Women have a high risk of suffering from anemia, especially in teenage girl. Anemia can affect teenage girl growth and development, the body during infancy is easily infected, decreased enthusiasm for learning. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of giving palm juice to the increase in hemoglobin levels in teenage girl who have anemia in dorm Ma’had Aly Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Sukorejo Situbondo 2018. This study used a pre experiment design with a sample of 35 respondents who met the iclusion criteria with a total sampling technique. The treatment was given date palm juice to 35 respondents. Analysis was done using paired sample T test. Statistical test result show significant value (p< 0,05) the meaning is that there is an effecf of giving palm juice to the increase in respondents who have anemia. Giving date palm juice can increase hemoglobin levels because the nutrient content contained in date palm juice is very effective in raising hemoglobin levels in the blood. Expect that the provision of date palm juice still needs to be continued, and the need for counseling to teenage girl in order to increase knowledge about nutrition and health and food intake.

Background Anemia in pregnancy is a maternal condition with hemoglobin values below 11 g/dl in the first and third trimesters, or hemoglobin levels less than 10 g/dl in the second trimester. Data on visits by pregnant women at Independent Practice Midwife Betty, Amd. Keb Based on a pre-survey conducted at BPS Okdiah Betty Amd. Keb Kec. Trimurjo Kab. Central Lampung, by looking at the visit data of pregnant women TM I-TM II for the last 3 months as many as 67 people, with the results of HB 8.0-10.0 examination with mild anemia category as many as 26 pregnant women (38.8%), and HB 10.1-13.0 with normal category as many as 14 people (20.9%), from the overall data it can be seen if there are 27 people (40.2 %) who did not do Hb checks during pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving date palm juice on increasing HB levels in pregnant women in the Independent Practice of Midwife Okdiah Betty, Amd. Keb Kec. Trimurjo Kab. Lampung in the middle of 2021..Methods This type of research is quantitative, the research design is pre-experimental method with a one group pretest - posttest design approach. Data on visits by pregnant women at Independent Practice Midwife Betty, Amd. Kec. Trimurjo Kab. Central Lampung, obtained the number of pregnant women TM I and III during the last 3 months as many as 67 people, purposive sampling technique., univariate and bivariate data analysis using t-testResult The average HB level in pregnant women before being given date palm juice with a mean of 10, 270gr/dl, a min value of 9.3gr/dl and a max value of 10.8gr/dl. The average Hb level at week 7 with a mean of 10.480gr/dl, a min value of 9.7gr/dl and a max value of 11.0gr/dl, and a Hb at week 14 with a mean of 10,807gr/dl, a min value of 10.2gr/dl and a max 11.2gr/dl. Conclusion there is an effect of giving date palm juice to increase Hb levels in pregnant women Suggestion Conducting outreach to the community as a form of promotional and preventive efforts to overcome and minimize the incidence of anemia. Keywords: Dates Extract, Hb Level, Pregnant Women ABSTRAK Latar Belakang Anemia dalam kehamilan merupakan suatu kondisi ibu dengan kadar nilai hemoglobin di bawah 11 gr/dl pada trimester satu dan tiga, atau kadar hemoglobin kurang dari 10 gr/dl pada trimester dua. Data Kunjungan ibu hamil di Praktik Mandiri bidanokdiah Betty, Amd. Keb Berdasarkan prasurvey yang dilakukan di BPS Okdiah Betty Amd.Keb Kec.Trimurjo Kab.Lampung Tengah, dengan melihat data kunjungan ibu hamil TM I-TM II selama 3 bulan terakhir sebanyak 67 orang,dengan hasil pemeriksaan HB 8,0-10,0 dengan kategori anemia ringan sebanyak 26 ibu hamil (38,8%),dan HB 10,1-13,0 dengan kategori normal sebanyak 14 orang (20,9%),dari data keseluruhan dapat diketahui jika terdapat 27 orang (40,2%) yang tidak melakukan pemeriksaan Hb saat hamil. Soft drink with low pH (5,5) causes tooth erosion. Erosion may result in a decrease in surface hardness of tooth enamel. This research will be used a solution of palm juice and solution of fluoride to increase the surface hardness of tooth enamel. The purpose of this study was to evaluate effect of using a solution of palm juice 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% and APF 1,23% to the surface hardness of tooth enamel. The methode used in this research is the experimental laboratory and were tested for their hardness using Vicker Hardness Tester.Measurement performed three times, initial hardness, after all specimens was soaked in soft drink for 25 hours and were then applied with 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% solution of palm juice dan APF 1,23%. Data was analyzed by using SPSS with Repeated ANOVA.The result showed that a significant decrease in tooth enamel hardness on immersion in carbonated soft drink (p<0,05) and increased hardness of surface enamel after application with 100% solution of palm juice with a mean increase of microhardness 42,91VHN, 38,46 VHN with 75% solution of palm juice, 35,836 VHN with 50% solution of palm juice,29,41 VHN with 25% solution of palm juice dan 23,94 VHN in APF 1,23%.The result of this study is there is no significant difference enamel hardness after applied with 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% solution of palm juice and APF 1,23%.

Wanita mempunyai risiko terkena anemia paling tinggi terutama pada remaja putri, hal ini disebabkan karena aktivitas perkuliahan yang padat sehingga banyak membutuhkan energi, namun kebanyakan mahasiswa kebutuhan nutrisinya tidak tercukupi karena seringnya mengkonsumsi makanan siap saji (mie instant dan sebagainya). Selain itu, tidak adanya kesadaran untuk mengkonsumsi tablet tambah darah pada saat menstruasi. Penelitian mengenai suplemen zat besi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan zat besi telah banyak dilakukan, namun herbal belum mendapat perhatian dan hal ini perlu dikembangkan salah satunya adalah sari kurma. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh sari kurma (phoenix dactylifera) terhadap  peningkatan kadar hemoglobin pada remaja putri. Jenis penelitian menggunakan Quasi Eksperimen dengan rancangan Non Equivalent Control Grup. Teknik sampling secara purposive sampling dan diperoleh 38 responden. Analisa penelitian menggunakan analisa univariat dan bivariat (uji Chi Square). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sari kurma secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kadar hemoglobin dengan nilai asympt sig (0,023) < nilai probabilitas (0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian, terdapat peningkatan kadar hemoglobin pada remaja putri yang mengkonsumsi sari kurma dibandingkan yang tidak mengkonsumsi sari kurma. Kata kunci : sari kurma; hemoglobin; remaja putri; anemia The Effect of Date Seed (Phoenix Dactylifera) Towards the Increase of Hemoglobin Levels in Female Adolescents Women have the highest risk in getting anemia, especially in adolescents girls, this is due to dense lecture activities that required a lot of energy, but most of the students' nutritional needs are not fulfilled because they often consumed junk food (instant noodles and so on). In addition, there is no awareness to consume iron supplement during menstruation. A number of researches on iron supplements to fulfill iron needs have been done, but the herbs have not received attention and need to be developed, one of the herbs is date juice. This study was aimed to identify the effect of date palm extract (phoenix dactylifera) on increasing hemoglobin levels for female adolescents. This study used Quasi Experiment with Non Equivalent Control Group design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling and obtained 38 respondents. The data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis (Chi Square test). The results showed that date palm juice had a significant effect on increasing hemoglobin levels with asympt sig value (0.023) < probability value (0.05). The conclusion is that there is an increase in hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls who consume date palm juice compared to those who do not consume date juice. Key words: date palm extract; hemoglobin; female adolescent; anemia

Whey from cheese is still underutilized in Indonesia which has the potential to cause environmentalpollution. One alternative to whey processing is to make a fermented whey drink with the additionof date palm juice as a mixture. Dates juice is expected to provide additional nutrition for lactic acidbacteria (LAB) in the fermentation process. The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterialproperties of whey fermented beverage products with the addition of date juice. The study was conductedusing a randomized block design (RBD) with six groups of sampling treatment with P0; 0% as a control(whey: date juice 100: 0 v / v), P2; 10% (90: 10 v / v), P2; 15% (85: 15 v / v) and P3; 20% (80: 20 v / v).The results of this study indicate that the fermented whey drink with the addition of date juice fermentedwith the bacteria Lactobacillus fermentum B111K (L. fermentum) for 24 hours has been shown to have ahigher antibacterial ability at the level of 20% compared to controls who were not given additional datejuice.

Abstract Background: WHO reports that the prevalence of pregnant women with iron deficiency is around 35-75% and increases with increasing gestational age. This clearly raises the risk of maternal death, prematurity, low birth weight, and increased perinatal mortality. Objective: To determine the effect of dates palm juice administration on the increase in hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. Method: The experimental research design in this study was the One Group Pre-test and Post-test design. The population in this study were all TM III pregnant women in the Palangka Raya Midwife Independent Practice in January-March 2020. Samples were TM III pregnant women in January-March 2020 who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria of 27 respondents with consecutive sampling. The statistical test used is the Paired T-Test.  Results: 21 people (70%) had high school education, aged 20-35 years (21%) (70%), and 30 people (> 23.5 cm) of lila size were 30 people (100%). There was a significant difference (p = 0.29). Conclusion: There is an effect of an increase in hemoglobin levels in TM III pregnant women after being given palm juice.
