The paper aims to single out critical success factors contributing to efficient implementation of distance learning practices and to explain the role of project-based learning in ensuring effective teaching of profession-oriented foreign language in a distance format. The authors argue in favor of distance learning as a beneficial educational tool providing for the training of large groups of people regardless of the place of residence and placing a priority on students’ individual capacities. Study design included a preliminary survey of 150 respondents specializing in the natural sciences and the humanities identifying the key analysis criteria, a complex of experimental online lessons incorporating project-based teaching principles, and a summarizing questionnaire verifying respondents’ post-experiment outlooks. The methodology of empirical research was based on a systematic approach and deployed the methods of pedagogical observation, project-based teaching, sociological research, and statistical analysis using Neural Designer software for calculating questionnaire results. Analyzing the obtained results, the authors conclude that: 1) Students specializing in the humanities have a higher motivation to study related minor subjects; 2) interdisciplinary integration using the English language allows to achieve a cumulative effect for major and related minor subjects; 3) interdisciplinary integration based on the project method is an effective means of improving academic performance in major subjects; 4) interdisciplinary integration based on the project method makes it possible to acquaint students with the best practices in their chosen specialty; 5) project method allows to achieve related didactic goals—self-expression, independent continuous learning and the formation of professional competencies.

Актуальность статьи обусловлена необходимостью изучения основных характеристик дидактического сопровождения молодежной проектной деятельности и социальных инициатив в контексте возможностей повышения эффективности данной педагогической категории. Цель статьи состоит в рассмотрении основных компонентов дидактики учебной проектной деятельности и социальных инициатив молодежи в единстве целей, организационных принципов, содержания, форм, методов, педагогических условий и алгоритма реализации. Обозначен ресурсный потенциал метода проектов для работы с молодежью, заключающейся в более широком включении студентов в социально-значимую для регионов деятельность в рамках «третьей миссии» университетов. Данные обстоятельства будут содействовать более эффективному раскрытию их образовательно-поискового, научного и творческого потенциала, интеллектуальных и профессионально-деловых личностных качеств (ответственность, инициативность, коммуникабельность, исполнительность, лидерские качества и т.п.). В статье обосновано, что молодежная проектная деятельность предполагает прохождение ее участниками определенного образовательного маршрута, в котором они применяют имеющиеся у них компетенции и навыки проектной деятельности, необходимые для решения реальных прикладных задач проекта. Раскрывается сущность гипотезы: образовательная и социально-проектная деятельность молодежи эффективна, если начинается со студенческих проектов, привязанных к реальным социально-экономическим проблемам территорий их постоянного места проживания (малой Родины), и выступающих в данном аспекте как личностно-познавательный и социально-воспитательный фактор развития профессиональных компетенций, навыков проектной деятельности и коммуникативно-деловой культуры. The relevance of the article is due to the need to study the main characteristics of didactic support of youth project activities and social initiatives in the context of opportunities to increase the effectiveness of this pedagogical category. The purpose of the article is to consider the main components of didactics of educational project activities and social initiatives of youth in the unity of goals, organizational principles, content, forms, methods, pedagogical conditions and implementation algorithm. The resource potential of the project method for working with young people is indicated, which consists in a wider inclusion of students in socially significant activities for the regions within the framework of the "third mission" of universities. These circumstances will contribute to a more effective disclosure of their educational and search, scientific and creative potential, intellectual and professional-business personal qualities. (responsibility, initiative, sociability, performance, leadership qualities, etc.). The article substantiates that youth project activity involves the passage of a certain educational route by its participants, in which they apply their existing competencies and skills of project activity necessary to solve real applied tasks of the project. The essence of the hypothesis is revealed: the educational and socio-project activity of young people is effective if it begins with student projects tied to the real socio-economic problems of the territories of their permanent residence (small homeland), and acting in this aspect as a personal-cognitive and socio-educational factor in the development of professional competencies, project skills and communicative and business culture.

Необходимым условием существования инновационной экономики является модернизация системы образования как основы социального развития общества. Чтобы развить личностные качества обучающихся, актуальные для решения перспективных задач реального сектора экономики, нужно использовать в образовательной практике технологии, направленные на формирование навыков XXI века. В последние годы большое внимание уделяется развитию метода проектного обучения. Необходимо проанализировать природу данного метода и его основных компонентов, чтобы определить целесообразные способы их применения для школьной и вузовской практики. Целью исследования является анализ особенностей применения проектного обучения на различных этапах образовательной системы. Актуальность данного исследования связана с ростом трансформационных процессов в образовании, направленных на усиление его практикоориентированности. Гипотеза исследования опирается на положение, что увеличение доли проектных технологий при их целенаправленном педагогическом сопровождении в системе образования будет способствовать развитию профессиональных и личностных качеств будущих специалистов, делая их более конкурентоспособными и востребованными на рынке труда. Основное предназначение метода проектов состоит в предоставлении студентам возможности самостоятельного приобретения знаний и умений в процессе решения разноуровневых профессиональных задач. A necessary condition for the existence of an innovative economy is the modernization of the education system as the basis for the social development of society. In order to develop the personal qualities of students that are relevant for solving promising problems in the real sector of the economy, it is necessary to use technologies in educational practice aimed at developing skills of the 21st century. In recent years, much attention has been paid to the development of the project-based teaching method. It is necessary to analyze the nature of this method and its main components in order to determine the appropriate ways of their application for school and university practice. The aim of the study is to analyze the features of the application of project-based learning at various stages of the educational system. The relevance of this study is associated with the growth of transformational processes in education, aimed at strengthening its practice orientation. The research hypothesis is based on the position that an increase in the share of design technologies with their purposeful pedagogical support in the education system will contribute to the development of professional and personal qualities of future specialists, making them more competitive and in demand in the labor market. The main purpose of the project method is to provide students with the opportunity to independently acquire knowledge and skills in the process of solving professional problems of different levels.

The article discusses the principles of interdisciplinary relations required to train the students of "Management in business of design", who specialize in the fashion industry. A description of a tested methodology of a design project on research and definition of the "DNA of fashion brands" is provided. The article substantiates the application of the project method in business education and design education, which has established itself as effective in training future specialists at different levels of professional training. This method provides the opportunity to integrate students into the creative process and motivate them to solve unconventional problems. Working on this project in a group allows students to acquire teamwork skills and get acquainted with the functioning of global manufacturers of clothing and accessories. The result of the project is a presentation in which all stages of research, analytical process.

The article researched the importance of using the project method in teaching “Biology and Ecology” in high (senior) school and “Basics of Health” in secondary school, as a method of content integration of the natural education and the conditions of effective student teaching. The relevance of this topic is that there is an observation of multi-vector using the “project method” in school today. New developments for the application of project-based teaching are conducted. The organization of project activities in the teaching process involves a specially organized by the teacher process, which is performed by students independently based on their subjective definition of the goal, while the project focuses on a set of actions that makes students independent. The result of the project activity can be any product of the student’s activity, for example, presentation, essay, and model. The method of projects is based on creativity, the skills of orientating in the information space and independently designing their knowledge. In the process of project activity, there is a metamorphosis of the teacher’s position in the educational process (the teacher organizes the students’ activities). For the organization of teacher's activity, it is necessary to master the methods and techniques of preparing students for the work on the project and its development. Teaching “Biology and Ecology” and “Basics of Health” is successful only if the teacher’s work with students in all its forms is a purposeful system of teaching and education that develops in unity biological concepts, dialectical-materialist worldview, thinking, and independent practical work skills, the project’s method helps in this the most. At the modern stage of development of school education, the problem of student's cognitive activity becomes especially important meaning due to the high rate of development and improvement the science and technology, society need for educated people and free from stereotypes, will be able to quickly orientate in the situation, thinking independently. Implementation of such tasks becomes possible only in the conditions of the project teaching stimulating the mental activity of students. The article shows that the main goal of the project method is to provide students with the opportunity to acquire independently knowledge in the process of solving practical problems or problems requiring the integration of knowledge from various subject areas. The project method in teaching a foreign language in a non-language (technical) university is a didactic means of activating the cognitive activity of future engineers, a method of developing their creativity, which also contributes to the formation of certain personal qualities The main purpose of the project method is to provide students with the opportunity to independently acquire knowledge independently in the process of solving practical problems or problems that require the integration of knowledge from different subject areas. The paper discusses the main issues of organizing the learning process based on the gamification. The publication analyzes the main provisions of the application of elements of gamification in the process of teaching students. The study proposes to consider gamification as a new format of the project method in the context of blended learning in the study of disciplines of the pedagogical cycle by students of humanitarian and natural specialties. We analyzed the main didactic Classcraft platform capabilities. Developed by students within the framework of the “Pedagogy” discipline a brief structure of the “Adventurers” quest was present. The algorithm of the students' work included following steps: choosing a project theme (name of the game); composition of the game (stages); development of the game as a digital product (elements); analysis of the implementation of the game as a digital product (difficulties and prospects); analysis of the results of joint digital project activities of students, indicating positive and negative aspects. We considered the positive aspects of using digital applications and platforms to improve teacher skills. The conclusions provide consolidated proposals for the use of gamification, such as: its implementation in the educational process is aimed at the development of intellectual, social, emotional, technological segments of the personal development of students; the use of gamification has a positive impact on the development of students and teachers soft skills and helps to improve their professional skills.

The article is aimed at familiarizing readers and specialists with programs for the preservation of fortification territories and methods of using historical landscapes in the Netherlands, the legal aspect of preserving the remains of fortifications and terrain. The project method of integrating the territory into the tourist observation network is considered. Over the past 30 years, the Netherlands has been developing a legal framework in the intersectoral branch for the protection of a significant historical landscape, including existing or lost objects of fortification art of the XVIII and XX centuries. Reasonable protection criteria, a well-formed strategy for systematic use and subordination of the territory prevents violation of the legal framework of the monument and its physical integrity accelerates the process of developing architectural and design proposals for restoring the spatial appearance of the fortification object
