Abstract Treatment Eternal.Lab is a business engaged in the services of washing shoes, bags, hats and helmets. There are several things that must be improved by eternal.lab treatment in order to survive and compete in the future. Decision making in determining the right location will have an impact on the development of the business in the future, then, there needs to be a strategy in determining the location of the business.  Taking into account the segments and costs in determining the location will be able to deny profits to thebusiness. Analytical hierarchy process becomes the preferred method to see the location of the business where itis prioritized based on the criteria that influence in determining the location of the business on the treatment services Eternal.Lab. The author uses the expert choice tool to find out the value of each criterion and sub-criteria against alternative locations that have previously been selected. Obtained 4 (four) criteria that become determinants in determining the location of the business, namely facilities, rental costs, market environment, and physical condition of the location. Based on the results of the tests conducted, obtained alternative locations that are prioritized is the Queen's labuhan with an assessment weight (0.406). Terdapat beberapa hal yang harus dibenahi oleh treatment Eternal.Lab agar dapat bertahan dan bersaing kedepannya. Pengambilan keputusan dalam menentukan lokasi yang tepat akan berdampak pada perkembangan usaha tersebut kedepannya maka, perlu adanya strategi dalam menentukan lokasi usaha. Dengan mempertimbangkan segmen dan biaya dalam menentukan lokasi akan dapat meningkarkan keuntungan pada usaha. Analytical hierarchy process menjadi metode yang dipilih untuk melihat lokasi usaha dimana yang lebih di prioritaskan berdasarkan kriteria yang berpengaruh dalam menentukan lokasi usaha pada jasa treatment Eternal.Lab. Penulis menggunakan alat expert choice untuk mengetahui nilai setiap kriteria dan sub-kriteria terhadap alternatif lokasi yang sebelumnya sudah dipilih. Diperoleh 4 (empat) kriteria yang menjadi penentu dalam menentukan lokasi usaha yaitu fasilitas, biaya sewa, lingkungan pasar, dan kondisi fisik lokasi. Berdasarkan hasil dari pengujian yang dilakukan maka diperoleh alternatif lokasi yang lebih di prioritaskan adalah labuhan Ratu dengan bobot penilaian (0,406). Accuracy in choosing a location is one of the factors that determine the success of a business. Entrepreneurs always have a location close to customers in order to provide primary service to customers so that relationships can be maintained properly. The right business location is expected to meet consumer expectations in order to obtain profit, but if there is an error in choosing a business location automatically the maximum profit will not be obtained by the entrepreneur. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of choosing a business location on sales. The selection of sales locations is very influential on the sales results of traders. Place/location of business is one element of the marketing mix which is very important for the continuity of a business. This type of research includes field research, namely the new market clothing store and the old market in the Rantauprapat. This research is descriptive, because this study seeks to collect existing facts. This research focuses on efforts to reveal a problem and the situation as it is, which is examined is the technique of interviewing and documentation. While the data analysis was carried out using the data obtained in the form of descriptions, then the data were analyzed using inductive thinking. The results of the research indicate that there is a very strong relationship between the place of business and the profit. The place of business has a positive effect on the profits obtained by the trader.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to investigate aspiring immigrant opportunity (AIO) entrepreneurs' start-up location decisions.Design/methodology/approachThe authors used conjoint analysis to explore 1,264 location decisions nested within 79 highly educated, first-generation AIO entrepreneurs.FindingsThe authors found that although government support positively influences business location decisions, network support decreases the perceived benefits of government support for AIO entrepreneurs. Furthermore, locations with high costs of doing business are unattractive to AIO entrepreneurs, but financial capital access through ethnic and nonethnic sources in these locations enhances the appeal of high-cost locations.Research limitations/implicationsThe generalizability of the findings to AIO entrepreneurs should be considered with caution. Future research should longitudinally examine immigrant opportunity entrepreneurs' location decisions and their implications for their start-up and community-level performance outcomes. The authors also encourage replication of the study.Practical implicationsThe findings of this study have implications for AIO entrepreneurs who intend to make start-up location decisions. Also, government policymakers can use the findings of this study to better attract AIO entrepreneurs to different locations.Originality/valueBy integrating ethnic enclave theory and location theory, this research contributes to theory and practice about immigrant opportunity entrepreneurs' start-up location decisions which are currently underexplored in the immigrant entrepreneurship literature.

This study aims to reveal the strategies of rice wholesalers in determining the right business location according to the cardinal directions to meet consumer needs. Choosing the right location will have an impact on the development of the business. The method uses qualitative method and phenomenological approach, where the researcher explores the high and deep meaning of events or phenomena applied by the contractors in choosing a business location. The result proves the contractors choose the location based on the belief in the wind direction which is adjusted to the Java market day which is difficult to accept logically. Furthermore the choice of business location is based on magical beliefs. The contractor believes that the wind direction that is adjusted to certain days and markets is special and will generate profits used for business activities.

Micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) is one important part of the economy of a country or region. This important role has encouraged many countries including Indonesia to continue to develop UMKM. Although small in scale the number of workers, assets and turnover, but because of the large enough amount, the role of UMKM is quite important in supporting the economy. The success of UMKM is a factor supporting the improvement of various businesses, both micro, small and medium enterprises, especially in Gresik City. This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and business location on the business success. of UKM. The method used in this research is quantitative method, the population of this research is 51 UKM. The analysis techn ique used is multiple linear regression analysis followed by t test with significance level 0,05. The results showed that the entrepreneurial spirit , creativity and business locat ions individually and simultaneous significantly affect the business success.
