This study aimed to determine the effect of competence, work discipline and placement on job satisfaction and their impact on the performance of Information and Communication Technology Security Service institutions. This research uses quantitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. The variables in this study are divided into three types: 1) Independent Variables, 2) Intervening Variables, and 3) Bound Variable. The data in this study are divided into primary data and secondary data. The sample in this study is several 230 employees who have worked at the Information and Communication Technology Security Service Institute for at least one year in January 2021 and are spread over the work unit of the Information and Communication Technology Security Service Institute. Analysis of the data in this study using validity test, reliability test, direct effect test, indirect effect test and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) Competence, work discipline, job placement directly have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; 2) Competence and job placement have no positive and significant effect on performance; 3) Work Discipline directly affects performance; 4) Placement through job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on performance; and 5) Job satisfaction directly has a positive and significant effect on performance.

This study examines the role of recruitment and job placement at PT. Indomarco Adi Prima Surabaya influence work productivity. This research with a quantitative approach has 60 populations. The tests performed were data analysis of validity, reliability, and classic assumption tests, including normality test, autocorrelation test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. Furthermore, hypothesis testing includes test (R2), T statistical test, F statistical test, and multiple linear regression test. Data collection use observations, interviews and (primary) questionnaires. Data analysis use multiple linear regression with SPSS (v.18). The results showed that partially and simultaneously, the variables of recruitment and job placement had a significant positive effect on employee work productivity. Partially the better the recruitment system, the better work productivity will be. Likewise, a good job placement will increase employee work productivity. Furthermore, simultaneously the variable recruitment and good work placement will increase employee productivity.

The present investigation was carried out at, Nangarhar, Laghman and Kunar Universities Eastern zone of Afghanistan during 2019. Data were collected from 120 final year students from B.Sc. Agriculture Faculty. Studying with the help of structured presented interview schedule to know the Sources of information utilized for job placement. The study revealed that most of the students in general used mass media sources to a maximum extent followed by informal and formal Sources. Among the mass media sources, most of the students used website followed by Newspaper and Journals. Among informal sources and University, placement cell followed by Agricultural majority of the students utilized officers and consultants among formal sources in general. Most of the students used formal source of information (website) in Nangarhar, kunar and laghman (72.50 %), (62.50%) and (70.00 %) respectively. where in the informal source of information which is used by the students in Kunar, Laghman and Nangarhar Universities were friends 75%,70% and 55% respectively.

The primary purpose of the study is to investigate the likelihood of a Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) participant getting a job placement after receiving training, and to identifying the factors that affect the attainment of self-sufficiency (Bloom and Charles, 2001; Friedlander, 1988; Gueron and Edward, 1991). Additionally, the research study focuses on learning more about the determinants of the wage rate at the time when a participant gets a placement. This study has found that successful completion of training combined with prior work experience are the most important factors that affect the chance of getting a job placement. This finding is consistent with Eberts (2002) and Schexnayder et al. (1991). Furthermore, the results show that the most significant variables affecting self-sufficiency are (1) completion of long-term training and (2) reading ability. An additional finding of the study is that if the participant is a recipient of food stamps, then his/her probability of achieving self-sufficiency decreases. Our study’s main contribution is the identification of significant variables to be included in the development of workforce policies aiming at promoting economic self-sufficiency and mitigating poverty in Florida.

The present study accentuated a hybrid approach to evaluate the impact, association and discrepancies of demographic characteristics on a student’s job placement. The present study extracted several significant academic features that determine the Master of Business Administration (MBA) student placement and confirm the placed gender. This paper recommended a novel futuristic roadmap for students, parents, guardians, institutions, and companies to benefit at a certain level. Out of seven experiments, the first five experiments were conducted with deep statistical computations, and the last two experiments were performed with supervised machine learning approaches. On the one hand, the Support Vector Machine (SVM) outperformed others with the uppermost accuracy of 90% to predict the employment status. On the other hand, the Random Forest (RF) attained a maximum accuracy of 88% to recognize the gender of placed students. Further, several significant features are also recommended to identify the placement of gender and placement status. A statistical t-test at 0.05 significance level proved that the student’s gender did not influence their offered salary during job placement and MBA specializations Marketing and Finance (Mkt&Fin) and Marketing and Human Resource (Mkt&HR) (p > 0.05). Additionally, the result of the t-test also showed that gender did not affect student’s placement test percentage scores (p > 0.05) and degree streams such as Science and Technology (Sci&Tech), Commerce and Management (Comm&Mgmt). Others did not affect the offered salary (p > 0.05). Further, the χ2 test revealed a significant association between a student’s course specialization and student’s placement status (p < 0.05). It also proved that there is no significant association between a student’s degree and placement status (p > 0.05). The current study recommended automatic placement prediction with demographic impact identification for the higher educational universities and institutions that will help human communities (students, teachers, parents, institutions) to prepare for the future accordingly.

South Dakota is one of the nation’s most rural and frontier states and has the highest proportion of rural dwellers in the Midwest.  Many of the state’s counties suffer from provider shortages, with nurse practitioners increasingly being called upon to fill the role of the primary care provider in clinics and critical access hospitals. However, family nurse practitioner (FNP) education programs are not required to provide the training and skills necessary to meet the unique challenges of rural practice. An Upper Midwest land grant university prepares both masters and doctoral FNP students to fill primary care provider needs in South Dakota and the surrounding region. The purpose and scope of this two-year Advanced Nursing Education Workforce (ANEW) project was to enhance an existing academic/practice partnership to prepare primary care advanced practice registered nursing (APRN) students for practice in rural and/or underserved settings in the state and region. The ANEW project provided FNP students with a longitudinal primary care clinical traineeship experience in rural clinical settings. Trainees benefited from traineeship funds, learning advanced procedures and skill concepts through attendance at a series of educational workshops, and job placement efforts postgraduation. The ANEW project also provided for a comprehensive preceptor development collaborative designed to enhance competence and confidence for independent rural practice and facilitate job placement in rural communities after graduation. This project strengthened the quality of FNP education through an academic/practice partnership which resulted in a symbiotic, synergistic relationship to address rural work force supply and the identification of the knowledge and skills needed for current and future rural healthcare providers.
