A scheme for parallel computation of the two-dimensional Edwards—Anderson model based on the transfer matrix approach is proposed. Free boundary conditions are considered. The method may find application in calculations related to spin glasses and in quantum simulators. Performance data are given. The scheme of parallelisation for various numbers of threads is tested. Application to a quantum computer simulator is considered in detail. In particular, a parallelisation scheme of work of quantum computer simulator.

Purpose. To compare quality of life and patient satisfaction in patients after cataract phacoemulsification with implantation of trifocal IOLs ZEISS AT Liza try 839 MP and AcrySof IQ PanOptix using an online computer simulator (Halo & Glare Simulator) and a questionnaire. Materials and methods. The study included 40 patients with senile cataracts who underwent phacoemulsification of cataracts with implantation of trifocal diffractive IOLs. In the postoperative period, patients were questioned to determine subjective satisfaction with the treatment result, according to the results of which the lowest number of points corresponded to the maximum satisfaction. The perception of halo and glare effects was investigated using an online computer simulator (Halo & Glare Simulator), which uses a scale of halo intensity and size from 0 to 100. The simulator classifies halos into three types: T1, T2 and T3. Results and discussion. The mean halo sizes for PanOptix and AT Liza try 839 MP were 31.15±23.88 and 30.14±21.62 (p-value=0.9683), respectively; in terms of halo intensity 34.77±20.38 and 32.43±27.69 (p-value=0.7511), respectively; glare size was 23.46±18.91 and 23.14±9.58 (p-value=0.5785), respectively; glare intensity was 27.31±21.52 and 35.57±8.34 (p-value=0.6055), respectively. The mean values of the sum of points according to the results of the questionnaire survey for PanOptix and AT Liza try 839 MP were 8.46±6.75 and 9.7 ±7.25 (p-value=0.6055), respectively. Conclusion. Our data demonstrate no significant differences in the size and intensity of halo and glare effects, as well as in the sum of scores according to the results of subjective patient satisfaction after implantation of two compared trifocal diffraction IOLs ZEISS AT Liza try 839 MP and AcrySof IQ PanOptix. Key words: сataract, multifocal IOLs, halo, glare. No author has a financial or proprietary interest in any material or method mentioned.

The function of the simulator is to imitate the behavior of the regulator loop, which is the main component of the Electrical Arc Furnace (EAF) control systems. In the past, the use of artificial intelligence methods, and in particular, the Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) were successfully applied in the modeling and control of the EAF components individually. This research expands the use of ANFIS in building the full closed loop computer simulator for the three-phase regulator loop. THe ANFIS models inuts and outpus selected for this project were tried for the first time in this research. The simulator components were trained and verified by the use of plant recorded data in the open loop mode. The response of the closed loop simulator was tuned to follow the behavior of the plant EAF. Therefore the simulator works independent of the plant data or operation commands. The developed simulator, then, was used to measure the results of applying new controls in EAF such as fuzzy controllers, without disturbing the actual plant process.
