The idea to write music for silent films, both in a form of written-down scores and composed live has experienced its renaissance for more than ten years. Thanks to a quite decent number of preserved theatre instruments and also due to the globalisation and wide data flow options connected with it, the knowledge and interest in Anglo-Saxon tradition of organ accompaniment in cinema were able to spread away from its place of origin. The article is the third part of four attempts to present the phenomenon of combination of the art of organ improvisation with cinematography and it was based on the fragments of the doctoral thesis entitled “Current methods of organ improvisation as performance means in the accompaniment for silent films based on the selected musical and visual work”. The dissertation was written under the supervision of prof. dr hab. Elżbieta Karolak and was defended at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań in 2020. The article focuses on the profile of Robert Hope-Jones, an eccentric creator of cinema organ. It describes the period preceding the time when typical theatre instruments called “Mighty Wurlitzer” acquired their final shape, i.e., from the introduction of first electromagnetic tracture innovations in England, to the establishment of Hope Jones’s collaboration with the Wurlitzer company in the United States of America and the creation of instruments of the Unit Organ type.

The work deals with the technology of metal machining with a focus on the technology of broaching the internal shaped surfaces. The design of the drawing tools is a tool with several cutting edges, whereby the final shape of the inner shaped surface is made for one rectilinear movement of the tool. The cost of broaching tools is higher. For these reasons, the broaching technology is suitable for series production. One part of the paper covers the research of the achieved roughness of the internal grooves when changing the cutting environment, an emulsion was used instead of oil. The second part involves the use of statistical methods in the technology of broaching internal contoured surfaces. The research is focused on the machine capability. The results of measuring the accuracy of the tolerated dimension of the inner holes after broaching are used as input values to this statistic.

Yagya kund has five parts - Khat, Nabhi, Kant, Mekhla and Yoni. The construction of Yagya kund shall be done with proper consideration of all of its parts. The final shape and appearance of the Yagya kund came after the construction of Mekhala. Mekhala is an object which surrounds another object by keeping that object in the middle. For Yagya kund, Mekhala surrounds the fire pit which provides the shape to the Yagya kund.  The present paper attempts to describe the mathematical and scriptural aspects of Mekhala i.e. description of Mekhala and Khat, shape, number of Mekhala, and significance. The number of Mekhala varies by the size of Yagya Kund, the number of offerings, and the purpose of Yagya. The study also described the dimension of all types the Mekhala construction for 1 hast Kund indicating the important role of Mekhala in the Yagya Kund construction.

The article presents an analysis of flexible graphene antenna arrays, which has shown the promise of using a folded dipole antenna as an element of such array. The structure of the flexible folded dipole operating at a frequency of 5,8 GHz on a photo-paper substrate is considered. Simulation yields a gain of 2,53 dBi with a final efficiency of 75% and | S 11| -31,82 dB. The influence of bending on the final shape of the radiation pattern is considered, as well as the value and position of the minimum of the | S 11|. The gain of a linear three-element graphene flexible antenna array based on a folded flexible dipole is 5,78 dBi.

Abstract Using the commercial finite element software ProCAST to predict the temperature field, the flow field, the turbulent kinetic energy, and melt-pool outlet temperature of the top side-pouring twin-roll casting (TSTRC) of 6.5 wt.% Si steel process, and the cellular automaton–finite element (CA-FE) method was used to simulate the melt-pool outlet microstructure. The effect of different process conditions on the TSTRC process was investigated through numerical simulation and a processing technic appropriate for the production of 6.5 wt.% Si steel was obtained. Meanwhile, the influence of violent stirring in the melt-pool on the microstructure under different process conditions was evaluated. It was found that vigorous stirring in the melt-pool was conducive to formate the equiaxed crystal structure. Not only realized the near-final shape of the metal sheet, but also realized the near-final shape of the microstructure. Chose the proper process to experiment, and from comparing the simulation and the experiment, the simulation and experimental results were in good agreement, which verified the simulation's feasibility and accuracy.

The manufacturing of oval tubes for automotive components from sheets consists of several steps, from the flat sheet to a tube with expanded ends. It involves roll-bending of tubes, welding and several expansion processes with segmented tools. Forming steps in this process are subject to springback after the release of tools. Finite-element-simulations offer an efficient method to predict the springback behavior. For the industrial application it is important to identify the processes which contribute significantly to springback. At first glance one might expect that the consideration of the whole process chain is required to predict the final shape of such tubes. It turns out, that springback is related to the later stages of the process. The difference in springback behavior of circular and oval tubes is investigated. A simulation model is validated on the basis of experiments for circular tubes and applied to predict the final shape of oval tubes. This offers the perspective to adjust the tooling design at an earlier design stage to respect all the influences in the process on the final geometry and therefore meet tighter tolerances.

The cemetery areas, which are shaped in line with the beliefs and traditions of every society, are generally idle in our country; they have become places that cannot nourish neither the human soul nor the city of which they once had a memory. However, cemetery areas are considered as a dynamic part of the urban landscape and it is clear that if all the processes are planned correctly from the site selection decision to the final shape it will have, it will have a positive effect on the city. In this context, the current spatial and design conditions of six city cemeteries in Altınordu district in Ordu province were analyzed and a survey study was conducted to learn the expectations of the visitors. In addition, evaluations were made on the need for cemetery in Ordu city center. As a result of the study, it was found that the existing cemeteries have spatial adequacy, but they need appropriate spatial arrangements in order to contribute to urban landscape.
