Endometriosis is a serious, often irreversible disease of the mare. Often associated with endometritis, this chapter will review our current understanding of pathophysiology, etiology, diagnosis and possible treatments. Endometriosis is a disease complex typically seen in our older mare population. It is important that we understand that although the same term is used to describe a condition in our human patients, it is, however, not the same medical condition as seen in our equine patients. As this disease profile is irreversible with limited treatment options, it causes significant economic strain in our broodmare population.

College students are more likely to develop psychological difficulties as a result of a lack of preparation, job counselling, and family, economic strain, which will affect their studies and lives throughout the school period. In order to assist students in overcoming obstacles and rebuilding confidence, the author analyses a case of a student disciplinary event in the hopes of discovering a solution and therefore improving job efficiency.

In children following asthma and epilepsy, diabetes is the third most prevalent chronic condition. More recently, the cumulative incidence of diabetes has started to grow significantly among children and adults. This has been partly influenced by the obesity pandemic in youth. Understandably, the health agencies and countries coping with the disease's important morbidity with possible grave complications have been placing an economic strain. More treatment discoveries have since broadened the list of alternatives for the drugs available. The use of plants to treat different human conditions is stated in Ayurveda and other Indian literature. India has approximately 48000 plant species and several thousand of them have claimed to have medicinal properties. Ants diabetic properties have been seen in research on plants described or historically used in ancient literature in the last few decades. The area of herbal medicine has grown exponentially in recent years, and both in the development and developed countries these medications are increasingly common due to their natural sources and fewer side effects. This study is aimed to provide information about the plant's anti-diabetes function based on the main evidence gathered from web search pages from different literature and science publications.

Introduction: Congestive Cardiac Failure (CCF) is an anomalous clinical condition involving insufficient heart pumping and filling. Cardiac failure causes the heart to be unable to provide enough blood to meet the tissue's oxygen needs. Heart disease is the most common explanation why older people are admitted to hospitals or are in need of palliation. This puts a huge economic strain on the health care system. The dynamic, progressive nature of heart failure also leads to poor results, with hospital readmissions being the costliest. About half of those patient die within 5 years after diagnosis. Case presentation [1]: A male patient of 62years from Aarvi Naka was admitted to Medicine Intensive Care Unit (MICU), AVBRH on 11th January 2020 with a known case of Ischemic Cardiomyopathy which was diagnosed itself at AVBRH on 22nd October 2018 and a known case of diabetes and hypertension for 10 years. My patient was brought to AVBRH Emergency Unit on 11th January 2020 with a chief complaint of breathlessness for 2 days, sweating over both feet for 5 days and generalized weakness for 2 weeks. He was having difficulty in breathing for about 2 days which eventually become severe on 11th January 2020 evening and was brought immediately to AVBRH and got admitted on the same day. The patient was delirious and vomit two times on admission.

Significance The security of high-profile and sensitive processes such as elections is particularly significant as it has implications for both government legitimacy and political stability. Impacts Pandemic-related economic strain could shrink necessary spending on cybersecurity. Skills shortages will remain a major impediment to boosting cybersecurity. Chinese investment in African IT infrastructure will rise.

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has caused significant disruption and disturbance in the lives of individuals across the globe. Especially during the early parts of the pandemic, parents took on increased caregiving responsibilities with little to no guidance from federal organizations. Further, economic strain made it difficult for parents meet their children's physical and emotional needs. Much of the research that has examined parenting during COVID-19 has stemmed from survey data. However, self-presentation biases may prevent survey researchers from obtaining authentic and accurate experiences from parents. Therefore, this study examined parents’ sentiment and emotional wellbeing during COVID-19 using Reddit data—specifically, posts from the Mommit and Daddit subreddits. Data were scraped using Python, and analyzed in R. Sentiment analysis was conducted using the NRC Word-Emotion Association Lexicon (i.e., EmoLex). Results suggested mothers and fathers were less trusting and angrier in late-summer 2020 compared to 2019. Additionally, mothers were more negative in March 2020 compared to March 2019, and mothers’ anticipation increased from March 2020-April 2020 (which did not occur in 2019). This suggests mothers in particular may have experienced initial distress due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Future research should continue to monitor the emotional wellbeing of parents as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

This study was conducted to determine the construct validity and reliability of the Caregiving Difficulty Scale, a tool developed to measure difficulties experienced by parents of children with cerebral palsy. To this end, a survey was conducted with 215 mothers of children with cerebral palsy, and the resultant data were analyzed. A confirmatory factor analysis was performed to verify the construct validity of this scale, and the intra-item fit value was calculated for reliability analysis. Validity analysis confirmed that a bi-factor model comprising four sub-factors, Concern for the Child, Impact on Self, Support for Caregiving, and Social and Economic Strain, was suitable for the Caregiving Difficulty Scale. In addition, the reliability analysis results showed that the reliability coefficients of three of these areas, excluding Social and Economic Strain, and the reliability of the entire scale were acceptable. Therefore, the Caregiving Difficulty Scale is an appropriate tool to measure the burden of caregiving for children with cerebral palsy, and the findings emphasize the need to improve its reliability by comparing sub-factors’ reliability.

This study aims to adapt the Economic Measures Index (EMI) in Turkish. EMI was developed by Conger et al. (1990) in order to measure couples/romantic partners' economic problems. It consists of independent subscales that measure economic hardship comprehensively. These subscales include economic hardship (indicators of family economic conditions and negative economic events), economic pressure (can't make ends meet, material needs and financial cutbacks) and financial concerns. Participants consisted of 278 students (152 girls and 126 boys) from 6th, 7th and 8th grades (secondary schools) and 9th, 10th and 11th grades (high schools) and their mothers and fathers. The Economic Strain Scale (ESS) developed to assess how often students experienced economic strain in their life were used to test the criterion validity of the EMI. The correlation coefficients between the EMI and ESS ranged between .25 and .31. The Cronbach's Alpha internal consistency coefficients of the subscales of the EMI ranged from 80 to .91. The split-half reliability coefficients of subscales ranged between .76 and .88. The analyses showed that the Turkish form of the EMI had sufficient validity and reliability values. Keywords: Economic hardship, economic pressure, financial concerns, validity, reliability
