The article is devoted to the phenomenon of modern youth’s infantilization, attracting more and more attention of researchers. The view of infantilism as a kind of youth disease generated by a change in socio-cultural reality and digitalization is opposed the interpretation of infantilism as an artificially derived category (media product). The data of a pilot “image of an adult “ study (in young people perception) are presented. The thesis that in modern realities the “adult image” is at the stage of critical rethinking is proposed.

ABSTRACT Objective: To translate and adapt the eHealth Literacy Scale for the cultural reality of Brazil and to evaluate the psychometric properties of its Brazilian Portuguese version. Methods: The instrument was translated and adapted to Brazilian Portuguese and applied to a sample of 502 individuals from 18 to 80 years old who lived in the surrounding areas of six Family Health Units of a city in the countryside of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The data was evaluated using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, item response theory, and instrument reliability measures (Cronbach’s alpha and McDonald’s omega). Results: The eHealth Literacy Scale - Brazilian version (eHEALS-Br) presented an excellent internal consistency (α = 0.95 e ω = 0.95), with only one dimension and an explained variation of 81.79%. Conclusions: The Brazilian version of the instrument showed excellent psychometric properties to measure the levels of digital health literacy in adults from the country.

The article is the first part of a comprehensive study on representations of Hutsuls and the Hutsul region in the interwar Polish literature, which showed them during the First World War and the wars for the borders of the Second Polish Republic, as well as in the 1920s and 1930s. The article discuses, first and foremost, literary visions of Hutsuls and their native land in the wartime. It argues that these visions were deeply affected by war events that took place in the Eastern Carpathians in 1914–1915, when Polish soldiers from the 2nd and 3rd Legions Infantry Regiments fought with Russians and occasionally cooperated with some military volunteers recruited from the Hutsul community. The interwar Polish literature showed the Eastern Carpathians as a space where Polish soldiers’ bravery and dedication to the national cause were distinctly manifested. It also described and, as a matter of fact, exaggerated acts of fraternization between Polish legionnaires and the Hutsuls. This way the Polish literature imposed an important, patriotic significance to the Hutsul region and strengthened its position in the Polish national memory. Simultaneously, it showed the whole Hutsul community as allies of Poles in the fight for independence. This literary approach suggested that Hutsuls had their own history and cultural reality that differed from the Ukrainian one but fit in well with the history and contemporary times of Poles.

The purpose of the article is the conceptualization and rethinking of the meaning of Ukrainian children's folklore as an integral part of the structure of Ukrainian folk art culture and carefully crafted magic rituals. Updating the concept «Ukrainian children's folklore» in the context of cultural knowledge, defining the essence of this phenomenon in the chronotope of the 21st century and evaluating temporal and spatial unity, which contributes to the preservation of the national cultural heritage, the dialogue of different cultures and human unity, is also the goal of the work. The delineation of the essence of this phenomenon in the chronotope of the XXI century and the assessment of temporal-spatial unity, which contributes to the preservation of the national cultural heritage and dialogue of different cultures, is also the goal and object of analysis. The methodology consists in applying comparative and concrete-historical methods for conceptualization of Ukrainian children's folklore in the context of national folk art culture, use of formal method, as well as hermeneutic interpretation method for analysis of the concept of «children's folklore» and its functions in today's chronotope. The scientific novelty lies in the actualization and conceptualization in the context of culturological knowledge of Ukrainian folklore, including children's (riddles), as a complex phenomenon and an integral part of the morphology and typology of national folk art culture in the chronotope of the XXI century. Scientific novelty also consists in revealing on the basis of delineation and comprehension of essence, dynamics of laws of development and an estimation of internal structure and space-time unity of functions of the Ukrainian national art culture, consideration of interaction of oral folk art of the childhood and dialogue of various cultures. Conclusions. In modern socio-cultural reality the question of understanding the chronotope of Ukrainian folk art culture as a dialectical unity of traditional and innovative models of life in space and time and conceptualization of Ukrainian children's folklore (riddles) in the context of culturological knowledge as an integral part of morphology and typology of national folk art culture. Ukrainian children's folklore in its diversity of forms, types, functions, purposes is an attractive phenomenon that requires further conceptualization and continuation of thorough research. Defining the essence of this phenomenon in the chronotope of national folk culture contributes to the preservation of national cultural heritage and dialogue of different cultures in the XXI century. Among the accounts of travels in Spain in the 1st half of the 19th century, there is a rather unknown memoir of Piotr Falkenhagen-Zaleski, written on the basis of his 1843 experiences. This exceptionally capable and flexible emigrant began his career in international trade, having successfully tried his hand at journalism and politics in the past. He became an employee at the Henry Hall department store in London, and then opened his own company of the same sort, establishing contacts in many European countries. The travel to Spain aimed at securing another contract. It appears that he did not achieve this goal. On the other hand, the stay behind the Pyrenees, mainly in Barcelona and Madrid, and the very travel from France to Spain allowed the Polish traveller to become familiar with two elements of the Spanish (political and cultural) reality through an incident with the Carlists and the corrida spectacle. He put those experiences in an interesting, although brief report from Spain.

False Friends between Romanian and Spanish in the Headlines of the Online Romanian Journals in Spain. As they are historically related languages, Romanian and Spanish share more than two hundred false friends (for example: amar ≠ amar, but amargo; nervos ≠ nervioso, but enfadado; a se apropia ≠ apropiarse, but acercarse etc.). So far, few studies have been written related to this type of lexical phenomenon between Romanian and Spanish and most of them are linked to the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. Until decades ago, Romanian and Spanish were not in direct contact, due to the location of the two countries at the margins of Europe, but since the massive immigration of Romanian to Spain in the 1990s, we can speak of direct contact and interference between these languages. I opted for the analysis of this type of phenomenon in the headlines of the Romanian press that is published online by and for the immigrant community who lives in Spain. I will investigate to what extent this aspect is reflected in the headlines which present the Romanian political, economic, social and cultural reality within a period of six months, between the 1st of July and 31st of December 2020. The newspapers which I will refer to are the following: ziarulromanesc.es, romanul.eu, periodicoelrumano.es, noiinspania.com and occidentul-romanesc.com. The objects, items, things that are most often used in the film texts of modern Russian cinema require close attention from the film culture point of view. The material world helps to realize the value of an object and its influence on the subject. The attitude to things and objects characterizes modern society from the point of view of order-chaos. Contemporary domestic film texts are interpreted by specialists and spectators, intended for a wide audience of the audience. A person is immersed in a system of symbols, and in cinema he seeks confirmation of this or that stable element of the virtual world, which he correlates with his real experience. Things, objects and objects can tell about the main thing, so they cannot be ignored, pass by this or that symbolic object.

This article aims to analyze the beginning of the transition from logos to myth. To incorporate the religious into his Enlightenment philosophical system, Schelling presents a reconstruction of myth. The conceptions of the religious consciousness of the Self from antiquity as presented. The myth embodies cultural reality and the history of self-consciousness, an idea that was later considered by Mircea Eliade. Myths evolve in parallel with human evolution. The need for the development of abstract thinking and the complex social environment presuppose the new mythology. Christianity in history appears as part of the mechanism of human development, which generally symbolizes the transition from mythology to Christianity. Theology must abstract mythologies from the purely divine, but together they participate in the formation of human consciousness.

Literature is an arena for cross-cultural representation par excellence. It is in the literature that images produce an awareness of the Self and Other, and of the Here and the Elsewhere, however small that awareness maybe. The accounts of many canonical literary figures in the history of literature featured portrayals and descriptions of radically different people and customs, exotic lands, and far-off places where everything is outlandish and anomalous. Literary representation, therefore, plays a pivotal role in shaping perception, creating historical and textual monoliths, stereotypes, and essentialization about ethnic minorities, race, sexuality, and gender. This article investigates the politics of representation of the Self and the Other in Zakia Khairhoum’s novel The End of My Dangerous Secret (Nihayat Sirri L’khatir, 2008) from a postcolonial feminist’s point of view. I argue that Khairhoum does not only shatter the foundations of patriarchy in the Arab world but also undermines and subverts Western colonial discourse and its claim of supremacy. The novel foregrounds a different pattern of representation that has not yet been sufficiently investigated, which is the denigration of both the Self and the Other and the quest for a third cultural reality that is defined in terms of gender equality, justice, human rights and democracy.

The role of culture, especially the American culture, in group work is relatively understudied because it is often presumed to be no different from the colonialist West, or is alternatively stereotyped as individualistic and competitive. Thus, this paper studies English-language proverbs used in America, as culturally rich symbols, at three levels of discourse, conceptual metaphor, and content to discern what attitude American culture, as represented in the proverbs, has to group work, and what world views and psychosocial factors can inform such attitudes. The findings suggest that American culture is marginally cooperation friendly, with a considerable penchant for individualism and competition. This ambivalence was not simply a proverbial phenomenon, rather a cultural reality because it was observed to be the result of the interplay between heterogeneous conceptual metaphors, representing different world views. Psychosocially, many factors were observed to have molded the American culture’s attitude to group work, noticeably, egoism, distrust, altruism, and socially shared cognition.
