PurposeDespite the enormous potential of mobile health (mHealth), identifying the asymmetric relationship among the predictors towards intention to use (ITU) of mHealth tends to remain unresolved. This study aims to investigate the predictors and their asymmetric effects on ITU of mHealth through patients and healthcare professionals.Design/methodology/approachAn integrated information systems (IS) model with four additional constructs has been developed to analyze symmetric and asymmetric effects on ITU of mHealth. An exploratory survey on 452 mHealth users with prior experience was conducted to evaluate the model using a mixed-method approach including partial least squares-based structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) and fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) technique.FindingsThe findings show that facilitating conditions, personal awareness building, perceived enjoyment, effort expectancy and perceived usefulness have predictive power for ITU of mHealth. In contrast, fsQCA reveals four more alternative solutions, including the main drivers explored by PLS-SEM. The results indicate that various conditions that were not crucial in PLS-SEM analysis are shown to be sufficient conditions in fsQCA.Research limitations/implicationsThis study contributes to theory by integrating self-actualization factors (i.e. personal awareness building, patients as decision support unit) into the IS model. And practically, this study makes an essential contribution to users' ITU of mHealth, enabling relevant stakeholders to build strategies to implement mHealth successfully.Originality/valueWhile mHealth has revolutionized healthcare and the prior literature only showed linear relationships, this empirical study revealed asymmetrical relationships among the determinants of ITU of mHealth. Thus, this study extends to the growing body of literature on the use of mHealth technology in the least developing nation.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of the phenomenon, or the lack thereof, of building a culturally inclusive organization, specifically suggesting this paper will offer tips for human resources (“HR”) practitioners in their quest to understand and enhance inclusivity. Design/methodology/approach This paper is written for practitioners, focusing on ways to foster employee inclusiveness through personal awareness. It includes business and professional rationales for HR practitioners recognizing the need for and the factors impeding employee inclusiveness in the workplace. Findings Organizations are facing an increasingly dynamic environment in which they must interact with and, possibly, rapidly respond to changes. As a competition, both domestically and globally, increases progressive organizations recognize ways to retain and grow their talent pool. Not having a robust understanding of diversity, generally and cultural diversity, specifically, can lead to a less inclusive work environment. Originality/value This paper discusses the multifaceted nature of diversity and the need to understand cultural diversity. Particularly how HR practitioners can be a catalyst for organizational change. This paper then proposes practical steps for HR professionals to help improve cultural inclusiveness in their workplaces.

This thesis discusses the importance for people within the confines of high-density, metropolitan cities to find a collective moment of retreat through an architectural landscape of silence. Silence is becoming a desired and yet difficult to obtain commodity in modern western society. Due to intensified work and home commitments combined with overwhelming sensory manipulation in the urban environment, stress and psychological overloading is common. Stress and psychological overloading is problematic with regards to a sense of connectivity to other people. With constant sensory onslaught it is becoming increasingly important to create moments of stillness, which in the course of controlling and manipulating external stimuli allows for mental and physical retreat through contemplation. Historically places of silence and contemplation in western urban settings were places of worship. These spaces are designed to encourage groups of people to congregate and experience internal reflection while establishing a sense of togetherness. As western society moves towards secularisation, finding moments of silence collectively becomes even more significant in harvesting and maintaining a sense of belonging. Through referencing Juhani Pallasmaa and philosopher Max Picard an in-depth exploration into sensory design and what silence embodies is established. This, in combination with a critique of the detrimental current situation in modern society, asserts reasons for the need to revert to simplified sensory experiences in order to increase personal awareness of self and others. Nature and its pivotal role in stimulating a sense of silence is investigated through current theory and personal design explorations. This research is reinforced by case studies into successful modern places of retreat, for example Dominique Perrault’s Bibliothéque Nationale de France. Such schemes are used to understand notions of ritual and removal within a city setting. By incorporating silence (both visually and aurally) into an everyday city park in London, opportunities are created for the wider public to encounter and benefit from Stille.(1) (1) — German: English translation is Silence

The purpose of the article is to define public morality and morals as objects of state legal protection in Ukraine. It is established that the concepts of “morality” and “morals” originated in ancient times. Attempts to reveal these terms have gone through a significant evolutionary path, what is reflected in the published thinkers’ opinions of different times. Nevertheless, discussions on their content continue to this day, indicating their indistinctness. In Ukraine, the term “public morality” is defined at the legislative level, but the object of criminal legal protection is morals. Thus, Section XII of the Criminal Code of Ukraine provides for liability for criminal offenses against morals. The absence of a legally defined concept of morals encourages scientists to interpret it independently. There is a viewpoint that the concepts of “morality” and “morals” are identical, what contradicts reality, in particular because they are both, although related, but exist separately and have their own history of origin and development, as well as marked with different shades in the process of use, including the legislator. It is argued that the concepts of “morality” and “morals” should not be equated and it is proposed to make certain changes to the current legislation to determine the meaning of the term “morals” as an object of state legal protection in Ukraine. This requires professional discussion. Taking into account to a certain extent the different views of scientists on the concept of public morality and morals, as well as the fact that morals is the object of criminal legal protection, but its meaning is not disclosed in any law, we propose to amend the legislation, what in particular provide for changing the name of the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Public Morality” to “On the Protection of Public Morality and Morals” , as well as to define the term “morals”. This concept should be understood as the internal attitude of a person to act in a certain way or refrain from specific actions guided by their own understanding of spiritual and cultural values, personal awareness of good and evil, honor and dignity, duties to society, conscience and justice. The obtained and published results of the research can be used by lawyers in carrying out activities to protect public morality and morals, as well as by scientists in conducting further intelligence in this area.

The globalization processes associated with the fourth industrial revolution («Industry 4.0» - digital transformation) are gaining momentum in the context of social digitalization, which requires, in our opinion, the adoption of appropriate strategic management decisions and their implementation to prevent possible dangers. In addition to the institutional support of digitalization processes and the creation of a digital technology market, there is a need for motivated consumer activity of the "digital product" and both collective and personal awareness of the possible prospects and consequences of these transformations.

This study aims to describe the role of parents in instilling local wisdom. This study uses a qualitative method with an ethnopedagogical approach. The results showed that parents have a big influence on the character ordering process. Exemplary can lead children / adolescents to be actively directed to promote tolerance and respect for the beliefs of others. This is done so that individual children can reflect on these targets in everyday life in society. Constructive individual change can be the forerunner to the birth of a diverse life that is full of respect for support and is expected to create bonds of diversity that mutually reinforce, support one another, and respect one another. The value of assitulung-tulungeng is a cultural strength seen from the main asset in building sociological relations among people of different religions and cultures. At least this is what can be implemented from Ikram's comments above. Personal awareness that is illuminated by the light of faith in truth will certainly give birth to a sociological awareness which has implications for the creation of harmonious relationships in coastal communities.

An outbreak of a COVID-19 pandemic disease, caused by a novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, has posed a serious threat to global human health. Bangladesh has also come under the attack of this viral disease. Here, we aimed to describe the responses of Bangladesh to tackle the COVID-19, particularly on how Bangladesh is dealing with this novel viral disease with its limited resources. The first case of a COVID-19 patient was detected in Bangladesh on March 8, 2020. Since then, a total of 263,503 peoples are officially reported as COVID-19 infected with 3,471 deaths until August 11, 2020. To combat the COVID-19, the government has taken various steps viz. diagnosis of the suspected cases, quarantine of doubted people and isolation of infected patients, local or regional lockdown, closure of all government and private offices, increase public awareness and enforce social distancing, etc. Moreover, to address the socio-economic situations, the government announced several financial stimulus packages of about USD 11.90 billion. However, the government got 3 months since the disease was first reported in China, but the country failed in making proper strategies including contact tracing, introducing antibody/antigen-based rapid detection kit, and also failed to make multi-disciplinary team to combat this disease. Further, limited testing facilities and inadequate treatment service along with public unawareness are the major challenges for Bangladesh to tackle this situation effectively. Along with the government, personal awareness and assistance of non-government organizations, private organizations, researchers, doctors, industrialists, and international organizations are firmly required to mitigate this highly contagious disease.
