Entrepreneurship is an activity to meet the needs of human life. With the existence of entrepreneurship, unemployment can be reduced, considering that in Indonesia the unemployment rate is very high. Especially with the Covid-19 outbreak, the unemployment rate has increased. In starting a business, careful planning is needed, so that the business we run is in accordance with the goals and expectations we want. In addition, the existence of a business plan can make it easier to evaluate the shortcomings of the business that we are running. Therefore business planning lies at the very top before doing or starting a business. The business plan or business plan includes a vision and mission, an overview of the company, marketing, goods and services produced, efforts to increase sales and capital. Berwirausaha merupakan kegiatan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup manusia. Dengan adanya kewirausahaan pengangguran dapat berkurang, mengingat di Indonesia tingkat pengangguran yang sangat tinggi. Terlebih dengan adanya wabah covid-19 ini, tingkat pengangguran meningkat. Dalam memulai sebuah usaha maka perlu perencanaan yang matang, agar usaha yang kita jalankan sesuai dengan tujuan dan harapan yang kita inginkan. Selain itu dengan adanya perencanaan usaha dapat mempermudah dalam mengevaluasi kekurangan terhadap usaha yang sedang kita jalankan. Oleh karena itu perencanaan usaha terletak pada posisi paling atas sebelum melakukan atau mengawali sebuah usaha. Dalam business plan atau perencanaan usaha didalamnya mencangkup visi dan misi, gambaran tentang perusahaan, pemasaran, barang dan jasa yang dihasilkan, usaha untuk meningkatkan penjualan dan permodalan.

SYNTHESIS OF EFFECTIVE IDEAS OF INNOVATIVE PROJECTS DURING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE EIGHTH TECHNOLOGICAL ORDER

The subject of the article is the synthesis of ideas of innovative projects during the formation of the eighth technological order; the object of the article is innovative activity during the eighth technological order; the purpose of the work is to increase the efficiency of the synthesis of innovative ideas during the transition to the eighth technological order; to achieve this goal, the following tasks are solved: research and clarification of the concept and essence of innovative ideas; analysis of factors and methods of synthesis of innovative ideas in the process of development of a new technological order; formation of methods for the analysis of innovative ideas; description of modeling processes and business planning of projects for the implementation of these ideas; scientific methods in the article are: synthesis theory; theory of technological order, modeling theory, expert assessments, heuristic synthesis, structural and logical analysis of projects; scientific novelty of the article is associated with the development of methods for the synthesis and analysis of the effectiveness of innovative project ideas in the conditions of the formation of the eighth technological order.

Lack of business planning: A barrier to successful implementation of total quality management in South African agricultural small-, micro- and medium-sized enterprises

This study aimed to establish baseline data for performance concerning the business planning function of agricultural small-, micro- and medium-sized enterprises (Agri-SMMEs) in the Eastern Cape Province, South Africa. It also endeavoured to investigate the extent to which Agri-SMMEs that had adopted total quality management (TQM) had improved their business planning performance. An action research design and mixed methods, which included the internationally recognised South African Excellence Model (SAEM), were used to collect qualitative and quantitative data from Agri-SMMEs in the Western Eastern Cape (WEC) that had adopted the TQM philosophy, as well as from WEC and Eastern Eastern Cape (EEC) Agri-SMMEs that had not adopted that philosophy. Whether or not they had adopted TQM, the Agri-SMMEs studied were performing poorly relating to the business planning function when benchmarked against world-class standards. Hence, Agri-SMMEs that had implemented the TQM process did not necessarily have a performance advantage over those that had not adopted the process. With respect to practical implications, the use of the SAEM for continuous performance improvement of the business planning function should be promoted and interventions should be provided for the identified shortcomings relevant to this function. It is the first study of its kind to be conducted in the agricultural sector in South Africa. Therefore, the findings should provide a useful guide to enterprises contemplating implementing a TQM programme.

STRATEGI BUSINESS PLANNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI BAGI VOLUNTEER PENGGIAT ORGANISASI BELAJAR BAHASA BERSAMA FAKULTAS EKONOMI DAN BISNIS, UNIVERSITAS TRISAKTI

<p>Pelatihan dan pengembangan suatu organisasi perlu dilaksanakan untuk mencapai keberhasilan. Oleh karena itu, strategi memerlukan visi, fokus, arah, motivasi, dan dokumen perencanaan yang matang. Strategi pelatihan adalah suatu metode untuk menentukan kompetensi apa yang mungkin dibutuhkan suatu lembaga di masa depan, serta bagaimana mendapatkannya. PkM dilakukan pada Organisasi sosial yaitu BBB (Belajar Bahasa Bersama), dimana pelatihan ditujukan untuk para volunteer atau penggerak kegiatan ini. Tujuan dari kegiatan PkM yang dilakukan adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan tentang organisasi pada volunteer yayasan yang bergerak di bidang sosial. Dimana tujuan ini sesuai dengan masalah yang dihadapi oleh para volunteer yaitu bagaimana mereka dapat memiliki kompetensi mumpuni dan semangat belajar yang dapat ditularkan pada peserta didiknya. Kegiatan PkM dilaksanakan secara online melalui aplikasi Zoom pada Sabtu, 25 Juli 2020. Pelaksanaan PkM dilakukan dengan metode, ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Pengumpulan data untuk evaluasi kegiatan PkM dilakukan dengan google form. Materi yang diberikan selama kegiatan berupa modul mengenai perencanan bisnis, serta modul untuk memotivasi agar terus berkarya. Statistik deskriptif hasil pengolahan data jawaban responden umumnya mengakui bahwa kegiatan ini berjalan efektif, dimana peserta menilai bahwa kualitas materi yang disampaikan sangat baik dan jelas sehingga peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan dan informasi baru cara menjalankan organisasi yang bergerak di bidang sosial.</p>

FACTORS ANALYSIS OF FAILURE IN ONLINE BUSINESS ON BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION STUDENTS

The study aims to determine the factors that influenced the failure of online businesses run by Business Administration students from the class of 2017-2018, along with the most dominant element that caused the business to take a knock. The research was done using the descriptive qualitative method. The data collection process was in the form of in-depth observation and interviews with 12 sources who had failed to do business online. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Miles and Huberman model. The result shows that 14 factors caused the failure of online businesses run by Business Administration students from the class of 2017-2018, which are managerial incompetence, the lack of experience and skill, financial problems, business planning, wrong target market, business transition, inability to control stock, uncontrolled growth, location, marketing management, high product cost, poor management, consistency, and time management. The most dominant ones were business planning, managerial incompetence, and lack of experience and skill.

Business-Oriented Reserves and Resource Management - Experiences from a Merger

In May 2019, the merger between Wintershall GmbH and DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG was closed, which was the start of Wintershall Dea.This paper provides detailed insight into managing reserves and resource information during this merger. After merger, three resource management activities required attention: (i) combining existing resources reporting, (ii) defining a lean but effective resources management and control system, and (iii) ensuring readiness for Initial Public Offering (IPO) by establishing an external independent evaluation of resources ("external resource audit"). This paper describes objectives, challenges and solutions on reserves and resources reporting of the new company. The merged reserves and resources database of the previous year's reports had to consider audits from two different reporting systems in parallel to four different external auditors.With priorities defined by status of external auditing, operatorship and asset share a common database was derived and could immediately be used for financial transactions such as the issuance of an inaugural bond. The new system for internal reporting of petroleum resources provides a fit-for-purpose approach, such as a consistent interpretation of commerciality criteria or definition of resources sub-classes.Particular attention was paid to synergies with respect to business planning, strategic portfolio analysis, and a link to technology & innovation. By defining specific attributes and sub-processes, the portfolio can be analyzed systematically. This provides additional insights and ensures synergies with business planning, strategic planning as well as internal technology initiatives. A systematic resource control system is defined focusing on internal review, external and internal audits as well as synergetic use of project reviews. Moreover, a feedback loop for continuous improvement of reservoir management allows attending to important audit observations. The external resource audit to ensure IPO readiness was structured to assign tasks for head office, business units and auditing company.The sequence of events from introduction to assets to reconciliation of differences between auditor and company was set-up, executed and monitored.Focus was on the definition of a structured but agile approach for external independent evaluation of all reserves and contingent resources.
