Background: Prevalence of stunting continues to affect 21.3% of children aged <5 years worldwide. The problem of malnutrition in children is caused by several factors, such as poor access to nutritious food, recurrent infections, and inadequate practice of offering food and care for mothers and children during the first 1,000 days. Objectives: The purpose of the study was to know the effectiveness of feeding parenting style assistance to mothers of toddlers in increasing the nutritional intake of under-nutrition childrenMaterials and Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group design approach. The population in this study was toddlers with malnutrition (according to weight/height). The sample size for each group was 35 mothers. The sample was divided into two groups. The first group was given parental assistance consisting of nutrition education and food processing guidance for the toddler for 3 months (the intervention group) and the second group was given health education about balanced nutrition for children under five (the control group). Collecting data had used a checklist of identity, nutritional status, and semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire. Data were analyzed using paired t-test, p-value <0.05 for the 95% confidence interval. Results: The nutritional intakes of children under five showed a significant difference between the group of mothers under five who were given intensive assistance (the intervention group) and the group that was only given nutrition education for children under five (the control group). The differences in nutritional intakes seen in macronutrients were the difference in calorie intake (p-value: 0.042; CI: 4.005-213.543) and protein intake (p-value: 0.040; CI: 0.197-8.065). The differences in micronutrient intakes were seen in the increase in consumption of vitamin E (p-value: 0.000; CI: 0.446-4.416), sodium (p-value: 0.000; CI: 61.859-193.741), potassium (p-value: 0.005; CI: 70.743-373.102), calcium (p-value: 0.000; CI: 51.851-137.863), and phosphor (p-value: 0.041; CI: 2.133-99.604).Conclusion: Food parenting assistance for mothers of toddlers was effective in increasing toddler nutrition

This research uses the method qualitative (Classroom Action Research) which refers to observations and interviews. The learning carried out for early childhood uses the Blended-Learning method which is an approach using a mixed method between face-to-face and the use of technology for distance learning. Learning using blended-learning is suitable for the development of early childhood learning because teachers can directly interact or face-to-face through online media such as videocall, zoom, and google meet. Where this learning can also increase children's enthusiasm, school from home with parental assistance. Indonesia confirmed the spread of Covid-19 since the beginning of March 2020. Until now, this virus has had an impact on almost all areas of life, not only health but also the economy, especially education. In the field of education, the government implements regulations regarding online learning systems or Distance Learning (PJJ) by means of Study From Home (Learning From Home). Online learning is a new thing for educational institutions. Many obstacles that occur include the teacher still having difficulty in determining the use of appropriate media for international learning. Another obstacle is the lack of parental assistance. Therefore, the authors conducted online learning assistance for SD / MI students using interactive learning media. Researchers used mentoring strategies and the methods used were online and offline methods. The result of the mentoring process using interactive learning media is the increased interest, motivation and achievement of students and this is an ineffective solution to online learning problems. There are many factors in the implementation of online learning assistance for SD / MI students in Guci village, both supporters and obstacles. Among the supporting factors are the talents, high interest and motivation of students, family support, school, community. The inhibiting factors are the lack of facilities or infrastructure used for learning both online and face-to-face, the lack of discipline of students during face-to-face mentoring, lack of discipline in using masks, and so on.

Proper habits formed since childhood represent the ideal head start to help keep the environment clean, although this is not a standalone vital factor for a person to dislike littering behavior. The data used in this study were derived from the compilation of primary data. This paper concerns littering behavior of children and presents a survey conducted with 2349 individuals who completed a survey with relevant items and demographic information. The respondents were sampled with a purposive random sampling survey method. Then, by means of logistic regression, we found that low-income households need to be supported by disposal facilities and formal education, while high-income households need to be supported by awareness-raising on the issue. Moreover, it was found that in terms of environmental protection during the pre-school period, self-initiative and parental assistance were not sufficient to drive individual responses on littering behavior. However, there is the need to analyze, in further research, religious education and other extrinsic and intrinsic motivations about environmental care and waste management for children.
