Paradigm changes also change the sources of corporate finance. The goal of this chapter is to demonstrate how the sociological changes that will be created by technological developments transform the sources of finance within the framework of “sustainability” and “financial inclusion.” At this point, the basic elements of the financial system in the transition from traditional financing to alternative financing and to platform-based financing, albeit a new one, are examined. For this purpose, first of all, traditional financing sources and alternative financing sources are briefly mentioned, and then platform-ecosystem-based financing sources, which are the main subject of the study, are shed light on. The sources of financing provided through FinTechs are examined within the framework of digital finance-digital inclusion and online finance models (especially crowdfunding). The changes that the COVID-19 process may create in financial resources and the digital technologies it may bring are also assessed.

Tourism has been recognized as a delight for attraction, accommodation, culture, recreation, and more. The tourism industry has become a major source of revenue for many businesses and for nations as a whole as part of the service sector. The unusual outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic is the sole disruptive circumstance for the last several months. Due to the unprecedented situation, there is a chance for new travel trends to emerge in the nation. This chapter describes the emerging new normal tourism and travel trends like a staycation, wellness and spa tourism, virtual tourism, sustainable travel, eco-tourism, vaccine tourism, and also aims at finding tourist preferences of destinations from the new travel trends post pandemic. Travellers today would like to visit destinations consisting of nature protected regions, which are termed sustainable travel, to satisfy their ecotravel, money value, private space, social distance, security, accessibility, and cleanliness needs.

Currently, the ongoing paradigm change requires both opening up the main provisions formulated by T. Kuhn and their further development. The article formulates the signs of scientific revolutions and the necessary conditions for their implementation. The history of the new paradigm is given and the periodicity in its emergence is revealed. A conclusion is made about the need to create a new research direction - Parametry. Areas of research are indicated, which scientific results will lead to new scientific revolutions in the foreseeable future.

This review aims at proposing to the field an overview of the Cusp-core problem, including a discussion of its advocated solutions, assessing how each can satisfactorily provide a description of central densities. Whether the Cusp-core problem reflects our insufficient grasp on the nature of dark matter, of gravity, on the impact of baryonic interactions with dark matter at those scales, as included in semi-analytical models or fully numerical codes, the solutions to it can point either to the need for a paradigm change in cosmology, or to to our lack of success in ironing out the finer details of the ΛCDM paradigm.

Background Utilization of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support in the post-cardiotomy setting is vital to successful perioperative outcomes following pediatric cardiac surgery. Specific analysis of protocolized management strategies and staff preparedness is imperative to optimizing institutional ECMO outcomes. Methods All patients requiring post-cardiotomy ECMO support at a single institution from 2013 to 2019 were retrospectively reviewed. In 2015, several modifications were made to the ECMO support paradigm that addressed deficiencies in equipment, critical care protocols, and staff preparedness. Cases were stratified according to era of ECMO support; patients supported prior to paradigm change from 2013 to 2015 (Group EARLY, n = 20), and patients supported following the implementation of systematic modifications from 2016 to 2019 (Group LATE, n = 26). The primary outcomes of interest were survival to decannulation and hospital discharge. Results Median age at cannulation was 24.5 days (IQR 7-96) and median duration of support was 4 days (IQR 2-8). Overall survival to decannulation was 78.3% (65% EARLY vs. 88.5% LATE, P = .08) and overall survival to hospital discharge was 58.7% (35% EARLY vs. 76.9% LATE, P = .004). Conclusion Systematic modifications to ECMO support strategy and staff preparation are associated with a significant increase in perioperative survival for pediatric patients requiring post-cardiotomy ECMO support.

The article is devoted to the management training of chiefs of medical organizations, in which a paradigm change has taken place: from the organizer of health care to the manager of health care. The author reveals topical problems and offers his own vision of their solution. The main aspects of this process are the formation of a manager's model, the creation of a system for training and formation of a personnel reserve, continuous training of these categories, as well as the introduction of an assessment of the quality and effectiveness of managers' activities. The author pays close attention to the technology and resource provision of managerial training for chiefs of medical organizations at the Postgraduate Institute for Public Health Workers

For almost the entire period of the last two decades, translational research in the area of integrin-targeting radiopharmaceuticals was strongly focused on the subtype αvβ3, owing to its expression on endothelial cells and its well-established role as a biomarker for, and promoter of, angiogenesis. Despite a large number of translated tracers and clinical studies, a clinical value of αvβ3-integrin imaging could not be defined yet. The focus of research has, thus, been moving slowly but steadily towards other integrin subtypes which are involved in a large variety of tumorigenic pathways. Peptidic and non-peptidic radioligands for the integrins α5β1, αvβ6, αvβ8, α6β1, α6β4, α3β1, α4β1, and αMβ2 were first synthesized and characterized preclinically. Some of these compounds, targeting the subtypes αvβ6, αvβ8, and α6β1/β4, were subsequently translated into humans during the last few years. αvβ6-Integrin has arguably attracted most attention because it is expressed by some of the cancers with the worst prognosis (above all, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma), which substantiates a clinical need for the respective theranostic agents. The receptor furthermore represents a biomarker for malignancy and invasiveness of carcinomas, as well as for fibrotic diseases, such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), and probably even for Sars-CoV-2 (COVID-19) related syndromes. Accordingly, the largest number of recent first-in-human applications has been reported for radiolabeled compounds targeting αvβ6-integrin. The results indicate a substantial clinical value, which might lead to a paradigm change and trigger the replacement of αvβ3 by αvβ6 as the most popular integrin in theranostics.
