Abstract: Economic and political policy interventions were reflected on the economic development of the countries with respect to improving economic and social well-being of poor, market productivity and considerable growth rate in GDP. Specifically, in Indian context, these economic decisions have been a considerable influence on inclusive growth of the nation. It is evidence that India embarked on economic reforms in July, 1991, from the effect of a balance of payment crisis. The government initiated economic reforms basically is to provide an environment of sustainable growth and stability. Thereby the LPG (Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization) system has come to the picture for economic progress of the country. Thepresent study investigates the linkage between foreign trade trends of India and its economic development in the light of economic reforms in India since 25 years (1991-2016). The outcomes of the study strongly support that there is a causal relationship between exports to GDP and GDP to exports and also causality between imports to exports in India.

Purpose The purpose was to study the inter-dimensionality of three underlying dimensions -Task Performance (TP), Interpersonal Facilitation (IPF), and Job Dedication (JD) in. the Indian public sector, as seen by managers. Design/methodology/approach The study was based on a pen and paper survey with 162 managers from 13 PBUs in Bhubaneswar, capital of Odisha, a state in eastern India. Most have over 2,000 employees. The respondents were from a mixture of management levels, including junior management (52%), middle management (41%) and senior management (7%). They filled in 621 forms between them, 588 of which were usable. The questionnaire used had 22 items across the three dimensions. Findings The results showed that PSU managers do not perceive a difference between the performance measures, but that their ratings do not reflect that differentiation. Instead, they showed a concern for overall performance. Originality/value The authors said their study was the first to explore the perception of PSU managers on performance dimensionality in an Indian context.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has grown by leaps and bounds in the past few years making it a necessary tool for organizations all over the world to pave the road to a smart future by entering into its various functions and making it more efficient. However, companies in India have been hesitant and slow to adapt this technology, and this hesitation is ever so clearly seen in the human resources function of the organization. The primary purpose of this chapter is to explore the application, benefits and challenges of integration, and the limitations of AI in HRM within the Indian context. The study is relevant and beneficial to organisations that seek to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of their HRM functions by leveraging the power of AI.

The main purpose of this paper is to know about the recent status of big data analytics (BDA) on various manufacturing and reverse supply chain levels (RSCL) in Indian industries. In particular, it emphasises on understanding of BDA concept in Indian industries and proposes a structure to examine industries’ development in executing BDA extends in reverse supply chain management (RSCM). A survey was conducted through questionnaires on RSCM levels of 330 industries. Of the 330 surveys that were mailed, 125 completed surveys were returned, corresponding to a response rate of 37.87 percent, which was slightly greater than previous studies (Queiroz and Telles, 2018).The information of Indian industries with respect to BDA, the hurdles with boundaries to BDA-venture reception, and the connection with reverse supply chain levels and BDA learning were recognized.
