Comprehending humoral immunity to SARS-CoV-2, including in children, is crucial for future public health and vaccine strategies. Others have suggested that mucosal antibody measurement could be an important and more convenient tool to evaluate humoral immunity compared to circulating antibodies.

Importance-performance analysis (IPA) is a convenient tool for service quality evaluation. Likewise, SERVQUAL and the model of service quality is also another useful tool for service quality evaluation. How hot spring service providers position themselves and differentiate themselves from competitors is critical to their success. In this study, both IPA and SERVQUAL and the model of service quality are used to evaluate a hot spring service provider in Taiwan for comparisons. A modified SERVQUAL questionnaire was distributed to hot spring resort customers with 300 valid responses. Results from IPA indicated the “Reliability” as the service weakness, while SERVQUAL and the model of service quality identified the “Responsiveness” as the largest service gap. Using these tools, the service providers can identify the critical factors for improvements from different perspectives. Implications of both tools for service providers and researchers were discussed.

The paper presents a semi-structural model of a regional economy based on the standard version of the neo-Keynesian model in gaps. The main feature of this tool is its ability to predict regional indicators and model the regional heterogeneity of the national economy. In our model, Russia is divided into two macro-regions: the Central Federal District and the rest of Russia in aggregate. These regions are modelled separately but are interrelated. The benefit of this approach is that it allows us to analyse how shocks in one region are passed along to others, how the regions react to general shocks and what the appropriate monetary policy response should be. The model represents a simple and convenient tool for building macroeconomically consistent forecasts and generating recommendations in the area of monetary policy based on regional specifics.

Quantum computers are invaluable tools to explore the properties of complex quantum systems. We show that dynamical localization of the quantum sawtooth map, a highly sensitive quantum coherent phenomenon, can be simulated on actual, small-scale quantum processors. Our results demonstrate that quantum computing of dynamical localization may become a convenient tool for evaluating advances in quantum hardware performances.

AbstractIn this paper, we establish some new delay Gronwall–Bellman integral inequalities with power, which can be used as a convenient tool to study the qualitative properties of solutions to differential and integral equations. We also give some examples to illustrate the application of our results to obtain the estimation for the solution of the integral and differential equations.

Abstract We develop a novel bi-harmonic $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 4 superspace formulation of the $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory (SYM) in four dimensions. In this approach, the $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 4 SYM superfield constraints are solved in terms of on-shell $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 2 harmonic superfields. Such an approach provides a convenient tool of constructing the manifestly $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 4 supersymmetric invariants and further rewriting them in $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 2 harmonic superspace. In particular, we present $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 4 superfield form of the leading term in the $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 4 SYM effective action which was known previously in $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 2 superspace formulation.

The class II clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)–Cas systems, characterized by a single effector protein, can be further subdivided into types II, V, and VI. The application of the type II CRISPR effector protein Cas9 as a sequence-specific nuclease in gene editing has revolutionized this field. Similarly, Cas13 as the effector protein of type VI provides a convenient tool for RNA manipulation. Additionally, the type V CRISPR–Cas system is another valuable resource with many subtypes and diverse functions. In this review, we summarize all the subtypes of the type V family that have been identified so far. According to the functions currently displayed by the type V family, we attempt to introduce the functional principle, current application status, and development prospects in biotechnology for all major members.
