction: High economic income weakened the negative effect of depression on life satisfaction and enhanced the negative effect of ostracism on life satisfaction. Conclusion: Improving depressed elderly people’s interpersonal relationships and financial support could improve their life satisfaction.

Abstract Evaluating the sustainability of vegetable production is crucial to secure future food supply. A two-year field study of four different vegetable crops was performed to investigate the effects of inorganic fertilizer and human feces slurry at different ratios on vegetable yields, reactive gaseous nitrogen emissions (GNrEs), reactive nitrogen (Nr) footprint and net ecosystem-economic income (NEEI) by using life-cycle analysis. Four fertilization strategies were studied, including: CK (no fertilization); CF (inorganic fertilization); CHF1 (human feces slurry/inorganic fertilizer, N ratio=1:7); and CHF2 (human slurry/inorganic fertilizer, N ratio=1:3). Results showed that compared with CF treatment, both CHF1 and CHF2 treatments increased the N2O+NO emissions by 11.8 % and 32.4 % on average, while decreased the vegetable yields by 6.7 % and 7.4 %, respectively. Moreover, the addition of human feces slurry increased the proportions of Nr footprint by 6.6 % (CHF1) and 2.9 % (CHF2) in comparison with CF treatment group. However, although CHF2 treatment significantly increased the values of GNrEs and reactive gaseous nitrogen intensity (GNrI) by 8.4 % and 12.5 %, respectively, in relation to those in CF treatment group, it still increased farmers’ income by 16,404 CNY ha−1. These findings suggest that although human feces slurry incorporation could not mitigate Nr releases, the appropriate ratio of inorganic fertilizer and human feces slurry (CHF2) is able to improve net economic income (NEI) and NEEI during intensive vegetable production. Nevertheless, the relationship between combinatorial treatment of inorganic fertilizer and human feces slurry and mitigation of Nr release should be explored further.
