Abstract The presence of weeds in areas of agricultural activities is a hinderance to the development of these activities. It is important to take advantage of the vast open spaces suitable for agriculture and provide food security for humans, and also it is an important indicator for determining the feasibility of growing crops, benefiting from yield and determining the percentage of loss, clearing fields through agricultural practices, that protect crops from weed attack and agricultural practice method must be followed that will reduce weed presence. This study was conducted during the years 2018 to 2020 to evaluate Portulacaceae of Flora in the Taif area in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at different altitudes (Area 1 =1700 m, Area 2 =1500 m, Area 3 =1500 m, Area 4 =500 m ِ Area 5 = 2200 m, and Area 6 = 2200 m). The results show that there were 2,816 individuals of Portulaca oleracea weed, with the highest density found in A 1, followed by A 2, while in A 5 and A 6, no weeds were recorded. The highest density of weeds were in the Pomegranate fields, followed by Grape fields. The lowest density was found in A man field. The results of this study will help to take the necessary measures to combat weeds and its management in areas of agricultural activity, while more studies are needed to survey the ecology of weeds of Taif in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The empowerment of village community health is crucial to improve, one of which is by increasing family-based human resources. The ability to recognize the condition of the family's health status at an early stage can speed up the process of assisting health services based on the problems at hand, which can be accelerated with the Independent Family Health Evaluation (IFHE) application system. The dissemination of IFHE was carried out on August 9, 2021 in Tutul Healthy Village task force group, attended by 47 participants from the Community Association (RW) and Posyandu using the direct practice method. Later on, this group continued to disseminate information to the community through trial 1 and trial 2, each of which was held on 11-13 August 2021 for 400 families. From the dissemination program resulted that 319 families had no health risks, 64 families had a low risk, 10 families had a moderate risk and 7 families had a high risk. The IFHE application is very beneficial in quickly identifying the family health status. It is recommended that families routinely report their family's health status through the IFHE, so that the healthcare workers can use the information in making decisions to improve public health

Elucidating the factors that contribute to healthy ageing is an important research goal. Physical activity (PA) has been associated with benefits for cognitive function (CF). However, most of this evidence comes from longitudinal cohort studies which, in the absence of experimental design, have limited scope to make causal inferences regarding observed relationships. This review aimed to utilise recent methodological developments allowing researchers to formulate and answer stronger causal questions using observational data, by following a best-practice method for synthesising evidence to produce a graphical causal model known as a directed acyclic graph (DAG). Following a search of 3 databases (EMBASE, MEDLINE and PsycINFO), 21 observational studies on the PA-CF relationship were reviewed and their methodological quality, characteristics, and key findings were summarised. The outcomes of interest were the covariates and modelling practices employed in each study. The reported covariates were synthesised against a set of criteria to determine their role in the DAG as confounders or mediators of the PA-CF relationship. Every included study had some areas of methodological weakness. The resulting DAG included a wide range of biopsychosocial covariates spanning the entire life-course and indicated potential intermediate pathways between PA and CF via structural brain health. Strengths, limitations and implications of this review for modelling decisions are discussed, prior to the model being taken forward to inform an empirical analysis using data from the UK Biobank cohort, separate from this review.

The hospital is a health service organization that provides comprehensive health services that achieve promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative aspects for the community. The application of the Professional Nursing Practice Method (MPKP) can illustrate the efforts of various countries to improve the quality of nursing care and the working environment of nurses in hospitals. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of MPKP in hospitals. This research design uses a literature review, which is a series of studies relating to the method of collecting library data, or research whose research objects are explored through various library information (books, encyclopedias, scientific journals, newspapers, magazines, and documents) from several journals that have been researched by previous researchers who have been screened with inclusion and exclusion criteria using several databases namely google shoolar, lib UI, and SINTA which will be used as a literature review in this study. There are 155 journals according to keywords which are screened into 10 journals according to the theme and analyzed which examines the application of the Professional Nursing Practice Method (MPKP). The results showed that the implementation of MPKP was in the good category and was more dominant, namely 40% in the nursing care system. In the application of the maximum Professional Nursing Practice Method (MPKP) and good categories, nurses must make professional values, professional relationships, management approaches, nursing care systems, and reward compensation systems according to nursing standards by looking at performance and determining the appropriate MPKP model.

Abstract. This study investigates Lithuanian females’ personal investment peculiarities in line with Australia’s case analysis and application as a good practice method. Based on many publicly available research females tend to have less knowledge about finances in general and particularly investment processes; hence, it leads to their lack of interest into investing and the possibility of poor money management. This issue might be solved by investigating why it appears first and adopting the practical example from countries with developed investment market. In the case of comparison of personal investment strategies among Lithuanian and Australian females the two sets of questionnaires have been used to collect the data for further analysis. The main findings revealed by the survey were, that women in Australia had a higher financial literacy level, invested more often, and chose broader variety of investment instruments compared to Lithuanian females. Moreover, the significant discovery of the article disclosed that Lithuanian females chose not to invest due to the lack of additional funds and the shortage of financial knowledge. The main limitation occurred during the research was the lack of the available data on personal investment topic in Lithuania’s official statistic sources such as The Lithuanian Department of Statistics. The results of the research contribute towards improving Lithuanian female personal finance and investment areas and could be applied to further studies or used for the education program dedicated to financial literacy among women in Lithuania creation. Furthermore, this article creates an original value to personal finance, investment, and financial literacy areas in Lithuania by introducing an idea to not only conduct more studies in these fields, but also to use comparative analysis and good practice method from the countries that demonstrates high achievements in personal finance and gender equality areas. Keywords: personal investment management, female investment, financial literacy, investor’s profile, investing, investment options, investment strategies. Ramp metering that uses traffic signals to regulate vehicle flows from the on-ramps has been widely implemented to improve vehicle mobility of the freeway. Previous studies generally update signal timings in real-time based on predefined traffic measurements collected by point detectors, such as traffic volumes and occupancies. Comparing with point detectors, traffic cameras—which have been increasingly deployed on road networks—could cover larger areas and provide more detailed traffic information. In this work, we propose a deep reinforcement learning (DRL) method to explore the potential of traffic video data in improving the efficiency of ramp metering. Vehicle locations are extracted from the traffic video frames and are reformed as position matrices. The proposed method takes the preprocessed video data as inputs and learns the optimal control strategies directly from the high-dimensional inputs. A series of simulation experiments based on real-world traffic data are conducted to evaluate the proposed approach. The results demonstrate that, in comparison with a state-of-the-practice method, the proposed DRL method results in (1) lower travel times in the mainline, (2) shorter vehicle queues at the on-ramp, and (3) higher traffic flows downstream of the merging area. The results suggest that the proposed method is able to extract useful information from the video data for better ramp metering controls.

The purpose of this study is to construct and propose real-time online college writing teaching methods to promote interaction between class members (instructor-learner, learner-learner). Through surveys and interviews with learners who hadn’t experienced real-time, online college writing education, we confirmed that the main perceptions and demands of learners for real-time online classes were as follows: First, the learners’ reluctance to show oneself in such a class and the demand for interaction with minimal online exposure. Second, the burden of writing in an isolated environment and the demand for detailed assistance of instructor’s in the writing process. Third, the reluctance to show the learner’s written text and the demand for receiving sufficient feedback anonymously. Therefore, this study proposed the following three teaching methods: First, a method to ensure learner anonymity to allow learners to participate in classes using a “sub-character” rather than their real names. Second, to conduct a short [lecture-practice-feedback] method, instead of a one-time [lecture-practice] method, was implemented several times in one class. Thirdly, to simultaneously share the learners' practice results through chat windows and to provide multiple types of feedback. This study confirmed that the proposed methods promote interaction between members in an online writing education environment and generate positive teaching and learning effects by reviewing specific class application cases and the learners' responses to these classes.

<b><i>Introduction:</i></b> Prostate biopsy (PB) is a typical daily practice method for the diagnosis of prostate cancer (PCa). This study aimed to compare the PCa detection rates and peri- and postoperative complications of PB among 3 residents and a consultant. <b><i>Patients and Methods:</i></b> A total of 343 patients who underwent PB between August 2018 and July 2019 were involved in this study. Residents were systematically trained for 2 weeks by a consultant for performing systematic biopsy (SB) and targeted biopsy (TB). And then, 3 residents and the consultant performed PB independently every quarter due to routine rotation in daily practice. The peri- and postoperative data were collected from a prospectively maintained database (www.pc-follow.cn). The primary outcome and secondary outcome were to compare the PCa detection rates and complications between the residents and consultant, respectively. <b><i>Results:</i></b> There was no significant difference between the residents and consultant in terms of overall PCa detection rates of SB and TB or further stratified by prostate-specific antigen value and prostate imaging reporting and data system (PI-RADS) scores. We found the consultant had more TB cores (175 cores vs. 86–114 cores, <i>p</i> = 0.043) and shorter procedural time (mean 16 min vs. 19.7–20.1 min, <i>p</i> &#x3c; 0.001) versus the residents. The complication rate for the consultant was 6.7% and 5%–8.2% for the residents, respectively (<i>p</i> = 0.875). <b><i>Conclusions:</i></b> The residents could get similar PCa detection and complication rates compared with that of the consultant after a 2-week training. However, the residents still need more cases to shorten the time of the biopsy procedure.
