The author presents eight of his own group’s studies. They have been published from early 1980s until 2016. Each study will be placed in its scientific context and discussed in relation to possible progress in arts and health research. In these examples, statistical methods with longitudinal designs and mostly control groups have been used. Some of them are randomized controlled trials. Physiological and endocrinological variables have been assessed in some of these studies in efforts to increase our understanding of how music experiences and other kinds of arts experiences interact with bodily reactions of relevance for health development. Although some of the studies have suffered from low statistical power and other methodological weaknesses, they show that it is possible to do statistical evaluations of arts interventions aiming at improved health.

This research data uses secondary data from national and international journal articles, government websites, and national online media news during the COVID-19 pandemic. The technique of analyzing research data uses Vosviewer and Nvivo 12 plus software so that data visualization can be presented as a basis for formulating health development policies and how the role of actors in controlling COVID-19. This study indicates, 1) the pattern of health development policies in controlling COVID-19 still needs improvement in effectiveness and efficiency so that policies are right on target. 2) policies made in controlling COVID-19 in Indonesia are still not optimal, especially in integrating technology and other resources. 3) the government is not ready to control COVID-19; the role of other actors is still low in intensity in controlling COVID-19. Health-related parameters are critical as indicators of development, and as a result, governments allocate a sizable portion of their budgets to the health sector. The most fundamental variable considered an indicator of health development is the infant mortality rate, which was used as the dependent variable in this study. The data utilized in the study were compiled from the TURKSTAT web page and the TR Ministry of Health's health annuals, with the year 2019 serving as the reference point for access to all data. In the study, econometric analyses were performed while keeping the notion of contiguity in mind to reveal the factors healthily affecting the infant mortality rate at the NUTS 3 level, which encompasses all provinces in the TURKSTAT regional categorization. The distribution of infant mortality rates by provinces in Turkey was analyzed in this context, and it was discovered that there was a high degree of clustering between provinces. This clustering structure indicated the presence of a spatial relationship between provinces, and it was from this point of view that spatial econometric analysis of health services in Turkey was conducted. Analyzes were carried out using STATA and GeoDa package programs. The diagnostic tests revealed the presence of spatial autocorrelation, necessitating the employment of the spatial autoregressive model (SAR Model) to explain the relationship between the variables. As a result, it was concluded that both the variables included in the study and the infant mortality rate in nearby locations have an effect on the infant mortality rate for each province.

Emerging from early of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has become one of the most serious health crisis globally. In response to such threat, a wide range of digital health applications has been deployed in Vietnam to strengthen surveillance, risk communication, diagnosis, and treatment of COVID-19. Digital health has brought enormous benefits to the fight against COVID-19, however, numerous constrains in digital health application remain. Lack of strong governance of digital health development and deployment; insufficient infrastructure and staff capacity for digital health application are among the main drawbacks. Despite several outstanding problems, digital health is expected to contribute to reducing the spread, improving the effectiveness of pandemic control, and adding to the dramatic transformation of the health system the post-COVID era.
