The article provides data on the development of a new thickening composition for printing cotton-lye fabric with antibacterial properties based on biodegradable polymers Chitosan synthesized from Apis Mellifera bee dead with CMC with addition of CMC and synthetic hydrolyzed acrylic emulsion. Studied the fungicidal properties of the developed mixed thickener for active dyes used in printing fabrics. As a result of observations, it was revealed that these new thickeners on the basis of exhibit pronounced antimicrobial activity in relation to the micelle fungus Aspergillus terreus. The optical density of the samples shows that these thickeners are resistant to mycelial fungi. Among thickeners, thickeners based on Uzhitan-?MS-HAE, Uzkhitan-CMS have the most pronounced bactericidal activity, and these thickeners are more stable, they can be used the next day and even on the second day for printing mixed fabrics.

Styrene acrylic emulsions (SAEs) have emerged as a promising material for water-based coatings. However, they are still limited by their own defects in practical applications, poor weatherability, and degradation of performance at lower or higher temperatures. Here, we introduce a facile approach to producing fluorescent carbon quantum dots (CQDs) from wood processing residues and fabricating fluorescent CQD/SAE coating films via emulsion-casting. The addition of the fluorescent CQDs enhanced the optical performance of the CQD/SAE coating films. The fluorescent CQDs were prepared via a hydrothermal approach and were obtained after heating at 180 °C for 6 h at a reaction concentration of 50 mg/mL. The synthesized CQDs resulted in a high fluorescence, and the CQDs had an average size of 1.63 nm. Various concentrations of the fluorescent CQDs were doped into the SAE coating film, which improved its optical properties. We also characterized and discussed the products and then explored their optical properties. This study presents the potential of fluorescent CQD/SAE coating films for applications in anti-counterfeiting coatings, fluorescent adhesives, and papermaking.

To improve the ecological protection of coal gangue slopes, this work developed a polymer curing agent using a pure acrylic emulsion and cement as the main raw materials. By testing the workability, waterproofing, durability, and adhesion of the curing agent with different polymer-to-cement ratios, the optimum mixing ratio of the polymer curing agent was obtained, and the protection mechanism was analysed based on the test results and by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Then, simulated slope and practical engineering applications were carried out. The results show that pure acrylic emulsion curing agent with a polymer-to-cement ratio of 6 : 5 is most suitable for the ecological protection of coal gangue slopes. The polymer curing agent can form a network structure film layer with a good waterproofing effect on the coal gangue surface. Simultaneously, the network structure film layer can reduce the influence of weathering and leaching on the coal gangue, prevent the heavy metal elements in coal gangue from entering the surrounding soil, improve the growth environment of plants, and improve the effect of ecological restoration. This research can be applied to the ecological protection of coal gangue slopes.

Abstract In this article, in order to reduce the consumption of starch for gluing warp threads and reduce the cost of sizing materials used in sizing and improve the quality of threads, an effective gluing composition was created based on a hydrolyzed acrylic emulsion (GAE) and uzkhitan (chitosan and carboxymethyl cellulose), that is, corn starch polymer and studied their rheological properties. In the article, the main threads passing through the gluing process and moving at a certain speed, which are then impregnated with liquid gluing. Then they pass through a nip roller and a drying drum, are subjected to friction and form a layer of a certain thickness. A theoretical analysis of the surface of the warp threads is carried out to determine the change in the diameter of the threads when a layer of a certain thickness is formed on their surface.
