Police authorities and units are a separate link in the system of ensuring all levels of national security, including a transport one. Globalization, technological progress and urbanization are leading to an increase in vehicular transports and freight carriage, which makes it necessary to ensure transport safety. The purpose of the academic paper is as follows: to identify the factors that affect transport safety and the impact of police authorities and units of the European Union on transport safety. In order to achieve the purpose outlined the following methods have been used, namely: statistical analysis, correlation, factor analysis, generalization and analogy. It has been established that there is a positive interrelationship between the number of police officers, the number of road traffic accidents and the number of casualties on the road in Cyprus. A negative interrelationship has been proved between the number of police officers and the number of road traffic accidents in Germany, Finland, Greece, Belgium and Sweden. The positive interdependence has been revealed between the number of police officers and casualties of road traffic accidents in Cyprus, Germany, Finland, and a negative interdependence in Greece, Belgium, Sweden. It has been found that there is a low level of interdependence between the number of cars and the number of road traffic accidents in Sweden and Germany, a negative interrelationship in Cyprus, Greece, Belgium and Finland. Factors influencing transport safety have been established, namely: legislative regulation, level of introduction of innovative digital technologies, transport infrastructure, geographical location, length of roads, psychophysical factors of drivers, social ones. It has been proved that police authorities and units, taking into account other factors that affect transport safety, do not sufficiently ensure transport safety in the European Union

Abstract Older adults should be one of the first groups to receive COVID-19 vaccines, because the risk of dying from COVID-19 increases with age. However, it takes time to distribute the vaccines to different countries, and the challenges in administering vaccines may differ by health system characteristics and local culture. This international symposium will discuss the vaccine rollout issues in eight countries (Isreal, Japan, South Korea, China, France, United Kingdom, Canada, and United States). We will use an interview and dialog format, instead of presentations. We will cover extensive topics including: Availability - What vaccines? Access, Acceptance, Caregivers – How are providers responding/handling caregivers wanting to be vaccinated?Cost/Financing Issues, Distribution Logistics/Transport/Safety, Lessons Learned, Mutations/Variants, Partnerships needed to vaccinate homebound patients (community partners; home health agencies, etc.), Who can/should provide vaccination? The situation with COVID-19 is still very fluid. Countries are at different stages of vaccinating older people. The chair didn't ask the speakers to write an abstract now, instead, the speakers will collect more information during the next few months and plan to have a prep meeting one month before the Annual Meeting.

Objective: of this study was to carry out a systematic review of the literature to reveal the policies of metropolitan mobility and peri-urban health, focusing the discussion on the effects of public transport safety on the health of users. Methodology: A documentary, retrospective and meta-analytic study was carried out with a non-probabilistic selection of indexed sources published from 2010 to 2020 and search with the key words. Results: Prevalence of data that sustain the non-exposure to risk events derived from mobility policies in public transport safety and the health of users. Discussion: Political comparisons reveal the prevention of the effects of risk events on the health of users. Conclusion: Mobility policies, focused on the effects of transport safety on the health of users, do not recognize the risks of exposure or the short, medium and long-term consequences.

World leaders gathered at the United Nations (UN) and adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It is a plan of action aimed at achieving global sustainable development in economic, social and environmental areas, which ensures that no UN member state is left behind. The 17 sustainable development goals on the 2030 Agenda can be used as benchmarks for the coordinated development of UN member states. Aviation safety is an important component of the concept of general national security, the system of personal security, ecological and public safety and transport safety from external and internal threats. Maintaining an acceptable level of national aviation safety is a priority for the industry. The aviation transport is a part of the transport complex of Ukraine, which is an important component in the structure of the national economy and a link between all components of economic security to ensure the basic conditions of life and development of the state and society. The assessment of economic, technological, safety, social and ecological hazards is an integral part of all the logical blocks of the structural and functional scheme of strategic management of aviation safety in terms of sustainable development of the national economy. According to the concept of national aviation risk management developed by the authors, risk can be assessed as a mutual combination of hazarad, vulnerability and consequences. The application of this concept in relation to the air transport of Ukraine allowed to identify the main hazards, vulnerabilities, consequences and risks. The next step in the implementation of the concept is to develop institutional measures to neutralize threats in the field of aviation safety, which is actually a set of risk reduction measures for further sustainable development of the national economy. This article summarizes the hazards, vulnerabilities, consequences, risks, and institutional arrangements for strategic aviation safety management. Among the priority measures are: harmonization of national regulation of air transport with the requirements of global and regional levels, development of mechanisms for commercial protection of domestic air transport enterprises in the COVID-19 pandemic, implementation of strategic scenarios for sustainable development of air transport in Ukraine until 2030. The implementation of the proposed institutional measures will ensure an appropriate level of safety, efficiency and regularity of the national air transport of Ukraine.

The analysis of the main approaches to the assessment of environmental safety is presented. The requirements for environmental safety measurement are justified. The relationship between safety and development, safety and danger are revealed. The approach to the environmental safety methodology is proposed. The goals of environmental safety are justified. The article analyzes life expectancy as the indicator of environmental safety and its dependence on other priorities of the state development, such as the cost of childbirth and raising children, support for pregnant and nursing mothers, care for pensioners (the size of pensions, their indexation, retirement age), the cost of ensuring industrial and transport safety, etc. The indicators that determine the quality (state) of the natural environment as maximum permissible environmental loads and the degree of proximity of the ecosystem state to the border of its stability are considered in the article. The possibility and advantages of using the assessment of the photosynthetic organisms (photosynthetics) state as the indicator of environmental safety are substantiated. The possibility of using the other integral biota state indicators to assess environmental safety is shown in the article.

Public transport safety is still an issue that needs to be studied by bureaucrats and researchers. This is because public bus accidents are still quite high. This is because many families, involved in traffic accidents, are shocked by the accident. Therefore, the problem of perception of a safe bus needs to be studied. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception model of a safe public bus. Mathematical modeling based on the parameters that have been studied was selected first. While the second objective was to determine the importance value of the parameters that are an indication of the perception of the safety of intercity bus public transportation. This research is a type of perceptual one where the data is taken from the relevant respondents. The method of data collection was carried out using a questionnaire with respondents from bus company owners, drivers, and passengers in the province of East Java, Indonesia. Respondents were asked to answer questions related to the variables of income, speed, comfort, and safety. The method of conjoint analysis is used. The first stage is the result of modeling the perception of a safe bus. Further analysis is carried out to obtain the importance value of the parameters. The result of this research is a utility model for the perception of a safe bus, which is expressed by the equation U, where the variables include income, speed, comfort, and safety. The highest level of importance is income 33.29 %, followed by the security variable with a weight of 25.39 %. This shows that the income factor is a top priority for drivers and management of bus company owners, while road safety is second only to income. In other words, respondents' perceptions are more concerned with income, while safety is still a non-priority factor.
