Abstract: Computer vision is a process by which we can understand how the images and videos are stored and manipulated, also it helps in the process of retrieving data from either images or videos. Computer Vision is part of Artificial Intelligence. Computer-Vision plays a major role in Autonomous cars, Object detections, robotics, object tracking, etc. OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library) is an open source computer vision and machine learning software library. OpenCV was built to provide a common infrastructure for computer vision applications and to accelerate the use of machine perception in the commercial products. It comes with a highly improved deep learning (dnn ) module. This module now supports a number of deep learning frameworks, including Caffe, TensorFlow, and Torch/PyTorch. This does allow us to take our models trained using dedicated deep learning libraries/tools and then efficiently use them directly inside our OpenCV scripts. MediaPipe is a framework mainly used for building audio, video, or any time series data. With the help of the MediaPipe framework, we can build very impressive pipelines for different media processing functions like Multi-hand Tracking, Face Detection, Object Detection and Tracking, etc.

Experiencing visual art can inspire, be an overall positive leisure activity, and has been linked to improved cognition, especially in older adults. Access to artwork in a museum environment can comprise a variety of barriers, including difficulties linked to its visual experience for persons that are visually impaired. The present study explored the barriers and facilitators experienced by 15 older adults (age 65 to 93) living with age-related macular degeneration when using an iPad to access ArtontheBrain™, a virtual art museum recreation experience created by members of this team. Using the Concurrent Think Aloud method, participants were asked to continuously comment on their experiences with the application while being audio/video recorded. Indeed, codes were determined by identifying frequently stated and emphasized ideas or behaviors of participants using the ArtontheBrain™ application. Transcripts underwent thematic analysis and indicated that the main access barriers were linked to control of the contrast, magnification, and the tactile interface on the tablet device. The learn and play activities as well as the text-to-speech feature were identified as facilitators for ArtontheBrain™ engagement. The present findings should also be considered in the larger context of application development, as this study provides insight pertaining to the needs of low vision individuals regarding usability and accessibility.

Steganography is the art of concealing security data in media, such as pictures, audio, video, text, and protocols. The objective of this paper is hiding a secret message in a colour image to prevent an attacker from accessing the message. This is important because more people use the Internet all the time and network connections are spread around the world. The hidden secret message uses two general algorithms that are embedded and extracted. This paper proposes a new algorithm to conceal a secret message in a colour image in LSB. This algorithm includes three phases: 1) dividing the colour image into a number of blocks, 2) concealing the secret message, and 3) transmitting the stego-image from the sender in a multiplexer network and receiving it through a demultiplexer network using an electronic workbench. The outcome of the new algorithm demonstrates good efficiency, high security, and robustness and is executed quickly. The system is evaluated through the measurements of mean square error, peak signal-to-noise ratio, correlation, histogram, and capacity.

The onset of the COVID-19 global pandemic rapidly accelerated the use of virtual consultations into everyday practice. A solution focused approach (SFA) has been established in paediatric diabetes care, resulting in positive clinical outcomes and communication. The aim of this study was to assess feedback from paediatric diabetes patients and their parents or carers regarding virtual consultations, using a solution focused approach, in a hospital setting. An electronic survey was sent to patients following their virtual consultation. Of those surveyed, 86% recommended video consultations to be part of their diabetes care. Qualitative data showed reduced travel time, comfort, reduced need for parking and convenience as the highest areas improved through video consultations. Clinical care was shown to be positive and addressed patients concerns, the majority of respondents (84%) reported that the appointment was about what they wanted it to be about. Using the solution focused model helped overcome the challenges faced with virtual consultations particularly with concerns surrounding safeguarding issues, confidentiality, audio/video difficulties and also helped to support the patient journey.
