Bukit Energi Servis Terpadu (BEST) is a company engaged in Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services which are members of the PT group. Bukit Asam Tbk. PT. Bukit Energi Servis Terpadu (BEST) already has a computer network in the form of adequate wired and wireless networks and has been connected to the internet. The bandwidth used for the scope of the office uses a bandwidth of 30 Mbps, but the problem of internet speed is not maximized where there is download activity and video streaming which causes the internet bandwidth in the office to be slow, thus affecting the activities of employees who are accessing the internet in the office either through wired networks and wireless internet hotspots. The results of the measurement of packet loss parameters (%) after Bandwidth Management with HTB is better, namely 0.12 % while before Bandwidth Management with HTB is carried out with a value of 0.52 %. The results of measuring the throughput parameters before using Bandwidth Management with HTB where the use of throughput after using Management Bandwidth with HTB obtained results of 624.9 kbps while the throughput before Bandwidth Management was carried out was 624.4 kbps. By limiting bandwidth using the Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) facility, bandwidth can be divided into certain sections or prioritized for those who need higher internet speeds, while those that do not require an internet connection are provided with a small speed.

Abstract We present a novel web-based attack that identifies a Tor user’s guard in a matter of seconds. Our attack is low-cost, fast, and stealthy. It requires only a moderate amount of resources and can be deployed by website owners, third-party script providers, and malicious exits—if the website traffic is unencrypted. The attack works by injecting resources from non-existing onion service addresses into a webpage. Upon visiting the attack webpage with Tor Browser, the victim’s Tor client creates many circuits to look up the non-existing addresses. This allows middle relays controlled by the adversary to detect the distinctive traffic pattern of the “404 Not Found” lookups and identify the victim’s guard. We evaluate our attack with extensive simulations and live Tor network measurements, taking a range of victim machine, network, and geolocation configurations into account. We find that an adversary running a small number of HSDirs and providing 5 % of Tor’s relay bandwidth needs 12.06 seconds to identify the guards of 50 % of the victims, while it takes 22.01 seconds to discover 90 % of the victims’ guards. Finally, we evaluate a set of countermeasures against our attack including a defense that we develop based on a token bucket and the recently proposed Vanguards-lite defense in Tor.

Bandwidth management is very important in a computer network concept. Bandwidth management functions to regulate network bandwidth so that each network user gets an evenly distributed bandwidth as a whole, even though there are many network users. In this Java shop, the distribution of bandwidth to each client has not been implemented. , there is no bandwidth management on the Java cafe internet network. The results of the internet speed test at the Java cafe use speedtest.net. The result is the distribution of bandwidth between client 1 and client 2 is not evenly distributed. On client 1 get download and upload speeds up to 0.65 and 1.14 Mbps. While on client 2 only get 2.9 and 1.14 Mbps, due to the absence of a bandwidth management system. Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) is a method of bandwidth management, HTB can provide more bandwidth to the client in a few seconds the client will get more bandwidth, the research methodology used is (Network Development Life Cycle) with a system development method for the network which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Simulation, Implementation, Monitoring, and Management. The results show that bandwidth distribution in each client can be done with each client getting a maximum bandwidth of 768Kbps and getting a bandwidth limit-at of 268Kbps so that customers can still get an internet network even though internet traffic is heavy. . and the use of burst limit as a research method can make each client get additional bandwidth when the internet network is empty and can be accepted by clients or visitors to Java stalls.. and the use of burst limit as a research method can make each client get additional bandwidth when the internet network is empty and can accepted by clients or visitors to shop jawa..

ABSTRACTIn IP-based networks with many users, a bandwidth usage regulation mechanism is needed to ensure service quality. Mikrotik RouterOS has a feature to run QoS known as queue. RouterOS uses the Hierarchichal Token Bucket (HTB) method as the main queue method. The results of the tests carried out show that HTB is able to provide traffic limitation facilities for each classification and guarantee or ensure the amount of bandwidth is less or equal to the predetermined amount. If there is unused bandwidth it can be used by a lower classification (borrowing mechanism).

Menjelang persiapan visitasi online, penambahan prodi S1 Teknologi Informasi dan prodi Pendidikan Guru SD Shanti Bhuana pada Agustus 2020, tentunya diperlukan perombakan dari segi infrastruktur jaringan internet terutama bandwidth dan manajerial. Sejak tahun 2016-2019 jaringan gedung induk rektorat masih menerapkan routing dan login jaringan hot spot menggunakan bandwidth 10 Mbps yang dibagi 50 user secara bersamaan dengan teknik antrian sederhana. Pada tahun 2020 telah dilakukan overhaul jaringan oleh peneliti menggunakan bandwidth 100 Mbps pada jaringan utama, jaringan backup 20 Mbps, dan jaringan publik 5 Mbps dengan penerapan metode Hierarchical Token Bucket. Hasil pemerataan bandwidth dengan rata-rata pemakaian per minggu sebesar 95,35 % dari total throughput 100%, delay dari 177,9 ms menjadi 69,48 ms, packet loss dari 22,67% menjadi 1,67% dan jitter dari 189,4 ms menjadi 14.768 ms. Dengan jaringan HTB yang didistribusikan sesuai prioritas sehingga hingga saat ini overhaul jaringan oleh peneliti masih digunakan dengan backbone terbagi menjadi dua jalur publik RB 1100 AHx4 dan jalur administrasi RB 450G. The use of the internet in the office requires stability for employees so that they can work well, it is not uncommon for some parties to use internet services for out-of-office needs for downloads and also social media. The Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) method in bandwidth management can solve this problem. HTB is a very structured method of sharing the bandwidth. HTB can be created by configuring the Mikrotik routerboard equipment by creating parent and child parameters and determining the minimum and maximum bandwidth used.

Intisari—Penggunaan internet saat ini sangat dibutuhkan untuk kelancaran dan kemudahan sebuah pekerjaaan diperusahaan yang umumnya menggunakan internet secara bersamaan. Semakain bertambahnya pengguna internet semakin berkurangnya performa kemampuan internet. Cara yang dapat ditempuh untuk mengurangi penurunan performansi jaringan yaitu dengan melakukan manajemen Bandwidth. Manajemen Bandwidth sangat penting dalam pengaturan alokasi Bandwidth yang akan diberikan kepada user untuk menghindari perebutan alokasi Bandwidth yang ada di jaringan. Pada penelitian ini manajemen Bandwidth menggunakan dua metode, yaitu Per Connection Queue (PCQ) dan Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB). PCQ pada queue type adalah salah satu fitur dari MikroTik untuk membantu memanage traffic rate dan traffic packet sedangkan Hiearachical Token Bucket (HTB) merupakan jenis aplikasi yang digunakan untuk membatasi akses menuju ke port/IP tertentu tanpa mengganggu trafik Bandwidth pengguna lain. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa kualitas jaringan dengan menggunakan metode antrian HTB (Hierarchical Token Bucket) dan metode PCQ (Peer Connection Queue) lebih optimal, hal ini dikarenakan semua client akan mendapatkan kuota Bandwidth sesuai dengan rule yang diterapkan pada Bandwidth manajemen. Pada perkembangan teknologi layanan internet menjadi kebutuhan utama sebagai sarana komunikasi dan bertukar informasi. Terutama pada bidang pendidikan seperi sekolah dasar sangat diperlukan fasilitas internet yang penggunanya adalah staff administrasi, guru, siswa melalui internet dapat mengakses berbagai ilmu pengetahuan yang dibutuhkan dengan cepat, sehingga dapat mempermudah proses belajar. Dari sekian banyak pengguna internet layanan internet menjadi buruk. Maka dari itu sistem pembagian bandwidth atau bisa disebut dengan manajemen bandwidth haruslah sesuai dengan kondisi layanan jaringan yang akan diterapkan dan manajemen bandwidth menjadi hal yang sangat diperlukan bagi jaringan multi layanan, karena semakin banyak dan bervariasinya aplikasi yang dapat dilayani oleh suatu jaringan berpengaruh pada penggunaan link dalam jaringan tersebut. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan studi pustaka (library research) dan pengimplementasian menggunakan metode Heararchical Token Bucket yaitu sebuah aplikasi yang berfungsi untuk mengatur pembagian bandwidth. Tujuan analisis ini untuk memberikan adanya sistem management bandwidth menjadikan pembagian secara adil bagi pengguna yang terhubung ke jaringan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Hierarchical Token Bucket dapat mengatur streaming dan browsing. Berdasarkan analisis penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan kesimpulan yaitu pengimpelemntasian metode HTB (Hierarchical Token Bucket) untuk manajemen bandwidth telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan standar dalam penggunaan internet untuk kegiatan download, upload, streaming dan browsing.
