ABSTRACT This research aimed at identifying the level of practice of electronic teaching skills among the faculty members of PSAU and detecting the effects of the following research variables: Teaching Load, Students Number, and Teaching Experience, through surveying (153) faculty member in PSAU in 2020. The results showed that the faculty members agreed that e-teaching skills are highly practiced in technology, design, and management fields in PSAU. The results also proved that there were no statistically significant differences to (design and management fields, and overall skill) according to the ‘Teaching Load’ variable. There were also statistically significant differences to (the technology field) according to the ‘Teaching Load’ variable in favor of those with ‘lighter teaching load with administrative duties’. However, there were no statistically significant differences to (design and management fields, and overall skills) according to the ‘Student Number’ variable.

In the wake of these researches, the present study aims to reflect on the role of the teacher in the current context, pointing to his excessive overload of professional work and, at the same time, on coping with situations of devaluation, lack of recognition and disrespect for teaching work. in society. The sewing of the presented ideas starts from a bibliographical and exploratory study of qualitative nature, built in the light of Althusser (1985), Arroyo (2000), Bastos (2009), Bourdieu (2004), Candau (2014), Chizzotti; Almeida (2019), Diniz-Pereira (2011), Enguita (1991), Gasparini, Barreto e Assunção (2005), Libâneo (2018), Nóvoa (1995, 2009, 2017), Pimenta (2009), Tardif e Lessard (2005), among others. In a metaphorical allusion to the song 'A carne', immortalized in the voice of Elza Soares, with the verse 'the cheapest meat on the market is black meat', in which teaching work is associated with being the 'heaviest on the market', excessive demands and little recognition and appreciation. Similar to a domino effect, the way the figure of the teacher has been treated in his path of insertion in the Brazilian school and educational culture; triggers a series of issues, such as: i) the devaluation of their work; ii) the overload of duties assigned to him; iii) health problems; iv) an identity crisis. A possible way to face and overcome this crisis is to restructure the social imaginary about teaching work, in order to regain its cultural and professional survival; and, with that, make 'the teaching load' lighter in the current job market. Keywords: Teaching work. This article discusses the development of an automated information system "Distribution of teaching load of the teacher" based on a relational data model. Existing modern software products for planning the teaching load of a teacher are a commercial product of universities or private organizations. They have many additional functions that are not entirely necessary for a particular university. Therefore, there is a need to create its own automated system for distributing the teaching load of a teacher, which will be easy to use and automatically generates reporting documents in exact accordance with the forms of the university's reporting documentation. The proposed automated information system "Distribution of the teaching load of the teacher" uses a relational data model, since such a model allows information to be represented using interrelated tables in which records are unique. The need to create this system is to save the time of the head of the department, who are responsible for checking the correctness of the distribution of the annual teaching load between teachers. This software product is a logically complete product and ready to use. In the future, it is planned to create a platform for the schedule also for other reporting documents related to the reports of the department and simplifying their preparation. The fact that this system is a separate module allows you to use it in any university. The required data is loaded by the reporting data compiler. All reports are generated in MS Excel format and can be used for further analysis and processing.

Objective - The primary purpose of this research work is to determine the relationship between work engagement of public elementary school (PES) teachers and organizational support in the District of San Jose, Schools Division of Antique, Philippines. Methodology/Technique - Descriptive-correlational design was employed in undertaking this study. A total sample of 167 was purposively selected among the PES teachers in San Jose District, Schools Division of Antique for the survey. The researchers adapted the accomplished Individual Performance Commitment and Review Form of teachers and Eisenberger's (1986) perceived Organizational Support Scale for the study. Findings – The results show that PES teachers' level of work engagement was very satisfactory in all of 4 work engagement aspects - teaching-learning process, student outcomes, community involvement, and professional growth and development. The results also indicated that the PES teachers have a high organizational support level when the different variables were considered in this study - teaching load, teaching position, sex, and marital status. Moreover, looking into the PES teachers' work engagement, a significant difference was noted in community involvement when grouped according to teaching load; and professional growth and development when grouped according to sex. However, no significant difference was noted in all aspects when grouped according to a teaching position and marital status. A significant difference was also pointed out in organizational support in terms of teaching load, teaching position, sex, and marital status. Finally, there was no significant relationship between work engagement and organizational support of PES teachers. Novelty - The study suggests that the Department of Education subjects its personnel to continuing education, training, seminars, and values formation activities to help teachers become more effective in delivering their daily obligations, engage in their work for skills development, and make them feel they are given much attention by the organization where they belong. Educational leadership is essential to implement information and communications technologies in schools but the leadership practice of information and communications technologies coordinators, a position role that supports teachers to implement information and communications technologies, appears limited. The present study applies a distributed perspective to leadership and investigates aspects of information and communications technologies coordinator context that would facilitate leadership. Twenty-seven information and communications technologies coordinators were surveyed on their schools’ structures and mechanisms that mediate their leadership practice. Descriptive statistics show that a wide range of structures and mechanisms in different quantities and with different qualities can be available to coordinators. The majority of coordinators have neither additional position roles nor a teaching load, but the coordinators have organizational unit assignments and attend daily, routine interactions. A case study illustrates how specific structures and mechanisms would facilitate leadership for information and communications technologies implementation. It is recommended to design an information and communications technologies coordinator role as a formal position role, for a school to employ more than one information and communications technologies coordinator, and to develop an information and communications technologies coordinator’s teaching load, organizational unit assignments and routine interactions according to school needs. Several possible populations of information and communications technologies coordinators are identified for further research.

This project discusses the methods of binary linear programming with an application of scheduling problem for students and teachers in an addi-tional class program. This topic was inspired by the the problems faced by several schools, which in preparing students for exams, often need to or-ganize additional class programs. Such a program is certainly efficient, because it can save teaching load, but is quite complicated in terms of scheduling. The desired schedule must fit the student learning times and teacher availability. Using mathematical modeling, conditions and regula-tions are expressed in the form of mathematical equations and or inequali-ties, which act as constraints. Next, formulating the problem in the stand-ard form, allow us to implement the integer linear programming tools available in Matlab. The output we obtained, were in the form of a binary matrix, directly representing the student learning schedule, as well as the teacher's teaching schedule.

Nowadays, it is more important to be as efficient as possible. Most of the teaching institutions, one of the essential tasks that is carried out every year or every semester are to allocate teaching workload. Teaching workload allocation refers to the teaching staff teaches which subject and group classes. The task is a time-consuming process. The best allocation will be one of the contributing factors to the teaching quality. In current practice to this department, the teaching load allocates manually through a trial-and-error manner using Microsoft Excel. This may lead to unfavourable results. In this study, we aim to propose an innovative approach to allocate teaching load to group courses using integer programming which able to optimize the teaching allocation while satisfying the teaching staff preferences and based on department policies as constraints. Primary data were gathered using google form among 12 lecturers with 8 courses and 45 group classes considered. A feasible solution will be solved using LINGO unlimited software and the model serves as the best tool to assist the head of the department to allocate teaching workload. It found that the model proposes as a suitable tool to be employed for teaching allocation.
