Software development has been considered a socio-technical activity over the past decades. Particularly, in the case of software engineering, the necessity to communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members has been progressively emphasized. Human resources play a critical role in the success of software projects. Many techniques, methods, tools, models, and methodologies have been proposed, applied, and improved in order to help and ease the management of the software development process. Regardless of the software development methodology adopted, delivering a quality product in a predictable, efficient, and responsive manner is the objective for every team. Disciplined and Agile teams have different characteristics, but also share common aspects when working to accomplish their goals. The main motivation of this chapter is to present the differences and similarities of both teams in the context of software development.

In celery, leaves, roots, and fruit contain a high value in medicinal properties and are used to prepare syrups, tinctures, infusions, or oils; however, its leaves are commonly discarded, wasting their nutritional and medicinal content. The dehydration of these leaves is a conservation option, increasing their shelf life. This study analyzes direct and mixed solar drying (SD and SM) kinetics and their effect on celery leaves. The moisture contents, drying rate, water activity, and colorimetry were obtained. Moreover, the fitting of experimental data to the mathematical models proposed in the literature. The moisture content stabilized at 150 min in the SM at the shortest time with a maximum drying rate of 0.1179 g∙water/g∙ dm∙min. The initial and final water activity was 0.98 and 0.412 in the SM and 0.403 in the SD. The SD better conserved the leaf color, with a total color change (ΔE) of 2.56, while the value obtained with the SM was 5.42. The experimental results of both technologies were better adjusted to the model Two exponential terms with an R² of 0.999. The results show that the solar drying of the celery leaves is feasible, and a quality product is obtained sustainably.

Due to the rapid growth in the production and consumption of shisha tobacco in the Russian Federation, it has become necessary to improve the technology using optimal ingredient composition in order to create a high-quality and safe tobacco product. The aim of the research is to improve the technology of manufacturing shisha tobacco based on the optimization of its ingredient composition; to study the influence of the fractional composition of raw tobacco on its quality indicators. Fractional composition of raw tobacco in the production of shisha tobacco, as well as for other tobacco products, is important and affects its quality characteristics. Virginia and Burley tobaccos of the American type are the most demanded ones in the manufacture of shisha tobacco [1]. Sometimes oriental-type tobaccos are used in the bag, which are distinguished by high taste and aromatic qualities. Due to the fact that recently there has been an increase in the demand for Doha Arabian tobacco raw material (this tobacco is known as a high-quality product with a high strength and a pleasant, full and harmonious taste), the idea has arisen to manufacture prototypes of shisha mixtures in which Doha tobacco is used [2]. The article presents the research results: to determine the optimal ingredient composition of hookah tobacco; to study the optimal fractional composition of raw tobacco of various types. As a result of the research the chemical composition of raw tobacco of various types has been analyzed, the tasting and organoleptic evaluation of the prototypes carried out and the tobacco raw material most suitable for the production of shisha tobacco determined; the nicotine content in the condensate of prototypes of shisha mixtures with different fractions of raw tobacco determined; the optimal fractional composition for various types of tobacco raw materials, necessary for the production of a quality product determined.

Allopurinol USP batches of same size, method, equipment and validation criterion were taken. The critical process parameter involved were reaction, drying, milling, sifting, milling, and blending stages were validation. Quality cannot be assured by daily quality control testing because of the limitations of statistical samples, and the limited facilities of finished product testing. Validation checks the accuracy and reliability of process. Aim of this work was to study prospective process validation of allopurinol USP designed to meet the current regulatory requirements and prove with assurance that the product meets the predetermined specifications and quality attributes. The critical process parameter was identified with the help of process capability and evaluated by challenging its in house and compendial specification. Three initial process validations batches APL/008, APL/009 and APL/010 were identified and evaluated as per validation master plan. The outcome indicated that this process validation data provides high degree of assurance so that manufacturing process produces a quality product.

The protection of Dalmatian lamb ("Dalmatinska janjetina") with a protected designation of origin label (PDO) is based on the specific quality of meat of Dalmatian pramenka lamb and the traditional lamb breeding method in the geographic area that coincides with the breeding area of Dalmatian pramenka (indigenous Croatian sheep breed). Under the name of "Dalmatinska janjetina", only the meat of lambs of Dalmatian pramenka, bred exclusively in Dalmatia, can be placed on the market. In the process of obtaining a PDO label, which has recently been completed at the Croatian national level and is currently in the process at the EU level, a survey among Croatian consumers (a sample of 1,034 consumers from all over Croatia) was conducted to determine the recognition of this product on the Croatian market, as well as consumer preferences considering similar products from other Croatian regions. The research has shown that Croatian consumers recognize Dalmatian lamb as a traditional, high-quality product. Thus, almost 75 % of the respondents recognize it as a particular type of lamb of better quality than others on the Croatian market. Almost 85 % of the respondents use lamb regardless of type in their diet, but more than 58 % always on special occasions (folk festivals and family celebrations), especially if prepared in the traditional way (lamb on a spit) by which Dalmatia as a region is recognized by more than 85 % of the respondents. The market reputation and connection with the geographic production area are why Croatian consumers rather buy Dalmatian lamb over others.

Ensuring biosafety in the territory of the country is one of the key functions (tasks) of the state. The pandemic of a new coronavirus infection has affected absolutely all areas of human activity in all countries of the world. Approaches to prevention have not changed, but the whole country has faced a number of challenges at various levels. With a sharply increased demand for non-specific prophylaxis (including skin antiseptics and disinfectants), not all manufacturers were ready to meet the demand with a quality product. The scarcity of resources (raw materials, components, cash shortages, personnel, etc.) constrained the rapid increase in production capacity to ensure a sharply increased demand. Keywords: pandemic COVID-19, disinfectants, skin antiseptics.

ABSTRACT The strawberry cultivar ‘Pircinque’ was developed by the breeding program of Consiglio per la Ricerca in Agricoltura e l’Analisi dell’Economia Agraria - Centro di Olivicoltura, Frutticoltura e Agrumicoltura (CREA-OFA-FRF), an Italian research entity, and introduced in Brazil in 2013 by the Centro de Ciências Agroveterinárias da Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (CAV-UDESC). In the breeding program in which it originated, ‘Pircinque’ was selected for plant rusticity and resistance to soil pathogens. It can be cultivated where soil sterilization techniques are not used. In Brazil, the cultivation of ‘Pircinque’ has shown to be promising in the major strawberry producing regions. The main characteristics that allowed the development of this cultivar among the growers were plant vigor, productivity, rusticity, flavor, pulp firmness, crispness, sweetness and fruit color. When grown with excessive nitrogen fertilization fruit sensitivity to Botrytis cinerea fungal attack has been found, and a high vegetative plant growth. Due to fruits peculiarity, many growers make differentiated sales, adding value to quality product. Also, due to the high post-harvest period, many growers allocate part of the production to more distant locations. These characteristics are determinant for the cultivar Pircinque be distinguishable from other strawberry cultivars already marketed in Brazil. The cultivar was registered at the Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento (MAPA) in 2016, and the commercialization of plants started in 2017 with five nurseries accredited to produce and market ‘Pircinque’ plants throughout Brazil.
