This paper presents a proposed design and analysis of a three-phase squirrel cage induction motor when changing of internal characteristic design for the three-phase induction motor. Two situations have been applied to enhancing the performance of the three-phase induction motor. The first situation has been implemented by changing the magnetic flux density (MFD) via the build of the six-phase for the same induction motor. The second situation has been implemented by changing core materials of the rotor part of the induction motor, like aluminum (AL) and cast iron (CI). The finite element method (FEM) has been used to analyze the rotor part, also to obtain the representation and simulation of the realty cylindrical rotor part of motor. The frequency domain (FD) analysis using to obtain the results within the environment of the COMSOL multiphysics 5.5 version.

The predictions of an upgraded UMARC comprehensive analysis are compared to experimental lift offset rotor results. The experiments cover a range of collective pitch angles (θ°) from 2° to 10°, advance ratios (μ) from 0.21 to 0.53, and lift offset from 0% to 20%. The experimental model rotors are from a system of coaxial hingeless rotors, with two blades each, and a first flap frequency of approximately 1.6/rev. The simulation is compared with isolated rotor performance and controls with lift offset, loads, and pitch link forces. Increasing efficiency with increasing lift offset, the impact of lift offset on different loads, and the dependence of pitch link loads on pitch bearing damping are identified in the experiment and correlated with the simulation.

This study compares characteristics of ring core such as iron loss and relative permeability to be used in Slotless generator and yoke in Rotor part (magnet) which is used in coreless generator in order to apply slotless type to AFPM generator to which only coreless type is used . In addition, this study produces AFPM slotless generator to which ring core is applied and finds characteristics of power generation and efficiency.

Looseness fault can occur in rotor part, bearing and pedestal for the vibration caused by alteration of operating craft and inappropriate installation. In the paper, a new pedestal looseness model is proposed by comprehensively considering the advantages and disadvantages of current models of pedestal looseness. By using nonlinear finite element method, the nonlinear characters of overhanging dual-disc rotor bearing for pedestal looseness fault are studied. The work has important significance on safe running and prolonging the life span of machines.

Selective laser sintering (SLS) of Si3N4 and Al2O3 powders were investigated in this work. Copolymer was synthesized through monomer MMA and BMA. Infrared spectrum was employed to characterize the as-synthesized copolymer. Results show that the main compositions of the copolymer are PMMA and PBMA. The binders were prepared by mixing the copolymer and the inorganic NH4H2PO4 with certain ratio. Binders were used to coat the Si3N4 and Al2O3 powders by spray drying. The coated powders were sintered successfully by SLS to make cubic part and rotor part.
