This research aims to find out the magnitude of the influence of the principal's leadership on the motivation of teacher work in the Private MA Nururrodhiyah Kota Jambi. This research is a quantitative study using correlational research design, while data analysis techniques use normality and product moment correlation tests. The results of this study found that the sample of principals in 20 teachers who were sampled obtained an average score of 70, a median of 72,625, a mode of 72 with a standard deviation of 13,265. While the results of teacher work motivation from the data obtained an average score of 77.8, median of 77.5, mode of 74.5, and standard deviation of 27.72. The product moment correlation test rxy = 0.976 is greater than rtabel so it is known that at the significance level of 5% = 0.444 and at the significance level of 1% = 0.561 then Ho was rejected and Ha accepted.

In recent years, many studies have been done to identify the factors that affect teacher emotions at schools. However, the empirical evidence on how teachers’ emotions influence students’ outcomes and performance is not extensive. Against this background, this study explored the correlation between teacher EI and student academic achievement and possible mechanisms may lie in this relationship. A sample of 365 Chinese teachers from 25 public middle schools participated in this study by completing measurements of teacher EI, teacher work engagement, and teacher self-efficacy. The student academic achievement was assessed by the grades of the previous term (February to June 2020) reported by the students. The results indicated that teacher work engagement partially mediated the path from teacher EI and student academic achievement. Moderated mediation further showed that teachers with high self-efficacy had a more significant positive impact on the relationship between teacher work engagement and student academic achievement than teachers with low self-efficacy. The limitations of this study were also discussed.

This research aims to determine and analyze; (1) description of the principal's leadership behavior and the teacher's work experience towards the motivation of the achievement of religious teachers; (2) influence of the principal's leadership behavior on the motivation of teacher achievement; (3) the relationship between the teacher's work experience and the motivation of the teacher's performance; (4) Influence of the principal's leadership behavior and teacher work experience on the motivation of the teacher's religious achievement. The study used descriptive analysis survey methods, with a sample of 35 religious teachers and used correlation and regression analysis. The results of the study found that the magnitude of the simultaneous influence between the principal's leadership behavior (X1) and the teacher's work experience (X2) on the teacher's achievement motivation (Y) was 0.746 which was classified as weak. Meanwhile, the simultaneous contribution of the variables (X1) and (X2) to (Y) = R2 x100% or 0.7462 x 100% = 55.7% and the remaining 44.3% is determined by other variables. Then the rise and fall or the size of achievement motivation can be predicted through the regression equation: = 19.766 + 0.2213x1 + 0.9734x2. The results of this study can be drawn several sub-conclusions as follows: (1) the magnitude of the influence of the principal's leadership behavior variable (X1) on teacher achievement motivation (Y) is 0.606% while the contribution of the variable (X1) to (Y) is 36.72%. the remaining 63.28% is determined by other variables. (2) the magnitude of the influence of the teacher's work experience (X2) on the teacher's achievement motivation (Y) is 0.746% while the contribution of the variable (X2) to (Y) is 55.65% and the remaining 44.35% is determined by other variables. (3) the magnitude of the relationship between principal leadership behavior (X1) and teacher work experience (X2) is 0.609 then the contribution of variables (X1) and (X2) is 37.09% while the remaining 52.25%.

Abstract This study examines how employee perceptions of the availability and the (in)effectiveness of human resource (HR) practices in schools relate to employee performance via work engagement. Incorporating the views of 208 Dutch primary and secondary education teachers, this study's findings show that both the availability and effectiveness of HR practices are positively associated with teacher work engagement and in turn job performance. However, when employees perceive the available HR practices as effective, this has a stronger effect on teacher work engagement compared to when they only perceive the HR practices as available. Moreover, results show that HR practices that are mentioned as available, but considered ineffective, are negatively related to employee engagement and job performance. Finally, our results provide initial evidence for potential differential effects of ability-, motivation- and opportunity-enhancing HR bundles on work engagement and job performance, depending on whether the availability, ineffectiveness or effectiveness of HR practices is studied.

The research instrument is a Likert Scale model with five alternative answers that have been tested for validity and reliability using the SPSS application. Data analysis using the Product Moment correlation formula. The results showed that 1) school culture was in the good category with a score of 87.6%, 2) work motivation was in the very high category with a score of 90.2%, and 3) there was a significant relationship between school culture and teacher work motivation of 0.450 which belongs to the moderately correlated

The application of business ethics is a very important aspect and needs special attention, because the quality of good school services can be obtained if the application of business ethics runs effectively. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of business ethics and teacher work discipline to the quality of school services. The research method in this journal uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with a critical data analysis model based on data collection in the form of library research, namely the research method for collecting and analyzing data and references to texts/literature. Ethics refers to ordinary human conduct on what is permissible and what is not permissible. Discipline is a particular type or pattern of character developed by the habit of performing those acts, which can be formed by training the desired behavior patterns and expected behaviors in an attitude that leads to living performance. Service quality refers to all economic activities that generate results that meet prime expectations, whether physical goods or services (non-physical). Discipline is a particular type or pattern of character developed by the habit of performing those acts, which can be formed by training the desired behavior patterns and expected behaviors in an attitude that leads to living performance. Service quality refers to all economic activities that generate results that meet prime expectations, whether in the form of physical goods or services (non-physical). The results of this study indicate that the application of business ethics is in the high category. In addition, the influence of teacher work discipline on the quality of school services is in the medium category. Based on the research results, there are several recommendations that are needed to improve the effectiveness of quality management, including making continuous improvements and optimizing the total quality management (TQM) approach

Work engagement is widely acknowledged as an influential element in teachers’ professional success; thus, remarkable attention has been paid to the physical and psychological predictors of this construct. Yet, the antecedents of English as a foreign language (EFL) teachers’ work engagement have rarely been studied. To narrow the existing gap, the current inquiry aimed to delve into the psychological determinants of teacher work engagement by scrutinizing the role of psychological well-being and self-efficacy in Chinese EFL teachers’ engagement. To this end, three close-ended questionnaires were given to 304 Chinese EFL teachers via WeChat messenger. Conducting correlational analyses, positive and substantial relationships were discovered between psychological well-being, self-efficacy, and teaching engagement. The function that psychological well-being and self-efficacy may serve in Chinese EFL teachers’ engagement was also assessed using path analysis. Chinese EFL teachers’ work engagement was found to be considerably affected by their sense of efficacy and well-being. Some pedagogical implications that might be noteworthy for teachers and institutional administrators are finally discussed.
