This Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to increase primary students’ understanding of the dangers of Covid 19 and educate them on how to prevent it through correct health protocols and being able to implement a healthy lifestyle. The targets of this program are high grade of primary students, namely grade 4, grade 5, and grade 6. The method used in this education is storytelling in an interactive online style via zoom platform. Stories are conveyed in English with simple language and sentences to make them easier to understand, besides that the delivery is combined with Indonesian so that children understand the meaning and are able to imitate certain sentences and movements well. The implementation of this program makes students enthusiastic and excited, especially using English. The students feel cooler when they listen to stories and speak English. Children enthusiastically mimic, sing and perform healthy protocol movements in interesting ways. Thus, children are able to understand the contents of the stories and values ??that are conveyed, so that they are able to apply them to new good habits in the era of new normal life. As conclusion, the storytelling method is able to provide a good understanding of the Covid 19 pandemic for children, so that awareness emerges to apply health protocols in their daily life

Inflammasome complexes play a pivotal role in different cancer types. NOD-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome is one of the most well-studied inflammasomes. Activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome induces abnormal secretion of soluble cytokines, generating advantageous inflammatory surroundings that support tumor growth. The expression levels of the NLRP3, PYCARD and TLR4 were determined by immunohistochemistry in a cohort of primary invasive breast carcinomas (BCs). We observed different NLRP3 and PYCARD expressions in non-tumor vs tumor areas (p<0.0001). All the proteins were associated to more aggressive clinicopathological characteristics (tumor size, grade, tumor proliferative activity etc.). Univariate analyses were carried out and related Kaplan-Meier curves plotted for NLRP3, PYCARD and TLR4 expression. Patients with higher NLRP3 and TLR4 expression had worse 5-year disease-free survival (DFS) compared to patients with lower NLRP3 and TLR4 expression (p =0.021 and p = 0.009, respectively). In multivariate analysis, TLR4 was confirmed as independent prognostic factors for DFS (HR = 2.03, 95% CI 1.16–3.57, p = 0.014), and high NLRP3 expression showed a slight association with DFS (HR = 1.75, 95% CI 0.98–3.15, p = 0.06). In conclusion, we showed TLR4 expression as independent prognostic factors and we highlighted for the first time that high expression of NLRP3 is linked to a poor prognosis in BC patients. These results suggest that NLRP3 and TLR4 could be two new good prognostic factor for BC patients.

In particular business transactions, the supplier usually provides an admissible delay in settlement to its vendor to encourage further sales. Additionally, the demand for the commodity is inversely proportional to the function of the sales price, which is non-linear and, in some situations, a holding cost rises over time. Moreover, many goods often deteriorate consistently and shall not be sold after their expiration dates. This study analyses a model for perishable products with a maximum life span with price-dependent demand and trade credit by assimilating these variations and under the supposition of time-varying holding cost. Furthermore, to diminish the rate of deterioration, investment for preservation technology is often taken into account beforehand. Based on real-life circumstances, shortages are admitted and backlogged partially, with an exponential rise in wait time before the new good emerges. The key ambition is to calculate the optimum investment under preservation, sales price, and cycle time using the classical optimization algorithm to maximize the vendor’s net profit. Additionally, to clarify the outcomes, the numerical illustrations are addressed, and the sensitivity analysis of significant parameters is eventually implemented.

Research suggests that many sheep farmers continue to carry out traditional antibiotic use practices despite new ’good practice’ recommendations. The aim of this study was to group farmers depending on their attitudes around antibiotic use and antibiotic resistance, and determine the behaviours that are associated with the farmers in these groups. In 2017, a flock health survey was sent to British sheep farmers. K-means cluster analysis was used to identify groups of farmers with similar attitudes towards antibiotic use and resistance. A multivariable logistic regression model was built to determine the associations between farmers’ past behaviours and their antibiotic attitude group. There were 461 responses. Two groups of farmers were identified based on their antibiotic attitudes. Cluster 1 were defined as the "discordant" group who had positive views of using antibiotics prophylactically and negative views of reducing antibiotic use. Cluster 2 were defined as the "concordant" group who were positive about reducing antibiotic use and had negative views about using antibiotics prophylactically. Using antibiotics in all lambs (OR = 2.689, CI = 1.571, 4.603), using antibiotics in all ewes (OR = 3.388, CI = 1.318, 8.706), always trimming diseased feet over the past three years (OR = 2.487, CI = 1.459, 4.238), not using a computer to record information over the past three years (OR = 1.996, CI = 1.179, 3.381), not changing worming practices over the past three years (OR = 1.879, CI = 1.144, 3.087), and farmers’ perceptions that their sheep flock did not make a financial loss in the past three years (OR = 2.088, CI = 1.079, 4.040) were significantly associated with belonging to the discordant group. Talking to their veterinarian about antibiotic use or the frequency of veterinary visits were not associated with antibiotic attitude group. These results suggest that farmers who had attitudes relating to antibiotic use that did not align with current recommendations carried out more traditional practices, which were strengthened by their positive perceptions of profitability.

During times of crises such as the present COVID-19 pandemic in Canada, digital helpers emerge as key agents of the promotion of digital literacy in society. Using data from the CPSS-5 national survey, the authors looked at the digital help provided by individuals to various demographic cohorts during the pandemic period in Canada. This survey comprised 3,961 adult respondents aged 15 years old who were interviewed in September, 2020. Digital helpers assisted fellow Canadians in through navigating digital technologies such as videoconferencing, online voice chats, online shopping sites or educational resources. Digital helpers comprised 48% of the total adult population where the most typical form was the assistance of adult respondents aged 18 to 64 years old. Assistance to specific demographic cohorts such as children, teens and seniors varied according to the socio-demographic profiles of helpers. Multivariate analysis of seven typical types of digital help suggests that the likelihood of digital help increased with a younger age of the helper, the presence of a child living at home, university education, urban residence status and/or living in large households. Overall, digital help outcomes appeared to be linked to the life course position of the individual and the types of family or non family networks situated around the helper. The role of young married women living with children and other individuals as the new "Good Samaritans" of digital help is relevant in this regard.

This article discusses various options for studying the classic Evans model for assessing the dynamics of price setting for a new good in the conditions of uncertainty in the behavior of the market and the producer. The Evans model with fuzzy coefficients for supply and demand curves was used for modeling. As a result, it was found that when the level of opportunity for the parameters of the supply and demand curves change, the ranges of the equilibrium price will change, as well as the time of its establishment – the achievement of the equilibrium level. In addition, modeling was produced taking into account the lag in the supply from around the delay in the receipt of information on sales. The introduction of a fuzzy lag into the Evans model at a certain ratio of supply and demand parameters leads to significant price fluctuations, which can upset the equilibrium in the market, as well as lead to significant fluctuations in profit for the producer. The implementation of the Evans model with a lag in the proposal was carried out using the Simulink program of the Matlab. As a result of modeling, the dependences of the time for establishing the equilibrium price and the elevation of the price amplitude over its equilibrium value were obtained as a function of the opportunity’s level.

<p>To lower operating temperatures of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), the development of ion-conducting oxides with high conductivity and durability is desired. In this work, we investigated Zr-substituted “Ba3Y4O9” as an ionic conductor at intermediate temperatures and found that the Zr substitution for Y dramatically improves the phase stability in humidified atmospheres at 300-800 °C. The total electrical conductivity of 20 mol% Zr-substituted Ba3Y4O9 is about 1 mS/cm at 700 °C in dry H2 and O2 atmospheres and the contribution of electronic conduction (both hole and electron) is relatively small compared with Y-doped BaZrO3 (BZY) and Gd-doped CeO2 (GDC) which are typical intermediate-temperature ionic conductors. Besides, in the Zr-substituted “Ba3Y4O9” samples, we observed that BaO-rich amorphous phase coexists with the main phase whose composition is estimated to be Ba:(Y+Zr) ~ 2:3. Therefore, the main conducting phase might be Ba-deficient Ba3Y4O9. The mechanism of the ionic conduction and the improvement of chemical stability has not been revealed yet due to the lack of crystallographic information about the Ba-deficient phase. While we are now working on further investigation, we promptly report the characteristic of the new compound.</p>
