The West Amazon peoples show a low economic and social development pattern, even when there are plenty of natural resources. It looks like there is a huge gap between these resources, the investments, the knowledge, and the public policies able to create a better life quality for the Amazonians. This work looks forward to promoting the development of the Amazon according to ways shown by the creative economy and the U Theory, special attention will be given to the Amazonian situation and the path to its cognitive development and subsequent economic development. The work is in the academia and communities that search for a viable alternative to creative and sustainable development. From this standpoint, the proposed general objective is to study the instrumentation of the creative economy with input from the U theory. As specific objectives: to perform a critical analysis of the raised concepts (1); to point towards the circularity elements of the creative economy in the community (2); and refer to the acknowledged instrumentation in this study in support to the creative economy, having as baseline the U Theory (3). Hence, the problem proposed is: how the concepts brought up by the creative economy with the support of the U Theory can contribute to the West Amazon’s economic, social and sustainable development promotion. It is meant as qualitative research with a content analysis method, in which the data was gathered through bibliographic search and interviews. In the results, it is proposed a competence and ability management space to the leaderships, beginning at the Amazonian home. It is due to capacitating and training these producers under innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability concepts. It is requested the attendance to rules and techniques be respected by the producer of products elaborated with the available raw material.

Cancer can be defined by both accelerated cell reproduction and the damage it causes to people's health regardless of type. Breast cancer is not specifically exclusive to women, it also affects men but is less frequent, in 2018 it was reported that in Mexico two out of every 10 deaths in women were due to corresponding breast cancer in the period 2011 to 2016. The goal of this review is to publicize the effectiveness of some of the psychological intervention programs since positive psychology in patients with breast cancer. The bibliographic search was made in databases such as Redalyc, SciELO, Dialnet, PubMed and Google Academia, as inclusion criteria it was taken into account that the bibliography had a period of age not more than 10 years. and as exclusion criteria, all interventions involving girls, boys and adolescents were ruled out. The results found that interventions from positive psychology applied in patients with breast cancer mainly work on both positive and negative emotions, welfare, optimism and self-concept trying from women living in that situation, providing as results the improvement of problem solving and coping with the disease and its consequences. It was concluded by noting that cognitive behavioral psychological intervention from positive psychology effectively helps to cope with changes in an adaptive way and has adapted to the new lifestyle caused by breast cancer. It was considered important that future interventions also work with the population of men even though the sample was small because the diagnoses in them are uncommon, however it is important to know the effects of psychological intervention on them from positive psychology, and the factors that usually affect mainly during and after the disease process.

The present study was carried out to relate the role of natural products in the metabolism of an increasingly prevalent disease, type 2 diabetes mellitus. At present, in addition to the pharmacological resources, an attempt is being made to treat diabetes mellitus with natural products. We carried out a systematic review of studies focusing on the role of natural products on diabetes mellitus treatment. The bibliographic search was done through Medline (Pubmed) and Web of Science. From 193 records, the title and summary of each were examined according to the criteria and whether they met the selection criteria. A total of 15 articles were included; after reviewing the literature, it is apparent that the concept of natural products is ambiguous as no clear boundary has been established between what is natural and what is synthetic, therefore we feel that a more explicit definition of the concept of “natural product” is needed. Gut microbiota is a promising therapeutic target in the treatment of diabetes. Therefore, it would be necessary to work on the relationship between the microbiome and the benefits in the treatment of diabetes mellitus. Treatment based solely on these natural products is not currently recommended as more studies are needed.

Repellents are important allies in trying to prevent diseases transmitted by mosquito bites. Plants have been a source of various repellents and insecticides because they have a large reservoir of bioactive substances, in addition, their products have already been tested and are gaining space in research as a low-cost and easy-access alternative. A systematic review was carried out in the databases, Science Direct, Scielo, SciFinder, Springer, PubMed / Medline, Scopus and Web of Science, evaluated by three reviewers. Titles, abstracts and articles were analyzed in full in English, Spanish and Portuguese. To identify the articles, the following descriptors from the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) were used: “insect repellents”, “essential oils”, “plants extract”, “repellent activity”, mosquitoes and plants. The bibliographic search resulted in 2274 records. Of these, 27 abstracts were considered potentially relevant, and at the end of the selection, 17 articles were included in their entirety. It was found that medicinal plants showed repellent activity against various species of mosquitoes, however due to the little standardization of the methodologies used and the products obtained it is necessary to develop standardized methods to guarantee the quality and reproducibility of clinical trials with medicinal plants.

People with visual impairment have greater difficulty in accessing physical activity and sport, and a lack of social interaction is also associated with a risk of exclusion. Work is currently being done to include people with visual impairment through physical activity and sport. However, there is a lack of studies examining the status and overall effectiveness of interventions in the pre- and post-COVID stage. This study aimed to provide solid evidence on the characteristics and effectiveness of interventions for the inclusion of people with visual impairment through physical activity and sport in order to address the need for dissemination on this topic. The bibliographic search was carried out with the words “Physical activity”, “Physical exercise”, “Sport”, “Physical training”, “visual disability”, “visual impairment” and “inclusion” in the databases PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar from 2018 to 2021.The article selection process was according to the PRISMA protocol with a final selection of nine articles. The main results highlighted that the programmes improve the perception of people with disabilities, increase social skills and health and increase the social importance of people with disabilities in the social environment. Among the most generalised conclusions were the need for specialised training, the need for social inclusion and participation of people with visual impairment in their environments and increased physical activity.

The present study concerns an integrative literature review, qualitative and quantitative, which culminated in results that demonstrate as causes and the predominance of anxiety and depression in university students in health care courses. Palavras-chave: Didática; prática; formaçãoAbstrat: Some educators and students are unhappy with the current education system. With the countless social changes, the way of teaching and learning have also changed over the years, so that both teachers and students perceive some pedagogical practices as outdated. We know that transformations are inevitable and necessary, however the challenge is established for teachers who need to adapt teaching, learning, technologies and society to their daily practices by changing or reformulating their didactics. Thus, this article aims to emphasize the importance of didactics, through discussions about pedagogical lines, teacher training and the role of didactics providing reflections that allow new perspectives on teaching-learning. Through this context, to teach is didactic training necessary? Is the mastery of content more important for teacher performance than didactics? A study with a qualitative approach is presented through a bibliographic search. It is concluded, therefore, that as an important and fundamental discipline, didactics conduct the work, uniting theory and practice allowing a meaningful learning process.Keyword: Didactics - practice - training

Cone beam computed tomography is widely used in dentistry, due to its easy accessibility, low cost and better accuracy compared to medical tomography. The present study aims to conduct a systematic review of the literature on the evaluation of jaw bones using cone beam computed tomography. A bibliographic search was performed in the electronic databases PubMed, Scopus, Embase and Web of Science. At the end of the analysis, 10 articles published between 1998 and 2015 were included. Cone beam computed tomography is a precise and fast method, used to evaluate digital images in high resolution, with sharpness, precision. In addition, the acquisition of these images is essential to measure bone elements, in quantity and quality. It should also be noted that the forecast of bone strength will depend on several factors, such as bone density and microarchitecture. Thus, the professional and reduces the likelihood of making mistakes, which interfere with the prognosis of dental treatment.

Open spaces (OSs), such as streets, squares, and green areas, in existing built environments (BEs) are key places in disaster risk management. The seismic risk in the OSs is strictly related to BE characteristics. Scientific literature mainly focuses on extrinsic factors affecting risk, which are related to BE elements on the OSs frontier (e.g., buildings) that could cause indirect effects on the OSs. Conversely, just a few risk assessment studies consider intrinsic factors, which are related to OS elements that could suffer direct effects. Moreover, synoptic studies on such factors are still missing. Through literature-based research, the paper identifies specific factors influencing seismic risk in the OSs, focusing notably on intrinsic vulnerability. The literature review methodology includes both a systematic review from Scopus databases and a traditional bibliographic search using snowball analysis. According to the final selected papers, risk factors are classified into five categories of OS characteristics: morpho-typology; physical; construction; use and users; and context. Statistical analysis of the categories’ recurrence in the final papers firstly allows current literature gaps to be defined. The results also provide a preliminary OSs risk index weighting each category in terms of such recurrences, thus representing a first useful step to support non-expert stakeholders in a preliminary assessment of priorities to define the seismic risk of Oss.
