Despite the increasing incidence of the condition, people with dementia face a double stigma: ageism and the stigma of mental illness. The stigmatization of the condition has negative consequences, and can even lead to self-stigmatization. To develop adequate education programs to overcome the harmful stigma, the degree and the characteristics of that stigmatization have to be identified. In this study, the content and the language of obituaries of well-known people with dementia are analyzed using a qualitative bottom-up approach. If mentioned, the dementia receives little attention and the information given does not exceed common knowledge. Euphemistic language such as metaphors is introduced not to circumvent the condition, but to palliate its degressive nature.

Education ought to be central to our lives—it should be, in Ralph Waldo Emerson’s phrase, “the main enterprise of the world.” In its broadest sense, education aims at three goals: to enable people to support themselves, to enable them to function as citizens, and to find fulfillment. In our times, changing features of the workplace environment provide opportunities to focus on the latter two goals, and to liberate education from supposed economic constraints. By doing so, we can improve the lives of individuals, and build more solid foundations for democracy. Philip Kitcher’s humanistic vision of educational reform is not, however, divorced from the realities of contemporary life nor doomed by any conflict with sound economics. After an accessible discussion of central philosophical questions, he examines the content of the curriculum, identifies the social changes required if a fully adequate education is to be provided to all, and considers how the proposals can be reconciled with financial stability. The Main Enterprise of the World renews classical pragmatism: with one eye on the ideal, and the other on the world, it presents a picture of education appropriate for our century.

Abstract: The study aimed to examine school drug education and agile leadership and lawlessness factors in children involving adults. This report led to a study on child narcotics crimes. 17 district court decisions from 2017-2020 are the unit of analysis, using the Question Nvivo-12 plus software process. The aim of using Nvivo-12 plus is to analyze data with a data coding model.  In addition, the writers also interviewed main witnesses, including judges who prosecuted child narcotics cases. . The data analysis procedure includes a validity test using triangulation of sources, time, and place. Grouping of data in the form of images and tables that have been processed for analysis with three data analysis techniques through percentages, making explanations, and comparing with theories or previous research results. According to the findings of the study, drugs education for youngsters involved in narcotics cases is critical. Furthermore, economic constraints, unsatisfactory home conditions, invites from acquaintances, and the influence of social media are all variables that lead to children committing narcotics offenses. In addition to these factors, the authors also found something new that makes children entangled in narcotics crimes, namely the involvement of adults who use children in the narcotics trade. For these factors, agile leadership is need, especially adult leaders with sensitivity, leadership unity, and quality of optimizing resources to protect children from the effects of drug abuse and the need to build particular educational institutions for children involved in crime. So children are given adequate education and skills, so they are not entangled again in drug cases..   Keywords: Drug Education, Violation of The Law, Criminal Act, Leadership Agility

Tuberculosis is the leading cause of major morbidities and mortalities around the globe. One in every three persons suffers from tubercular infection in their lifetime. Antitubercular therapy-induced hepatitis occurs due to toxicity from the primary compound, metabolite, or an immunologically mediated response. Risk factors associated with hepatotoxicity are age, sex, low BMI, hypoalbuminemia, alcohol consumption, HIV, hepatitis B, and C. There are 6 major pathways by which anti-TB drugs are involved in hepatotoxicity including hampering of intracellular calcium homeostasis, derangement of actin fibril assembly that occurs next to the canaliculus, the drug binds to the heme-containing cytochrome p-450 and forms enzyme-drug adduct and produces an immune response, The enzyme- drug addict when gets incorporated to vesicle acts as antigen for the production antibodies, some drugs also inhibit the ? oxidation and respiration and hence reduction in ATP production hence damaging cell and mitochondrial DNA, and some directly leads to apoptosis. Isoniazid is being metabolized to acetyl-isoniazid followed by hydrolysis to acetyl hydrazine via cytochrome P450 enzyme which produces toxic metabolites responsible for hepatotoxicity. Rifampicin activates the cytochrome enzyme and hence stimulates the production of harmful toxic materials leading to ATT-induced hepatotoxicity. It is the duty of the he pharmacist / medical staff has to provide the patient with adequate education about diseases and to inform them about their therapy regarding possible side effects and side effects. Pharmacists / medical staff must also train patients to comply with medication.

Audit quality is a representation of the auditor's performance as an audit service provider and also the auditee as an audit service user. As a liaison between the interests of users of financial statements and the interests of the company, auditors are required to improve the quality of their services which in turn will have an impact on quality audit results. Auditors with adequate education and experience and appropriate audit fee in performing audit services will have an effect on the quality of the resulting audit. This study aims to examine and prove the effect of education, experience and audit fee on audit quality. The data used are primary data in the form of questionnaires distributed to auditors, both senior auditors and junior auditors at Public Accounting Firms located in Sulawesi. The questionnaires distributed to respondents were 46 auditors and 42 questionnaires were returned and able to processed. This study used a quantitative approach with purposive sampling and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that education, experience and audit fee have an effect on audit quality Keywords: Education; Experience; Audit Fee; Audit Quality

Abstract Background Suicide is a leading cause of death in the US. Lethal means restriction (LMR), which encourages limiting access and reducing the lethality of particular methods of suicide, has been identified as a viable prevention strategy. For this approach to be successful, adequate education about risks and means must be communicated to families and individuals at risk for suicide. This systematic review aims to identify LMR methods most commonly communicated by healthcare providers in the emergency department, and barriers to the delivery of such counseling. Methods The protocol for this systematic review is registered with PROSPERO (CRD42018076734). Included studies were identified through searching four databases (PubMed, Scopus, PsycInfo, and EBSCO). Studies were selected and coded independently by two researchers using the PICOS framework. Included studies examined LMR counseling delivered in the ED regardless of patient age, sex or race/ethnicity. Results A total of 1282 studies were screened; 9 met the inclusion criteria. Included studies were published from 1998 to 2020. Study participants were majority female, and safe firearm storage was the most common form of LMR counseling provided. Eight studies included counseling on multiple forms of lethal means, [e.g., alcohol, medication, and firearm storage] and one study focused solely on safe firearm storage. Two studies reported barriers limiting healthcare providers’ delivery of LMR counseling, including lack of specialized skills and skepticism regarding the effectiveness of LMR counseling. Conclusion There is limited published evidence that identifies the most effective methods and target populations for LMR counseling. Given the growing literature that provides evidence of gender differences in suicide modality (e.g., guns, medications, suffocation), LMR counseling should be multifaceted, to address common means of suicide in both men and women. Despite evidence that the majority of suicide attempts and half of completed suicides do not involve firearms, results showed that LMR counseling is frequently focused on promoting the safe storage of firearms. This highlights the need to include counseling focused on a variety of lethal means to reduce risk of suicide completion. Prospective studies should also aim to identify the most efficacious methods of delivering LMR counseling in the clinical settings.

Abstract Background Mental health issues such as depression and anxiety are usually underdiagnosed and undertreated. Medications are one primary modality in the management of mental health problems. Hence, pharmacists have a vital role in supporting patients regarding medications’ efficacy and safety. However, the potential role of pharmacists in managing mental health issues in Jordan has not been well established. Aim This study aimed at assessing attitudes and actual practices of Jordanian pharmacists regarding providing mental health services. Method: This was a cross-sectional study that used a convenience sample of 347 pharmacists using a self-reported-based questionnaire, which took place in Amman, the capital of Jordan. Results Participating pharmacists had a positive attitude towards providing care for patients with mental health problems. However, their actual practice did not resonate with their enthusiasm, especially when it comes to long-term follow-up of disease symptom, medications’ side effects and adherence. Pharmacists were eager to collaborate with their colleagues, but the level of actual cooperation was less than desired. The most commonly reported barrier was the lack of education on mental health issues (71.5%), followed by lack of privacy in the pharmacy settings (53.9%). To effectively involve pharmacist in the care of mental health patients, pharmacists should receive adequate education/training in the mental health topics, and pharmacies should be redesigned to provide a private area for patient counseling. Conclusion To effectively involve pharmacist in the care of mental health patients, pharmacists should receive adequate education/training in the mental health topics, and pharmacies should be redesigned to provide a private area for patient counseling.

Summary Stress at the work place was declared by the World Health Organization as a worldwide epidemic. The stress caused by work appears when the balance between one’s own possibilities and the environment demands is disturbed, which leads to a poor mental state. The fact is that the majority of dentists find they are under constant stress, which is caused by the nature of dental work. Literature describes dentistry as an extremely stressful profession. The main stressors include the tendency toward technical perfection, the causation of pain in patients, the lack of patient cooperation during dental treatment, the failure to maintain the given appointments. Adequate education and preparation, even during dental studies, non-neglect of symptoms and difficulties at the work place, adequate and timely response to the identification of the cause and its elimination or balancing, have a key role in solving this great problem in modern dentistry.

: Background and aim. The review aimed to summarize advances in the topic of endocrine diseases and coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Methods. Scientific and institutional websites and databases were searched and data were collected and organized, when plausible, to angle the discussion toward the following clinical issues. (1) Are patients with COVID-19 at higher risk of developing acute or late-onset endocrine diseases or dysfunction? (2) May the underlying endocrine diseases or dysfunctions be considered risk factors for poor prognosis once the infection has occurred? (3) Are there defined strategies to manage endocrine diseases despite pandemic-related constraints? Herein, the authors considered only relevant and more frequently observed endocrine diseases and disorders related to the hypothalamic-pituitary region, thyroid and parathyroid glands, calcium-phosphorus homeostasis and osteoporosis, adrenal glands, and gonads. Main. Data highlight the basis of some pathophysiological mechanisms and anatomical alterations of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)-induced endocrine dysfunctions. Some conditions, such as adrenal insufficiency and cortisol excess, may be risk factors of worse clinical progression once the infection has occurred. These at-risk populations may require adequate education to avoid the SARS-CoV-2 infection and adequately manage medical therapy during the pandemic, even in emergencies. Endocrine disease management underwent a palpable restraint, especially procedures requiring obligate access to healthcare facilities for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Strategies of clinical triage to prioritize medical consultations, laboratory, instrumental evaluations, and digital telehealth solutions should be implemented to better deal with this probably long-term situation.

The Covid-19 pandemic which spread rapidly resulted in Islamic boarding schools closing teaching and learning activities, one of which was the Darullughah Wadda'wah Bangil Islamic Boarding School. In an effort to break the chain of the virus, Asatidz urged students to “stay safe,” “stay home” and “stay dars.” The appeal to “keep learning” is done online via Dalwa TV with a predetermined schedule. However, long before the pandemic, Darullughah Wadda'wah Islamic Boarding School was already actively conducting online studies via YouTube under the account name “Dalwa Tv.” This is none other than because the Darullughah Wadda'wah Islamic Boarding School is able to transform quickly. In addition, so that the alumni and guardians of students can take part in the studies conducted at the pesantren. This is evidence of the seriousness of the pesantren in educating students with an adequate education system, even though the students are not muqim in the pesantren. Especially the alumni and lovers of Darullughah Wadda'wah Islamic Boarding School.
