The relevance of the work is due to changes in the understanding of the goals of education, according to which learning should not be limited to the communication of knowledge, but should develop the necessary competencies in the field of independent cognitive activity and reveal the creative potential of students. In this work silence is considered as having a dialogical nature not expressed in a sign form a communicatively significant process of cognition of the studied object, which allows the student to overcome language and psychological barriers, to engage in independent work to develop the meaning and content of education, and, in the end, create your own educational product. In accordance with this the essence and content of the method of pedagogical silence are revealed, and also the author's typology of silence is given. On the example of a fragment of a lesson on the discipline "Russian as a foreign language" the features of the use of the method of pedagogical silence in teaching foreign languages are shown. The research materials can be used in organizing the educational process for the study of foreign languages, for methodological work in an educational institution, as well as in self-educational pedagogical activity.

Bionic reasoning is a significant process in product biologically inspired design (BID), in which designers search for creatures and products that are matched for design. Several studies have tried to assist designers in bionic reasoning, but there are still limits. Designers’ bionic reasoning thinking in product BID is vague, and there is a lack of fuzzy semantic search methods at the sentence level. This study tries to assist designers’ bionic semantic reasoning in product BID. First, experiments were conducted to determine the designer’s bionic reasoning thinking in top-down and bottom-up processes. Bionic mapping relationships, including affective perception, form, function, material, and environment, were obtained. Second, the bidirectional encoder representations from transformers (BERT) pretraining model was used to calculate the semantic similarity of product description sentences and biological sentences so that designers could choose the high-ranked results to finish bionic reasoning. Finally, we used a product BID example to show the bionic semantic reasoning process and verify the feasibility of the method.

In this paper, complex issues of education are discussed in relation to research and activism in the humanities and contemporary art, cultural production and politics. The discussion is based on a re-examination of twenty years of teaching anthropology at Greek universities in light of a strengthening engagement in the practices situated between this discipline and art. The context, the content and the mode of this activity are considered, during an epistemologically composite and politically significant process of interchanging teaching and learning positions. The specificity of the conditions of one’s own education needed to be acknowledged in the introduction to this retrospective survey. Teaching anthropology to professionals and students of different disciplines is also described as a period of learning how to place emphasis on practice, re-evaluate anthropological knowledge, combine diverse perspectives and negotiate power relations. Teaching anthropology to artists, however, particularly when the teacher also happens to be an artist, poses these and other challenges. Transdisciplinarity is sought, but only as something to surpass, eventually considering what it might mean to be 'undisciplined'. In any case, it is by now established that when anthropologists meet with artists, common interests become evident and a great potential for the renewal of research and theory is revealed, but diverging priorities and conflicting relations must also be addressed. Teaching and learning in such a context becomes more than an academic habit. It develops as a demanding, research-cum-art making activity, as shown by a number of collective projects that bring together students and teachers, on the fringes of the academy and social life during the difficult period of the so-called 'Greek crisis'.

The aim of this work is to evaluate the possibility of inexpensively producing small-batch polymer sheet components using robotized single point incremental forming (SPIF) without backing plate support. An innovative method of thermal and ultrasound assisted deformation of a polymer sheet is proposed using a tool with a sphere mounted in a ring-shaped magnetic holder, the friction of which with the tool holder is reduced by ultrasound, and the heating is performed by a laser. The heated tool moving on the sheet surface locally increases the plasticity of the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) polymer in the contact zone with less deforming force does not reducing the stiffness of the polymer around the tool contact area and eliminating the need for a backing plate. The free 3D rotating ball also changes the slip of the tool on the surface of the polymer sheet by the rolling, thereby improving the surface quality of the product. The finite element method (FEM) allowed the virtual evaluation of the deformation parameters of the SPIF. Significant process parameters were found, and the behavior of the heated polymer sheet was determined.

The mandatory teaching/learning content of the preschool lays emphasis on the child’s most essential interests and needs, acquiring them in such a process that leads to the formation of literacy or competence. Self-guided learning in the teaching/learning process appears as the major method that helps the pre-schooler acquire the content of all domains. According to the preschool guidelines, values and morals, general or transversal skills, cognitive, emotional and social aspects of the child’s actions that help to acquire knowledge, understanding and key skills for man’s functioning in important spheres of life and these are the key skills in the domains of language, social and civic, understanding of culture and self-expression in art, science, mathematics, technology, health and physical activities that form the mandatory teaching/learning content of preschool education. When acquiring all the necessary skills and knowledge, the child has to reach the planned learning outcomes that are attained in a self-guided learning process. Self-guided learning is one of the most essential modern competences or the individual’s readiness to adjust and apply the knowledge, skills and attitudes when solving different situations. Are preschools ready for this, does this process take place and do preschool teachers understand the concept “self-guided learning process” – this is the topicality that definitely should be paid attention to relating it to teacher education, the development of the self-guided learning model and its piloting in the preschool environment. A self-guided learning process should not be taken for granted because the child does not have such skills – to know / to feel how and what to do to start, for example, exploration. The child has not acquired these skills if the adult has not demonstrated how to do this. The child since young age should be gradually directed towards that – what and in which way to learn. The participation of the adult or teacher in this significant process is critical.

Más allá de las limitaciones en la regulación, en este proceso se percibe la importancia de los datos en general y de los datos abiertos en particular como uno de los ejes principales para reforzar las exigencias y principios del Gobierno Abierto. En esta ponencia se pretende analizar la evolución del marco normativo aplicable en España y ponerlo en relación con las recientes iniciativas que está impulsando la Unión Europea para promocionar la reutilización de la información del sector público y los datos abiertos. In the last few years we have witnessed a significant process of technological modernisation in Spain that has impacted on Public Administrations. Beyond the limitations in the regulation, in this process the importance of data and open data particularly is perceived as one of the main axes to strengthen the requirements and principles of Open Government. This lecture aims to analyse the evolution of the regulatory framework applicable in Spain and to connect it with the recent initiatives being promoted by the European Union to foster the reuse of public sector information and open data.

Magnetic Abrasive Finishing is a significant process for finishing up to the micro-level. However, with the advancement of technology and hybrids like Viscoelastic magnetic abrasive Finishing and Magnetic abrasive Flow machining, it has become a nano finishing process. To improve the finishing process, the researchers have made a Model and tested the feasibility of the wind turbine magnet in Finishing. The Maxwell simulations were done for the cylindrical Specimen of Brass, Steel Aluminum. The simulations results were in accordance with the fact that the proposed wind turbine magnet may be used for the simulations.

AbstractIn this study, the solubilisation of waste coarse wool as a precursory step for the large scale valorisation of keratin was investigated using a green deep eutectic solvent (DES) based on L-cysteine and lactic acid. The investigation was undertaken via the response surface methodology and based on the Box-Behnken design for four process variables of temperature (70-110 °C), dissolution time (2-10 h), the mass of L-cysteine (0.5-2.5 g) in 20 mL of lactic acid, and wool load in the DES (0.2-0.6 g). The effect of variations in temperature was established to be the most significant process variable influencing keratin yield from waste coarse wool in the current work. An optimum keratin yield (93.77 wt.%) was obtained at the temperature of 105 °C, 8 h dissolution time, with 1.6 g L-cysteine in 20 mL of lactic acid using 0.5 g of wool. This study suggests L-cysteine and lactic acid as a green solvent with the potential to scale up keratin recovery from waste wool without significant destruction in the structure of the recovered keratin.HighlightsKeratin recovery from wool using deep eutectic solvent was assessedThe basis for the use of the new deep eutectic solvent was discussedThe effects of the process variables on keratin yield were exploredKeratin recovered was optimised and characterised.

Moroccan Berbers/Imazighen have undergone centuries of cultural and economic exchange with different foreign powers that crossed to the Maghreb throughout history. Following a significant process of interaction and interchange, the mode of life of the indigenous people has been significantly shaped. This might explain a great deal of present-day socio-cultural diversity enjoyed and exercised in Morocco. The present study aims at investigating aspects of Berber’s interaction with the various populations that landed on North Africa throughout history. The research study builds on the following question: How does the Berber heritage enhance an outlook of transnational exchange and cooperation? The study reaches out the conclusion that Moroccan Imazighen had cohabited and coexisted with different races since immemorial times. Moreover, the study infers that such a longstanding tradition of borderless socio-cultural and economic exchange may serve as a background legacy for present-day Moroccan transnationalism and universal coexistence.
