The local election is a political and democratic tool owned by the community after Indonesia's reformation. Aceh and its regencies and cities will carry out the local election in 2022. The central government's policy to postpone the implementation of the local election in 2024 has created a polemic in the community. Based on this phenomenon, this study aims to determine the problems that arise in political communication among the community against the central government's unilateral policy in delaying the implementation of the local election. The approach used was qualitative by using observation and interview techniques. The results of this study are: The Acehnese are disappointed with the central government's intervention in the form of a policy of postponing the local election, based on the justification that Aceh has the local regulation, that is called 2006 Aceh Government Law, where Aceh has independence in managing its household. Furthermore, the communication built by the Central Government is coercive communication, ignoring comprehensive communication from the community. With the ecological influence of the local election postponement policy and communication built by the central government, the people ignore the government's advice to keep the environment more conservative and ignore the fight against Covid-19.

We examine whether and how ride-sharing services influence the demand for home-sharing services. Our identification strategy hinges on a natural experiment in which Uber/Lyft exited Austin, Texas, in May 2016 due to local regulation. Using a 12-month longitudinal dataset of 11,536 Airbnb properties, we find that Uber/Lyft’s exit led to a 14% decrease in Airbnb occupancy in Austin. In response, hosts decreased the nightly rate by $9.3 and the supply by 4.5%. We argue that when Uber/Lyft exited Austin, the transportation costs for most Airbnb guests increased significantly because most Airbnb properties (unlike hotels) have poor access to public transportation. We report three key findings: First, demand became less geographically dispersed, falling (increasing) for Airbnb properties with poor (excellent) access to public transportation. Second, demand decreased significantly for low-end properties, whose guests may be more price-sensitive, but not for high-end properties. Third, the occupancy of Austin hotels increased after Uber/Lyft’s exit; the increase occurred primarily among low-end hotels, which can substitute for low-end Airbnb properties. The results indicate that access to affordable, convenient transportation is critical for the success of home-sharing services in residential areas. Regulations that negatively affect ride-sharing services may also negatively affect the demand for home-sharing services.

Abstract Background: Longitudinal bone growth is regulated by multiple endocrine signals (e.g. growth hormone, insulin-like growth factor I, estrogen, androgen) and local factors (e.g. fibroblast growth factors and their receptors and the C-natriuretic peptide/NPR-2 pathway). Summary: Abnormalities in both endocrine and local regulation of growth plate physiology cause many disorders of human skeletal growth. Knowledge of these pathways creates therapeutic potential for sustaining or even augmenting linear growth. Key message: During the past four decades, advances in understanding growth plate physiology have been accompanied by development and implementation of growth-promoting treatments that have progressed in both efficacy and specificity of action. This paper reviews the history and continuing evolution of growth plate therapeutics.

We present a new record and information on the distribution of the IUCN listed Tridacna crocea Lamarck, 1819 in the Philippines. The new record in Patnanungan Island extends the known distribution of this species by 80 km east of the nearest previously known occurrence. The collected specimens are found in shallow water at a depth of 3 m, exhibit a relatively small size, and showed the characteristic of completely burrowing its valves in coral substrates. DNA barcoding was also done, and the constructed phylogenetic tree demonstrated that the giant clams created a monophyletic group.  Tridacna crocea has a wide distribution and is relatively abundant throughout the Philippine reefs. We recommend updating the population status and stock assessment of giant clams in the country for local regulation and conservation management.

ABSTRACT Around 50.82% of the age group 15-19 years were smokers in Makassar city, one of which was influenced by tobacco ads exposure (National Institute of Health Research and Development, 2019b). This study aimed to evaluate the violation of tobacco product advertising to Local Regulation of South Sulawesi No. 1 of 2015 on Smoke-Free Area (SFA) in 2019 and its contribution to local revenue of Makassar City in 2018. This was a descriptive study through a quantitative approach with cross sectional design. The observation was conducted on 21 major roads and the document review was performed by processing and analyzing the secondary data of the Regional Revenue Department of Makassar City 2018. Data were analyzed descriptively using IBM SPSS 22. This study found around 51% of 619 tobacco advertising (banner, billboard, name board, poster, pushcart, and video Tron) did not comply with the  Local Regulation of South Sulawesi 1/2015. The violations were located in SFA (2%); near schools and healthcare facilities (14%); cut off the roads (16%); the size >72 m2 (6%); and near government offices (40%). The contribution of tobacco advertising was only IDR 736,643,634,-., which was around 0.02% of the local revenue. The violation of tobacco advertising to the Local Regulation 1/2015 and a very small contribution to local revenue showed that Mayor Regulation on Total Tobacco Advertising, Promotion, and Sponsorship (TAPS) Ban should be carried out immediately to prevent children to be the target tobacco industries in Makassar City. Keywords: tobacco advertising, TAPS contribution, local revenue

Neuronal extracellular vesicles (EVs) carry cargoes that are important in intercellular signaling and disease, but how and where cargoes are sorted into EVs remains unclear. Here, we identified a new role for canonical clathrin-mediated endocytic machinery in controlling EV cargo traffic in Drosophila neurons. Endocytic mutants, including nervous wreck (nwk), Shibire/Dynamin, and AP-2, exhibit local depletion of multiple cargoes in presynaptic EV donor terminals as well as in EVs. Accordingly, nwk mutants phenocopy synaptic plasticity defects associated with loss of the EV cargo Synaptotagmin-4, and suppress lethality upon overexpression of the EV cargo Amyloid Precursor Protein. These EV defects are genetically separable from canonical functions of endocytic proteins in synaptic vesicle recycling and synaptic growth. Nwk opposes the endosomal retromer complex to regulate EV cargo levels, and acts upstream of dynactin-mediated retrograde axonal transport. Our data suggest a novel molecular mechanism that protects EV cargoes from local depletion at synapses.
