The Names of Montenegrin Football ClubsThis article analyses the names of the Montenegrin football clubs taking part in the 2019/20 league competitions. The semantic analysis of their names presented in the study indicates that the most popular pattern is the use of a geographical name (the name of a mountain, river, lake, etc.). Other significant patterns are the use of the names of people (including the names of occupations, inhabitants of a particular region, or famous people associated with the region) and the names of abstract relations between people. Some clubs, mostly from the lowest level in the league system, use only an acronym and the name of their town/village.

The letters of famous people are national and universal-sounding events. This is a reality from antic times, the manifestations of which are also present in the ancient, medieval, as well as new and modern Armenian literature. We have in our possession 135 letters of the internationally renowned byzantinist, armenologist, philologist and historian Nicoghayos Adonts, written from 1893 to 1940. The 135 letters of Nicoghayos Adonts, with corresponding notes, were prepared to publication by historian Petros Hovhanissian, who devoted his whole life to the study and publication of Adont’s scientific heritage. The 7th volume of the works of the famous scientist is dedicated to these letters. Adonts’ “Correspondence” contains numerous letters addressed to N. Marr, N. Akinian, G. Hovsepian, T. Gushakian, K. Zarian and others, the theses in which are basic and can still be used by linguists, critics, politicians, historians and people involved in science in general.

Besides the problems, related to the Teaching of Information Technologies at an early age, there is often expressed one point of view about the problem: Should we use computer in junior and elementary schools? We think, that computer could be used with kids of mentioned ages, but only by the specific methods of teaching, taking into consideration their health care and protection. We have indicated how to explain to the kids the ideas of “famous people” on the plain language and various aspects of computer teaching. We have also discussed the essential three reasons for the integrated course of informatics in junior and elementary schools. Finely, we underlined the fact, that during the teaching of elements of Information Technologies in aforementioned children, the circumstances, teaching and upbringing methods may promote and accelerate the logical development of mentality with the help of computer, or vice versa, hinder this process with prolonged negative results.

The short story text Disappearing with the Wind by Xing Qingjie as a representation of the rural fiction genre in Chinese Literature attempts to refute the grand narratives of modern fiction. For the author of the text, the power of modernity is not eternal, but can be subverted or deconstructed by giving acknowledgment to the small voices represented by Mr Zou, Sha Xiaobao, and the idiot woman in Disappearing with the Wind. This study uses a postmodernism approach to map the elements of disorientation, abnormality and small voices in that short story. Affirmation of the micronarrative is a way of working of postmodern fiction in challenging the power of modernity with the grand narrative as its main basis. For Xing Qingjie, reality does not always depend on big people, famous people, but can also be celebrated by village people, unusual people, including people who are marginalized in modern life. In his lawsuit, the presence of this text will emphasize that there is no central, no peripheral. All can be the center, and all can also be the periphery. Rural fiction pioneered by Lu Xun proves that denial of the power of grand narratives is possible in the same way that Xing Qingjie has done in a number of his works, including the short story Disappearing with the Wind.

The narratives based on history of the disease of famous people are an effective pedagogical tool for future physicians’ preparation in medical ethics and psychology. The objective of this study was to analyze the methods that doctors used to inform Frederic Chopin about his disease. Frederic Chopin's and Georges Sand's letters, the works of the composer's biographers as well as scientific publications devoted to Chopin's illness were analysed. The analysis showed that most of Frederic Chopin's physicians hid from him an incurable and fatal diagnosis for ethical reasons. This tactic proved to be effective: Chopin lived for more than 10 years with severe symptoms of pulmonary tuberculosis.

This chapter focuses on famous people. It shows that American culture does not take for granted the role of merit in achievement, even in the cases of successful public figures. The chapter asserts that even in instances of extreme achievement — the paragons, the winners, the people whose merit should be most obvious and who have long been understood as symbols of meritocracy — American culture tends to debate or evaluate the role of merit in success rather than accept it. It explores how we argue about whether people like Carly Fiorina deserve to be where they are and ask what our uncertainty about the Big Shots means for the rest of us. The chapter also reveals that American stories do not take meritocracy for granted but rather ask in individual cases whether a person, even an extremely successful person, ended up where he or she deserves to be. It emphasizes that American considerations of star athletes are shot through with uncertainty about deservedness.

The article analyzes the year-name space of the city of Volgograd (godonyms), interpreted as a set of names of linear geographic objects officially recorded on the territory of a settlement. The linguistic codes most in demand in the regional toponymic policy have been identified and characterized, the most important features of these codes are consistency, structure, repletion with relevant to users information, and in some cases conventionality, symbolism consigning positive semantics. It is argued that the extremely frequent codes for nominating the intracity linear topo objects of Volgograd are memorial, local, anthropogenic and conditionally symbolic ones. It has been established that memoratives can be subdivided into personal, group, and associated with some significant events. Personal memoratives are distributed over the three strata: godonyms commemorating world-famous people, godonyms naming places after iconic personalities in the national community, godonyms based on the names of people recognized in the region. Godonyms, designed to preserve the memory of military exploits committed during the defense of the city in different historical epochs, prevail among group and event memoratives. The most urgent tasks in the field of municipal toponymic policy are outlined as being associated with increase in degrees of name uniqueness within the city, reduction of onyms that contain numerals and abbreviations, and raising requirement to linguistic consistency and accurate spelling of godonyms.
