Abstract Owing to their excellent optical properties, organolead halide perovskite nanocrystals (PeNCs) have gained significant attention. Considering their industrial contribution, exploring practical production of high-quality PeNCs is of major importance. In this work, we demonstrate continuous-flow synthesis of ultrahigh luminescent PeNCs with high color purity using a forced thin film reactor. We successfully demonstrate the effectiveness of this reactor as a crystal growth environment. The photoluminescence quantum yields were improved to 94% as a result of the unique mixing process. After film formation, this reactor enabled the application for perovskite light-emitting diodes.

The highly efficient cycloaddition reaction of hydrazonyl chlorides with 2,3-dichloro-1,4-naphthoquinone yielded pharmaceutically important spiro-naphthalene-1,2'-[1,3,4]oxadiazol-4-ones with moderate to good yields under batch and flow synthesis methods. The obtained products were elucidated by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, HRMS and single crystal X-ray diffraction technique (only for 6h). The synthesized molecules have been subjected to theoretical analysis by quantum chemical calculations at B3LYP/6-31G(d,p) level, which provided supporting data for the experimental findings.

Herein, we report a continuous flow process for the synthesis of 2,6-diisopropylphenol—also known as Propofol—a short-acting intravenous anesthesia, widely used in intensive care medicine to provide sedation and hypnosis. The synthesis is based on a two-step procedure: a double Friedel–Crafts alkylation followed by a decarboxylation step, both under continuous flow.

AbstractIn this paper, ynolate-initiated cycloaddition (annulation) to form a range of carbocycles and heterocycles is described. Ynolates consist of a ketene anion equivalent, which contains both nucleophilic and electrophilic moieties, and a carbodianion equivalent that achieves double addition. Hence, in addition to the usual [n+2] cycloaddition, ynolates can perform formal [n+1]-type annulations. Their high-energy performance has been demonstrated by their triple addition to arynes to generate triptycenes, in which the C–C triple bond of ynolates is cleaved. The synthetic applications of these methods, including natural products synthesis, are also described.1 Introduction2 Preparation of Ynolates2.1 Double Lithiation2.2 Flow Synthesis2.3 Double Deprotonation3 [2+2] Cycloaddition to C=O Bond3.1 To Aldehydes and Ketones3.2 Sequential Cycloaddition4 [2+2] Cycloaddition to Imino Groups
