There are many studies in literature on chiral metamaterials (MTMs) to obtain large chiralities with dynamic optical activities. With this regard, this new generation planar chiral MTM study focuses on a small, non-dispersive (constant/flat) chirality admittance over an indicated frequency band which has not been investigated so far in literature. This new generation planar chiral MTM provides a small and a constant/fixed chirality which is mostly ignored by the scientists. This study numerically and experimentally investigates and examines these new generation MTMs based on circular split ring resonators (SRRs) with an increased capacitance in details. Obtained results show that the suggested structure can provide a small and constant/flat chirality admittance over a certain frequency band and hence it can be used to design myriad novel electromagnetic (EM) devices such as transmission and antireflection filters, polarization rotators for any desired frequency regions.

In this paper, a new filter network is presented that is based on Radial Base Function Networks (RBFNs). The output layer of the network is modified, in order to make it more effective in certain fuzzy control systems. The training of the network is solved by a clustering step, for which two different clustering methods are proposed. The suggested structure can efficiently be used for data classification.

A novel graded band gap channel Si - SiGe MOSFET structure has been suggested and its characteristics have been investigated. The investigations indicated that the suggested structure reduces the short-channel effects, increases the cut-off frequency, and hence makes its usage at high frequency and Low noise applications possible. To show the superior performance of the suggested structure at GHz frequencies, and as an example, the noise behavior of the structure is determined. First the device noise model parameters are calculated from D.C. and A.C. characteristics. The extracted noise model parameters are then used to determine the minimum noise figure at GHz frequencies. The effects of the different device parameters on the noise performance are determined. Finally, the results are compared with those of conventional MOSFET structure to show the superior performance of graded band gap Si - SiGe MOSFETs at high frequency ranges.

Syntactic evidence from action nominalizations, insertion of degree adverbials, contrastive stress, and gapped constructions (Fraser, 1976) suggests that the VPC must be bifurcated into two classes: a verb adverb construction (VAC) containing a verb, a complement, and an adverb and a VPC with a verb, complement, and a particle. Literature on the acquisition of the VPC has not taken this distinction into account. This article focuses on the acquisition of the VAC. The patterning on syntactic tests is a result of the fact that adverbs are predicators and particles are not. Additional syntactic tests (initial coordination of adverbs and adverbs+PPs and placing locative adverbs in argument positions) suggest that adverbs (not particles) are phrasal constituents: the adverb takes the apparent object as its subject. The bifurcation of the VPC and the suggested structure are supported by evidence from child language acquisition. Children treat the two constructions differently from the earliest stages. Crucially, the overwhelming error (79%) in VAC use is dropping the grammatical object. The timing of this error corresponds to that of subject drop in the null subject stage.

The structure of (8Z)-1(15),8(9)-trinervitadien-3α-ol (IIa) was established by a detailed analysis of its NMR spectra for a trinervitane derived alcohol isolated from the species Nasutitermes nigriceps. The previously suggested structure I for the same compound isolated from Trinervitermes gratiosus is now revised.
