The approximate computing is an alternative computing approach which can lead to high-performance implementation of audio and image processing as well as deep learning applications. However, most of the available approximate adders have been designed using application specific integrated circuits (ASICs), and they would not result in an efficient implementation on field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). In this paper, we have designed a new approximate adder customized for efficient implementation on FPGAs, and then it has been used to build the Gaussian filter. The experimental results of the implementation of Gaussian filter based on the proposed approximate adder on a Virtex-7 FPGA, indicated that the resource utilization has decreased by 20-51%, and the designed filter delay based on the modified design methodology for building approximate adders for FPGA-based systems (MDeMAS) adder has improved 10-35%, due to the obtained output quality.

Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) merupakan program nasional bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas output pendidikan dengan melakukan sejumlah aktivitas seperti asistensi mengajar di satuan pendidikan oleh mahasiswa. Learning management system (LMS) sangat dibutuhkan untuk melaksanakan program asistensi mengajar khususnya dalam melakukan evaluasi. Tujuan program ini adalah untuk melatih guru di sekolah mitra dalam menggunakan LMS sehingga dapat mendampingi mahasiswa dalam program asistensi mengajar.  Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan dimana guru dilatih menggunakan LMS. Mitra kegiatan ini adalah SMP dan SMA di Propinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan wawancara. Dari hasil pengamatan diketahui bahwa guru dapat memanfaatkan dengan baik aplikasi evaluasi berbasis LMS yang dirancang oleh tim pengabdi. Hasil wawancara memperkuat hal ini, dimana guru tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam menggunakan aplikasi penilaian bagi mahasiswa program asistensi mengajar karena dilengkapi petunjuk yang jelas. The Independent Learning Campus Independent Program is a national program that improves scholarly output quality by carrying out activities such as teaching assistants in academic units by students. A learning management system (LMS) is needed to carry out teaching assistance programs, especially evaluations. This program aims to train teachers at partner schools in using the LMS so that they can assist students in teaching assistance programs. This activity is carried out in training where teachers are trained to use LMS. Partners of this activity are junior and senior high schools in Central Sulawesi Province. The instruments used are observation sheets and interviews. From the observations, it is known that teachers can make good use of the LMS-based evaluation application designed by the service team. The results of the interviews reinforce this, where the teacher does not experience difficulties in using the assessment application for students in the teaching assistant program because it is equipped with clear instructions.

Along with the industrialization and popularization of the wearable electronics, an increasing number of the wireless sensor nodes (WSNs) are deployed. Nevertheless, the conventional battery-based power supply system has no longer satisfied the requirement of large-scale WSNs in terms of battery life, which emerges the energy harvesting (EH) technique. In order to combine various of energy sources and drive multi-loads, the multi-input single-inductor multi-output (MISIMO) EH interface applied to wearable electronics is spotlighted. In this mini-review article, the solutions for improving power conversion efficiency (PCE) and output quality in MISIMO EH interface are summarized. Furthermore, the future trends of MISIMO EH interface are also presented.

Abstract Purpose: This study was conducted to demonstrate the feasibility of X-ray output constancy quality assurance (QA) of a linear accelerator for various gantry angles using the Stealth Chamber. Methods: The X-ray output constancy of a Varian TrueBeam STx was evaluated under various gantry angles and a 10 × 10 cm2 field size using a Stealth Chamber. Specifically, 10X and 10X-flattening-filter-free beams with dose rates of 600 and 2400 monitor units (MU)/min, respectively, were used. The Stealth Chamber was attached to the gantry head, and irradiation was performed every 45° for gantry angles of 0-315°. To evaluate the variations in the output constancy with respect to the gantry angle, the acquired values were normalized to the value corresponding to a 0° gantry angle. The obtained results were utilized to determine the correction factors for all gantry angles. To verify the correction factors, additional measurements were performed for five days. Results: The maximum variation in the output constancy measurement relative to the output constancy at a 0° gantry angle was found to be approximately 4.0% for both energy beams at a gantry angle of 180°. Furthermore, the measured values were dependent on the gantry angle. Upon applying the correction factor, the variation in the output constancy with respect to the gantry angle was less than 0.5%. Conclusions: Output constancy QA using the Stealth Chamber for various gantry angles was found to be feasible with the application of a correction factor.

In the wave of Industry 4.0, GPS sports watches are redeveloping towards digitization and intelligence. Whether the information is correct and real-time, operation interfaces easy to use and the displayed information easy to understand have become issues that consumers and manufacturers emphasize. Thus, this study investigated the effects of output quality and result demonstrability on the perceived usefulness of GPS sports watches with participants of the 2020 Taiwan International Triathlons as the research subjects. In total, 280 respondents, who participated in the 2020 Taiwan International Triathlon, were selected by purposive sampling for a questionnaire survey. The statistical software SPSS was employed to file the data, and the statistical software of AMOS was adopted to analyze the correlation among variables. According to the results, (1) output quality has significantly positive effects on perceived usefulness; (2) result demonstrability has significantly positive effects on perceived usefulness; (3) perceived ease of use has significantly positive effects on perceived usefulness; (4) perceived ease of use has significantly positive effects on behavioral intention to use; and (5) perceived usefulness has significantly positive effects on behavioral intention to use.

Abstract The typical problem of vegetable oil processing is to ensure the consistency of the output quality. The one parameter that mostly affects quality is the presence of wax, which commands control at all stages of the process (refinement, odours removal, freezing). Statistical methods of analysis can be usefully applied to the improvement of vegetable oil processing, as demonstrated by this study. The authors in fact used statistical methods in order to: a) optimize parameters consistency, b) enhance process efficiency, c) improve economic performance and finally, d) assess process stability. The following statistical tools were used in the study: 1) Histograms, 2) Shewhart Charts, 3) Ishikawa Diagrams and, 4) Pareto Chart. A first major finding was that the occurrence of process flaws that would result in product rejection had a 5% probability of happening at all stages of the process. Moreover, the analysis of process stability with maps of average values and ranges leads to the finding that the process itself is statistically unstable. Finally, cause-and-effect relationships of influencing factors (such as the quality of feedstock) were investigated, thus determining the main causes of flaw in the production process. This leads to the definition of corrective actions, the effectiveness of which was then investigated and evaluated.

<p class="JurnalASSETSABSTRAK"><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p>This study aims to determine the effect of behavioral and performance aspects of educator accountants on the competence of accounting students at universities throughout Banten Province. The method used is descriptive and associative quantitative. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the behavioral aspect of the perception dimension variable had the highest average value, the lowest motivation dimension. The variable of educator accountants' performance of the collaboration dimension had the highest average value and the lowest of higher education Tridharma output quality dimension. The variable of accounting students' competence in the dimension of learning to live together has the highest average value, and the dimension of learning to understand is the lowest. The results of the associative analysis were obtained simultaneously that the behavioral and performance aspects of educator accountants affect the competence of accounting students.</p><p> </p><p class="JurnalASSETSABSTRAK"><strong><em>ABSTRAK</em></strong><em></em></p><p><em>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aspek keperilakuan dan kinerja akuntan pendidik terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa akuntansi di Perguruan Tinggi se-Provinsi Banten. Hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh bahwa pada variabel aspek keperilakuan dimensi persepsi memiliki nilai rata-rata tertinggi, dimensi motivasi terendah. Variabel kinerja akuntan pendidik dimensi kerja sama memiliki nilai rata-rata tertinggi, dimensi kualitas output tridarma perguruan tinggi terendah. Variabel kompetensi mahasiswa akuntansi dimensi learning to live together memiliki nilai rata-rata tertinggi, dimensi learning to understand terendah. Hasil analisis asosiatif diperoleh secara simultan aspek keperilakuan dan kinerja akuntan pendidik berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa akuntansi.</em></p>

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitan ini adalah melakukan benchmarking untuk meningkatkan kinerja organisasi profesi pendidikan dengan studi kasus di Ikatan Guru Raudhatul Athfal (IGRA) Kabupaten Sumedang ke IGTKI Pekalongan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Benchmarking ini dilakukan melalui competitive benchmarking, dalam hal kualitas output. Tahapan benchmarking yang dilaksanakan oleh IGRA Kabupaten Sumedang yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pengumpulan data, tahap analisis data dan tahap adaptasi. Indikator evaluasi diri sangat penting sehingga tujuan yang diharapkan untuk meningkatkan mutu tercapai. Dari hasil evaluasi diri ditentukan bahwa hal yang perlu dilakukan benchmarking oleh IGRA Sumedang adalah tentang pengelolaan keuangan, manajemen kepemimpinan dan sumber daya manusia. Benchmarking yang telah dilaksanakan PD IGRA Kabupaten Sumedang mendapatkan hasil dengan terwujudnya gedung sekretariat dalam jangka waktu kurang lebih 3 tahun, etos kerja pengurus semakin meningkat, kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana organisasi serta transparasi dan akuntabel laporan keuangan. Abstract: The purpose of this research is to conduct benchmarking to improve the performance of educational professional organizations with a case study at the Raudhatul Athfal Teachers Association (IGRA) Sumedang Regency to ITGKI Pekalongan. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Benchmarking is done through competitive benchmarking, in terms of output quality. The benchmarking stages carried out by IGRA Sumedang Regency are the planning stage, the data collection stage, the data analysis stage and the adaptation stage. Self-evaluation indicators are very important so that the expected goals to improve quality are achieved. From the results of the self-evaluation, it was determined that the things that need to be done by Benchmarking by IGRA Sumedang were about financial management, leadership management and human resources. The benchmarking that has been carried out by PD IGRA Sumedang Regency has resulted in the realization of a secretariat building within a period of approximately 3 years, the work ethic of the management has increased, the completeness of organizational facilities and infrastructure as well as transparency and accountability of financial reports.

Mengacu pada fungsi dan tujuan pendidikan nasional tersebut, terlihat jelas bahwa Undang-Undang di atas menghendaki guru memiliki kecerdasan emosional, kreatif, mempunyai sikap yang ajeg, mandiri dan mapan, sehingga dalam proses pembelajaran guru secara aktif mengembangkan potensi dirinya untuk memiliki kekuatan pengendalian diri, kepribadian, kecerdasan, akhlak mulia yang berimplikasi pada kualitas proses (quality proses) pembelajaran, jaminan kualitas (quality ansurance) produk pembelajaran serta kualitas output (quality produc) sebagai tujuan akhir pembelajaran. Guru yang memiliki EQ yang tinggi senantiasa dapat mengontrol tingkah laku yang kemungkinan merugikan diri sendiri dan juga orang lain. Proses pembelajaran dikelas merupakan suatu interaksi yang melibatkan sikap dan daya kreativitas antara guru dengan sisw2a dan suatu komunikasi timbal balik yang berlangsung dalam suasana edukatif untuk mencapai tujuan belajar. Guru merupakan elemen kunci dalam sistem pendidikan, karena guru selalu berinteraksi langsung denagn siswa, memberikan keteladanan, motivasi dan inspirasi secara terus menerus. Oleh karena itu guru harus selalu bersemangat, berprestasi, dan kreatif dalam berkarya di dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas dan di luar kelas. Kaitan kecerdasan emosional denagn kreativitas guru, tergantung pada kondisi dalam lingkungan dan individu itu sendiri, seorang yang mempunyai kecerdasan emosional yang baik memiliki daya kreativitas pribadi yang tinggi, memiliki program kerja berdasarkan rencana dan tujuan yang realistis serta berjuang untuk merealisasikannya. Kreativitas merupakan perwujudan/pengaktualisasian diri dan aktualisasi diri sebagai kebutuhan pokok pada tingkat tertinggi dalam hidup manusia. Bahkan lebih dari itu bahwa berkreasi dapat bermanfaat bagi diri pribadi, lingkungan, dan juga memberikan kepuasan bagi individu, disamping memungkinkan manusia meningkatkan kualitas hidup, khususnya dalam menghadapi Era Pembangunan bersifat Global di Era Milenial.

Prior research on collaboration and creativity often assumes that individuals choose to collaborate to improve the quality of their output. Given the growing role of collaboration and autonomous teams in creative work, the validity of this assumption has important implications for organizations. We argue that in the presence of a collaboration credit premium—when the sum of fractional credit allocated to each collaborator exceeds 100%—individuals may choose to work together even when the project output is of low quality or when its prospects are diminished by collaborating. We test our argument on a sample of economists in academia using the norm of alphabetical ordering of authors’ surnames on academic articles as an instrument for selection into collaboration. This norm means that economists whose family name begins with a letter from the beginning of the alphabet receive systematically more credit for collaborative work than economists whose family name begins with a letter from the end of the alphabet. We show that, in the presence of a credit premium, individuals may choose to collaborate, even if this choice decreases output quality. Thus, collaboration can create a misalignment between the incentives of creative workers and the prospects of the project.
