This study examined the moderating role of environmental uncertainty on the connection between logistics flexibility, relationship flexibility, and logistics service quality. This study covered large and medium- sized companies operating in the Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone. Company lists were created based on records in the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry. A questionnaire was sent to a total of 1627 companies by e-mail and company managers were asked to fill in the online questionnaire. The managers of 356 companies fully completed the questionnaire. SPSS Process Macro V3.4 was used to calculate the moderator effects of environmental uncertainty. The macro also reported the effect level of independent variables on dependent variables. According to the results of the analysis, logistics flexibility and relationship flexibility affected logistics service quality, positively and significantly. Besides, environmental uncertainty had a moderator role in the relationship between logistics flexibility and logistics service quality. There were some limitations. A questionnaire was used as a data collection tool in the study. Thus, personal perceptions of the participants could be apparent in the information given about the company since questionnaire data was formed in accordance with statements given by the respondents. In future researches, it is recommended that measurement tools that can determine environmental uncertainty more objectively could be used on a sectoral basis to secure clearer results. It is recommended that companies take into account environmental uncertainty when determining a strategy(s) to enhance the quality of logistics services.

Environmental problems, environmental awareness, and efforts to protect the environment are among the issues that concern the whole world and that need to be acted upon. Environmental concerns, which have come to the fore, especially in recent years, are closely related to the tourism sector. The main purpose of this research is to determine the moderator role of environmental interpretations in the relationship between planned behavior levels and environmental awareness perceptions of hotel employees. The sample of the research consists of 697 employees, who worked in five-star hotels in the Alanya region between the months of August and September 2020. As the data collection method in the research, the questionnaire technique has been preferred. As a result of the data obtained from the research, the Amos program was used to test the structural model. Respectively, these analyzes are reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, discriminant analysis, and regression analysis. As a consequence of the regression analysis conducted within the context of the study, it has been determined that the level of attitude, which is considered to be one of the planned behavior factors of the employees in the hotel enterprises, has a positive and significant effect on their environmental awareness. In addition, it has been determined that environmental interpretations have a moderating role in the relationship between the attitude levels and environmental awareness of the employees, participated in the research.

Remote working became a widespread business practice during the COVID-19 pandemic as an organizational response to protect employees’ health and maintain business continuity. The aim of this paper is to reveal the role of social support in the relationship among NWHI, NHWI and loneliness, and work engagement and job performance. The study respondents were employees with a remote working status in Serbian companies, and a total of 226 valid surveys were collected. The PLS-SEM approach was deployed to test the hypothesized relationship between named variables. A standard bootstrapping procedure was used to reveal direct and indirect effects among latent variables. Results indicate a strong and positive direct association between social support and work engagement and job performance, while mediation and moderation of the role of social support were mostly confirmed but with some results opposite to what was expected. Social support was not able to buffer a negative home–work interaction and loneliness within remote working. The study offers insight into the role of social support and recommendations for managing the antecedents and consequences of remote working, with the aim to determine a sustainable model for extensive application, not only during the COVID-19 pandemic, but in regular times.

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between entrepreneurial inclination (tendency) and entrepreneurial readiness (ER), and the moderating role of the entrepreneurship education in this relationship. As a result of the literature review examined in this context, research hypotheses were developed and a theoretical model was put forward. The research was conducted on 365 students who received entrepreneurship education at Aksaray and Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University. The data of the research were gathered with convenience sampling method by using online and face-to-face survey technique. The data collected were tested by regression analysis using appropriate statistical package programs. According to the results of the research, it was found that the entrepreneurial inclinations of the participants had a significant effect on their entrepreneurial readiness and that entrepreneurship education played a moderator role in this effect. In the study, it is found that the entrepreneurial inclination did not affect the learning orientation of the dimensions of the ER; it is concluded that the entrepreneurial inclination negatively affects the perceived attractiveness and work passion dimensions of the dimensions of ER. In addition, it is determined that entrepreneurship education did not have the moderating role in the effect of entrepreneurial inclination on learning orientation dimension, but entrepreneurship education has a moderator role in the effect of perceived attractiveness and work passion.

Logistics performance is an important determinant of economic growth. The present study investigates the moderating role of logistics performance of the logistic infrastructure on economic growth in developing countries. We employ the World Bank computed LPI index in the year 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018 to measure the logistic performance. The current research includes the 50 developing economies, and a panel data set comprising of total 300 observations is collected. The study used the conventional Cobb–Douglas production function with labor, capital stock as main drivers of economic growth. The study found that the labor and capital endowments have significantly different impacts in terms of elasticity coefficients for developing countries with different logistics performance levels. It implies that logistics performance, i.e., the efficient performance of logistic infrastructure, plays a moderator role in economic growth in developing economies.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, adolescents could not leave their house freely, meet up with friends, or attend school; previous literature showed that youths under enforced confinement or quarantine were five times more likely to suffer from psychopathological symptoms and use social networks sites (SNs) greatly. This study aimed to verify whether the quality of the parent-adolescent relationship could predict youths’ psychopathological symptoms and their SN use during the pandemic, and to evaluate the possible moderator role of their the capacity to be alone. Seven hundred and thirty-nine (n = 739) adolescents were recruited from the general population during the COVID-19 lockdown in Italy, and they were administered The Capacity to be Alone Scale, The BSMAS, the YSR, and the Perceived Filial Self-efficacy Scale. Our results confirmed a direct effect of the perceived filial self-efficacy on the psychopathological symptoms so that a poorer perceived quality of the relationship with the caregivers predicted higher psychopathological symptoms in youths. Moreover, greater social networks use was predictive of psychopathological symptoms in adolescents. Our results also showed a significant interaction effect between adolescents’ perceived filial efficacy and the capacity to be alone on SN use and on psychopathological symptoms. These results suggest that youths’ response to the confinement during the pandemic is influenced both by individual characteristics (the capacity to be alone) and by relational variables (the perceived filial self-efficacy).

This study examines the relationship between psychological contract, organisational citizenship behaviours, and sub-dimensions of five-factor personality traits (extraversion, agreeableness, openness, conscientiousness, and neuroticism) of employees in the private sector. In addition, it investigated whether the sub-dimensions of personality traits have moderator roles in the relationship between psychological contract and organisational citizenship behaviours. In order to achieve this aim, the number one model proposed by Hayes (2013) was taken as a basis in establishing the model related to the relationships between three variables. Employees in the private sector (accounting, health and information sectors) who carry out their activities in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Mersin constituted the research universe. The convenience sampling method was chosen while identifying the sample due to the Covid 19 pandemic that affected the world. The data used in the study were collected with three scales between January 1-31, 2021. The analysis of the model established in the study was performed with the SPSS package program and the R programming language. The result of the study indicated a significant relationship between the employees' perceptions of the psychological contract, organisational citizenship behaviour and the sub-dimensions of the five-factor personality traits. In addition, it has been determined that the sub-dimension of personality traits, "openness to development", has a moderator role in the relationship between psychological contract and organisational citizenship behaviour. It is also seen that the results are compatible with similar studies in the literature. It is expected that this research will contribute to organisational behaviour and psychology, while the findings can be used as input for other studies in the specified areas.
