Winter sports are the main attraction for many tourist areas in Romania, contributing significantly to the development of local economies. Based on this, the study aims to analyze the ski areas in Romania, as well as the extent to which they contribute to the sustainable development of the local economy. This is particularly important as, in recent decades, climate change has significantly affected winter sports, especially skiing. Thus, an analysis of the physical characteristics of ski runs in Romania (number, length, width, level difference and slope) is accompanied with an analysis on the dynamics of the share of tourism in the local economy of winter sport locations, based on tourism turnover relative to total turnover in the local economy. Both graphic and cartographic methods were used in this study, based on an analysis of quantitative and qualitative data available for ski slopes in Romania and the host localities. We used ArcGIS 10.6 software for the preparation of graphical representations and other software to process large databases. The research results showed a great diversity regarding counties, localities and ski slopes depending on the characteristic features of ski slopes (number, length, width, level difference and slope). In our study, the evolution of the share of turnover in tourism in terms of total turnover presented several categories of localities based on their economic dependence on winter sports; the impact in this regard was found to be very differentiated between localities.

For multicomponent products, the maintenance of every component separately will increase the downtime and reduce the availability of products during the warranty period. To solve this problem, the economic dependence between the components is considered in this paper. Firstly, a single-component two-dimensional (2D) preventive maintenance (PM) availability model is established, and the simulated annealing algorithm is adopted to calculate the optimal 2D PM interval to achieve the maximal availability of any single component. Then, to ensure that the warranty cost of each component does not exceed the budget, the PM benchmark interval is introduced, and the PM work is optimized following the method of grouping maintenance. Based on this, the 2D preventive grouping maintenance availability model of multicomponent products is established. Finally, an example is given to verify the proposed method, and the results indicate that the proposed method increases the availability of multicomponent products during the 2D warranty period.

The modern property turnover is characterized by the presence of a large number of integration associations of economic entities and the existence of relations of economic dependence between them. At the same time, the legal status of such associations is not defined in Russian law due to the dominance of the traditional civilistic approach that presupposes the legal independence of each participant in entrepreneurial activity. In turn, this leads to significant violations of the rights of creditors of such interconnected persons. This is especially evident in the legal relationship of insolvency (bankruptcy), where opposing interests of the parties collide. Moreover, the insolvency of one member of the association may lead to the insolvency of the entire association as a whole. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of such a new legal category in insolvency law as an entrepreneurial group. The paper examines the rules of Russian law governing the relations of economic dependence between the subjects of property relations, and the main doctrinal approaches to this problem. The paper examines various approaches to the legal definition of an entrepreneurial group in other legal orders and highlights the characteristic features of this legal category. The conclusion is made about the absence of a systematic approach in the Russian legal system to understanding the forms of economic dependence between the participants of property turnover. The author provides a new concept of an entrepreneurial group and explains the necessity of its introduction into the Federal Law of 26.10.2002 No. 127-FZ "On Insolvency (Bankruptcy)".

Abstract In this policy briefing we investigate 14 potential risks which could cause renewable energy development in Morocco to provoke a resource curse. We identify the biggest risks to be economic dependence, technical dependence, and damage to flora and fauna. Policy objectives are identified to prevent or mitigate these risks. These are: careful negotiation of robust co-funding arrangements to safeguard Moroccan autonomy; the development of local renewable energy technology capabilities; and continuation and enhancement of environmental protection mandates.

AbstractPoland was among vocal critics of the acceleration and finalization of CAI talks by the end of 2020. Among the reasons were doubts about the timing and political circumstances in the EU such as the role of Germany as a driving force for CAI due to its economic dependence on China, and Commission mandate for talks that was granted several years ago in a very different situation both in China and Europe. Poland was also critical about bypassing the USA, in a sense of bringing CAI talks up to speed during the transition period, before Biden sworn. However, after finalization of the agreement, Polish government (as well as the biggest opposition party) presents a rather positive assessment of CAI and opts for ratification. Notwithstanding, all Polish MEPs have endorsed the European Parliament resolution to freeze ratification process.

Dementia is a condition that is still considered normal in the elderly by the general public. Dementia clients often experience hopeless situations that include feelings of helplessness, frustration with their surroundings, economic dependence on family members, and inability to socialize with other people. Most dementia clients are cared for at home by family members due to financial limitations and supportive health services. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive phenomenology approach. This research was conducted in the period November 2018 - May 2019 in the Bekasi City area and the number of participants obtained by the researchers was 10 people. The theme obtained by the researchers was how the coping mechanism carried out by the carer while caring for the elderly with dementia which was described in 3 themes, including care efforts made to heal a partner, activities taken to avoid boredom, and resources owned by caregivers. In addition, there is a need for socialization for the community about dementia and an increase in understanding for health workers who work within the scope of the health office as well as the development of dementia conditions that occur.
